The worst experience
The worst experience. Our initial dealings with the sales guy Bradley was excellent, we found a car and paid a deposit to reserve. We were then passed to the Sales Manager Alex, not a professional experience at all. We were told more about his personal life than anything else as he sat with his can of Monster, not a great look. Arranged to collect our car the following week. We received a Sytner demands and needs document via email and nothing else. I called 3 days prior to our agreed collection appointment to confirm it was still okay and was told it was. I followed up with an email to both the sales manager and sales man, no response from the manager and a response from the sales man to say he was out of the office but as far as he was aware all okay. We arrived at our appointment, the sales manager was clearly not expecting us and we were ushered into his office to be told the car wasn’t ready and he didn’t know we were coming. Apparently it’s awaiting a part although he had no idea which part. I said I had tried to email him but no response and he said he had been out of the business for the last 4 days. We left having arranged for them to update us on when it will be ready and arrange a delivery to us. 3 days later not a word so the order was cancelled. I sent an email outlining my frustrations to the sales manager and his manager and received a very obvious Chat GPT response within about 10 mins and not even an acknowledgment from the Manager. The fact the car wasn’t ready is not the problem, the awful service received was. My observation whilst there is a highly disorganised branch run by salesmen with absolutely no customer service to back up the sale. It’s clearly all about taking making the sale and what comes after is a gamble! I wouldn’t touch Sytner Select in future. We found an alternative car with Evans Halshaw in Bedford and have had a completely opposite experience, they have been an absolute pleasure.

Excellent customer service
I viewed a couple of cars recently at the Northampton branch and was pleasantly surprised. There was a very large range of vehicles to choose from and the staff went above and beyond to assist with all my queries. A young lady called Justyna served me and couldn’t be more helpful! She was friendly, courteous, approachable and answered all my questions without any pressure to sell the vehicle. Very pleased with my visit and would highly recommend Sytner Select at Northampton.

Brought a car today from sytner select and it was one of the best experiences we have had when it comes to buying a car! Super Sytner Service
From the start, I was well looked after by every member of the Sytner staff who dealt with me. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and professional with a no-nonsense attitude. I bought the car, which I was part-exchanging, from CarShop, prior to Sytner and I must say that there is a notable improvement in all aspects of the operation since Sytner took over. I was most impressed and I have already recommended Sytner to a couple of friends. Top marks.

Exceptional Service from Ty. A Car Salesman in a League of His Own
I honestly cannot recommend Ty highly enough. I went with my mother to help her purchase her car, and from our very first conversation right through to completing the purchase, Ty made the entire experience exceptional.
Ty is naturally talented at what he does. He is friendly, polite, patient and exceptionally knowledgeable about his profession. He answered every question we had, explained everything clearly and, importantly, pointed out things we hadn’t even thought of or known to ask about. He made sure we understood everything and that nothing was overlooked.
What really sets Ty apart, though, is the way he treats his customers. There was absolutely no pushing, persuading or rushing at any point. He gave my mother the time and space to make her own decision, while always being there with honest, professional and helpful advice. The whole process was smooth, calm and genuinely stress-free from beginning to end.
Ty is not simply a car salesman. He is someone who genuinely cares about the people he is dealing with and takes pride in making sure they have the right information and feel completely comfortable with their decision. His professionalism, patience, honesty and genuine manner are what set him apart. He doesn’t make you feel like a customer he is trying to sell a car to, he makes you feel like a person he is genuinely trying to help.
Ty is not just a car salesman he is a genuinely exceptional person who happens to be extremely good at selling cars.
We have met and dealt with many car salesmen over the years, but I can honestly say that we have never come across anyone quite like Ty. He is genuinely in a league of his own. His knowledge, patience, professionalism, manners and, most importantly, his genuine approach to people are second to none.
I would also like to mention all the other members of staff we met during our visit. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful. The overall atmosphere was incredibly positive, and it was clear that customer service was genuinely important throughout the dealership.
The dealership itself was also extremely impressive. The layout was top-spec, modern, spacious and very well thought out, with something to cater for all individuals and a wide range of needs. Everything felt comfortable, accessible and welcoming, which added to what was already an outstanding experience.
Buying a car can sometimes feel stressful or overwhelming, but Ty and the team completely changed that experience for us. My mother felt comfortable, respected and looked after throughout, and that meant a great deal to both of us.
If you are looking for someone who knows his profession inside out, listens to his customers, explains everything properly and allows you to make your own decision without any pressure whatsoever, I would wholeheartedly recommend Ty.
An absolute credit to the dealership and, without question, one of the best car salesmen we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Top notch service
Had a recent bad purchase from a different dealer leaving me quite out of pocket, sytner went out of Thier way to give me the best deal possible on my new motor, and even sorted out and issue that arose within a week of having the vehicle, it says sorted and fixed at Thier expenses, with zero quarrels. The team were very helpful, particularly Oliver and Nicola.
