Generally service is always good.
Generally service is always good.
But on this occasion, I booked car to have a service the same time to have a recall done on the car
I booked it in with over 4 weeks notice
When we arrived we instantly told , no starter motor so that will have to be done again !
Why wasn’t it ordered when we booked it in or told they were out of stock , as the purpose of booking the service was for it to be done all at same time as getting to the garage and back is always difficult in busy times of the day.
Service was done, and was told you will be instructed soon as starter motor is in stock and apologised for the inconvenience
4 weeks passed , had no correspondence at all. So I phoned up as we are taking car on channel tunnel soon and recall letter stated don’t park car in confined spaces or public car parks
Lady on phone said , we have one here.
So unless I phoned we would have not known.
So much for being told soon as one comes in we we allocate it to your car and let you know
This definitely lets your customer service down.
From not telling us until we arrived there was no part available to not following up as promised.
But as said at start of review
Once car is there , service is generally good overall and car always spotless when collected

Well firstly the service I received from Oliver and Ann Marie was exceptional, great communication throughout the 4 days my vehicle was there, the only issue I had was when I had to pay for it. Can someone please explain to me why I couldn't pay on my credit card??

My car went in for a drive train fault…
My car went in for a drive train fault they told me it was a sensor and they replaced it pick it up and my car still had a eml light on so went back in to tell them and after waiting around for a answer I was then told it was a inlet manifold so I left my car with them over the weekend I had to call them for a update and they told me a rat has chewed through the wire of the sensor they apparently changed this matter is still ongoing but I’m not going to hold my breath I’ve always had a bmw I will never deal with Cardiff again so disappointed

Could do with a confidential work area. So your customers can continue their office work at a designated workspace.
Also I didn't see a waiting area. I saw a refreshment area but no seats.

Replacement Air-Con Fan
Replacement Air-Con fan took a little longer due to the complexity of the work scope, the staff at Sytner Cardiff Mini Centre did everything to make my wait as pleasant as possible, even giving my a loan Mini for the time that it took to do the work, even though I did not request this when I booked it in for the work to be done. I have always found that Mini Centre help and would recommend them for Mini owners.

Polite and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable waiting area. Was kept informed throughout.
My only criticism is the lack of dairy alternatives at the drinks bar.

If you decide to put down the £99…
If you decide to put down the £99 deposit on a car please confirm with Sytner it goes through. They charged my credit card and had no records their end to say it had been processed. Currently with Mastercard pursuing a chargeback. Phoned the garage 3 times, with a response they would look into it with no communication received.

The original booking I had got cancelled and I had taken a day off work I phoned on the way to drop of the car as I had not had a text only to be told at this point I was 25 miles into the 50 mile journey no offer of any compensation
