Fabulous service
From my first visit to your showroom in Preston, I was greeted with a warm “hello “, I immediately felt at ease. I was introduced to Cian (sorry if I got the spelling wrong). Really nice guy, very easy going, not at all pushy and answered all my questions/queries. Eventually purchased my XC40, very happy customer. Shout out to Scott who was also very helpful.

Poor service at Volvo Preston
Tried to arrange for a service at Volvo Preston who appear to only offer an automated response to my enquiry. Whilst they provided a prompt email indicating that they would call back, they did not. This is the second occasion in 12 months that I have experienced poor service with this dealership. If Volvo had an alternative servicing garage nearby, I would certainly go elsewhere.

The car service was fine but contacting the dealership is extremely frustrating.
It takes ages to get a message through. The response is usually at an inconvenient time or not at all.
If its not possible to ring and speak to a human they will lose customers

Volvo Syntner Preston
We came in a week ago and dealt with Raheem. He was very patient explaining all aspects regarding buying the car taking the time to explain any queries and options available. Raheem was also extremely helpful with a few follow up queries later.
A mention also for Jack (think that’s the correct name) who took us for a test drive as well as going through the car settings, and dealing with phone connection issues.
My first experience with Syntner Preston was very favourable so would definitely recommend this company.

Customer service questionable
Service repair was fine, but when I challenged the labour cost was told in no uncertain terms " I can't be arsed to argue with you for 30 mins of labour".
I wasn't arguing, merely asking why I was charged for 1.5 hours when work only took 1 hrs.
Very rude and unwarranted.

I asked Volvo servicing on two occasions to look at my tyres (as there is a nail in one of the tyres) twice by text with service dept and I left a phone message.
No one has come back to me.
I just received a video by email showing the engineer checking the tyre treads.
As I’m disabled if this has not been attended to I could breakdown.
Communication for me as a motability customer has been very poor I don’t know now if anything has been done about the tyre.
It is impossible to speak to anyone in service as an automated service is always on.
I had a BMW last time and the service was amazing, they had a designated motability contact who was easy to get hold of. This is the first time I’ve had a Volvo - very disappointed.

The overall experience was excellent…
The overall experience was excellent nothing was to much of a problem to help and sort. The two Jack's where very professional and went out of there way to help. Jack Fitzpatrick did a personal video of the car for us to show the features and honest opinions. Jack Edmondson saw us on Saturday to take the car out for a test drive and was very personal and went out of his way to collect me from the train station on the day of the collection of the car. The jobs that needed doing they got them sorted for me. The after care is excellent and I will be back to have a front and rear dash cam fitted at Preston which is not my nearest dealer, but because of them both I will drive to Preston to have it fitted. The Overall experience from start to completion was very impressive. The dealership was excellent and a special mention to the two Jack's to point that when my wife need a new car we will be going to them.
