Alison in the Glasgow department helped me immensely when and had so much patience for my long list of cars and trying to find a boot hoist to suit my needs. Arranged for Darren from Cardiff Mobility in Motion to visit me and show us how to work hoist and various other things that could help me. Alison is professional yet friendly, very thorough and called back promptly when needed.

Please read the 1 star reviews, they're accurate and honest! Being honest, they don't even deserve the mandatory 1 star.

AIC Glasgow 'fitted' a hoist to my Motability car which I self funded at just under £3,000. A year later we discovered a major issue with water ingress and after a lot of investigations by the dealership it turns out the fitter put a hole in the car floor in the wrong place and also didn't tighten a bolt, both issues allowed rainwater to get into the car to the point it wasn't safe to drive due to wiring lying in the puddle on the floor. They attempted to repair the car twice using sealant, if it wasn't so horrendous it would be laughable. The carpet was sodden and the inside of the car was full of dampness.

I have been without a car for 115 days which covered all of he Christmas period due to the awful service provided by this company from the office 'manager' to the regional manager. After raising official complaints I had multiple calls with loads of apologies and guarantees that they'd ensure that communication would be better and processes would change etc, however when I asked for a gesture of goodwill/compensation for all the stress, upset and neglect of their duty to keep me mobile they decided that by repairing the car and cleaning the mess they caused was sufficient. Oh, lets not forget them filling my tank even though they forget that they used the petrol that was in it with all the journeys made for repairs, I'm therefore £22 worth of fuel to my benefit.

The weather has been awful since the repair and thankfully there is no water ingress, however, the final response letter is taking no ownership of the issue being theirs and apparently it's just a coincidence that what they fixed has resolved it.

If they'd chucked a bunch of flowers and a bottle of wine in the car to say sorry I would have moved on but they really don't care. For a business of this type they really don't have any consideration for people and certainly not disabled people who are rendered housebound due to their ineptitude.

Read the other reviews, please look elsewhere if you need this type of service because I would never recommend this company, they should be absolutely ashamed but unfortunately you can't shame the shameless.

RESPONSE TO TAIC
If the water ingress wasn't caused by your installation then why after your final repair has it been resolved? Nobody else carried out any works and the only inspections instructed by me were completed by Audi trained mechanics. It certainly wasn't them who filled a big hole in the underside of a wet car with sealant hoping it would stick!

Therefore, please stop trying to push the blame onto professionally trained mechanics and take ownership of the disaster that TAIC caused by poor workmanship.

I phoned the company as my hand control had become very slack. My car was becoming undrivable by myself. I was told to bring the car in and it would be looked at.
I had to get my car to my daughter who could then drive it as a normal automatic. I was so grateful for the 20 mile per hour! as the slack would wont get me much over that!
On getting to AIC in Cardiff, Kyle and Mike worked on the control system. They kept me informed while they worked on the cable, showed me the problem and how they were going to fix it.
As a person with mobility problems, the car is my lifeline. Without my car I cannot visit family and friends, as well as every day things that people normally do in their day.
After a while, the problem was solved and I went for a test drive ..... the car handled as it did when first adapted. I was so happy and appreciated the work the pair did.
I asked about payment and to my astonishment they said no charge. I almost cried with joy. If there is an employee of the month please give it to; Kyle, Mike and the person I spoke to on the phone.

AIC Peterborough were absolutely fantastic from Survey of vehicle, demonstration, communication, and especially pulling out all stops when had to bring installation forward due to personal circumstances. Lee excelled herself this week for me and cannot fault AIC and Leo fitting was fantastic, tidy, timing, demonstrating and customer service. 10 out of 10 for AIC

I have been a customer of AIC Chesterfield for a number of years and recently had push/pull hand controls fitted to my new Motability vehicle, didn't get the fitters name but as always they have done an excellent job. Would also like to especially thank Katie for arranging the installation at short notice.
I wouldn't ever consider using any other installation company and hope to be using them for many years to come. If anyone requires any adaptations to their vehicle I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company they are first class.

Had an issue with hoist which other company didn’t fit correctly and having been paid weren’t in a hurry to put it right. Alison was there to help and after I sent photos we arranged for me to visit AIC where the brilliant Stuart was able to fix the hoist!

I have been dealing with Alison and the team at AIC Glasgow for a around 5 years now and always receive the best service and quick turnaround times Alison is very helpful and knows her stuff. I am a VW main dealer and my customers always receive the best service from their field engineer Alec he cant do enough to help them. Also Sam is great to deal with and is a regular visitor to our showroom to keep us up-to-date with the new products.

Outstanding Adaptation Service – Fast, Professional, and Life-Changing

I can’t thank the team at TAIC Glasgow enough for the incredible job they did installing all the adaptations to my new Skoda Kodiaq Sportline – and doing it all within just 24 hours!

The level of professionalism, precision, and care they showed was nothing short of outstanding. They fitted a Turny Evo seat base, BEV seat, Brig-Ayd push/pull hand controls, an indicator switch, and a steering ball – all tailored perfectly to my needs as a full-time wheelchair user.

Every element was installed flawlessly and functions exactly as it should. You can tell the team take huge pride in their work, and they made sure I was fully comfortable with everything before handing the car back.
