Charged $111.99 after I deleted my…

Charged $111.99 after I deleted my account - No support response
I signed up for a 7-dav trial of Teleprompter.com and used the app once for less than 30 minutes. I deleted my account afterwards, as
I believed this would cancel the subscription, as I have no use for this app - I am in tech. Not a content creator or journalist.
To my surprise, I was charged $111.99 for an annual subscription at the end of the period. I immediately logged back in to request a refund via chat, and the chatbot was unresponsive.
This feels very misleading. Deleting an account should not leave an annual subscription active, and there was no clear warning that a separate
cancellation was required.

I am requesting an immediate full refund of $111.99. I have not used the app beyond the initial trial and have no intention to. I hope the
company resolves this quIckly.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. Their software is entirely counter-intuitive, and their chat kicked me out four times when I attempted to reach a live agent. When one of their reps finally did reach out in an email, they put the blame at my feet, telling me that their chat bot had answered my questions. Not the case!

I downloaded the app on desktop

I downloaded the app on desktop. I have used it for about an hour worth of recording.

The app was ok..it did the job.. i had the transcriber on the laptop screen..you cant move it a little but not a lot so it's a bit limited. it seems like an easy fix which tells me there is no real pride in their work.

I have been double billed and now dealing with the AI bot which is useless.

Left this window open for 10 minutes as "putting me through to a human". so far no humans so i will submit

Regarding the double billing, we'd love to look into this for you if it's still not resolved. Please reach out to support@teleprompter.com with your account email so we can check what happened and get it corrected.

One thing worth noting: our support team operates on UTC time and only on weekdays, so email responses can sometimes take a bit longer than expected, but we do get back to everyone. Sorry the bot experience wasn't helpful in the meantime; we're happy to have a real person look into this directly.

Bought this app on apples App Store .

Bought this app on apples App Store .. only saw yearly subscriptions never month .. program didn’t do what we needed .. tried canceling thought I did .. to my surprise I got a 95 dollar bill for a program I can’t use .. I thought no worries Apple has systems for this .. this company Apple says won’t let them give refunds .. so now a developer has my money and won’t give it back at least that’s what Apple is saying

We are truly sorry, that you didn't have a good experience with our product. We offer monthly and annual payment as well, all stated on the PayWall and on our Pricing page. Unfortunately, if you subscribed through the App Store, we can't issue the refund ourselves. Apple handles all payment processing and refund requests for App Store purchases, and for privacy reasons they don't share billing details with us, so we have no way to process, track, or approve a refund on our end.
