Ordered for a birthday gift, a beautifully assembled box of fresh goats cheese, nestled in straw and bound with a ribbon, all arriving in perfect order. We will definitely buy again - a fabulous supplier!

My husband and I attended a cheese making course at the courtyard dairy. We had a great day learning all about the history of cheese, how it’s made and getting to try our hand and making some ourselves. We had a warm welcome and throughly enjoyed it all. The amount of knowledge they have is phenomenal. We would happily come back regularly if it wasn’t quite so far from where we live.

We had a virtual tasting session with wines. All the admin worked well with cheese and wine samples arriving in good time. Really enjoyed the cheeses and learned quite a bit about cheese making and the producers. Seeing a few pictures of cheese makers added some context. This was an entertaining event with several good friends and family around the country. Andy was a great host and the other guests on zoom call were entertaining! Will do it again soon. Wines were well chosen too!

I attended the Strong & Mature Virtual Cheese Tasting yesterday. It was highly enjoyable. The cheese was absolutely delicious, especially the St Cera. Andy was very entertaining and informative. I had, for example, no idea that Wensleydale was originally a blue cheese. It was also very interesting to be told about the various producers and how they got involved in cheese making. I shall definitely do another tasting.

We bought virtual tasting (with wine!) experiences for our family and friends this Christmas then arranged to “meet” online to enjoy Andy’s cheese and hear about the production. The whole process was so slick, from the vouchers being sent, to the ordering of the cheese for delivery, then the arrival of the cheese with the zoom link. We had a fun time tasting and the cheeses of course are delicious - so very different from cheap supermarket cheese. Next time .. I will make notes of all the codes sent to family before giving them as presents .. as a couple got lost (!) .. but Andy helpfully sorted that too!! Great gift, great idea, fun experience. Thank you Andy!

We did our first cheese tasting yesterday. Irish cheese to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Andy’s genuine presentation and love of all things cheese made for a very entertaining and informative hour or so. Fantastic quality cheese, beer, cider and whiskey. We will definitely be joining another “distance” tasting

This was the second virtual cheese tasting we had done. The first was Scottish cheese & whiskey, the second was the Welsh Cheese Tasting on St David’s Day. The whole event was wonderful, from the selection of cheese and wine to the thoroughly informative, entertaining and light hearted presentation by Andy. We learned so much about the individual cheese makers and what makes them so special.
Mention must also be made of the great service I received prior to the event: the event was sold out but, on contacting staff at CD, they squeezed us in and rushed a delivery of cheese and wine to us BEFORE we had even paid! Then, we jolly well lost the Zoom link. Even though it was a Sunday, Andy resent the link.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening and one we will definitely be repeating.

The quality of the cheeses is very high and it is a small company which is worth supporting.

We've bought cheeses from the Courtyard Dairy for the last 3-4 years and the quality has always been exceptional whilst the variety always means it's tempting to try something new.
The service is also exceptional, friendly and prompt.

We bought the advent calendar for our son & his wife last year and were all so impressed with the whole package! Thinking we may have to buy one for home this year, we were lucky enough to have one sent to us! Fabulous cheeses (generous portions) with all the information and history of/about them, recipes … and even a couple of cheese jokes, beautifully packaged. It’s just the most fabulously enjoyable treat. We had a couple of fun cheese and wine/supper evenings with friends to get in the festive mood. THANK YOU to all at Courtyard Dairy!

Yet again The Courtyard Dairy have excelled themselves. My order arrived in absolutely perfect condition on 22 December. The care taken in packing and presentation is outstanding. The cheese is always delicious and they are very generous portions. The team are an absolute delight to talk to and their dedication to providing a wonderful product shines through. Excellent zoom Xmas cheese tasting session. Really good cheeses with wine and cake with deep knowledge of cheese, processes and makers from Andy.

My daughter received a gift from her sister of courtyard special cheddar. It arrived well pack with storage instructions. However it was very dry and brittle and disappointing. It probably was cut from the round a long time before.

Lovely shop, great experience

They keep changing my account email and password whenever I place an order. I get no response from customer service but they are happy keeping my banking details. It's annoying because I was recommended them and have tried some cheese from a neighbour but it seems futile for me to even attempt to place an order or sign up for a subscription when they refuse to communicate and simply make my account inaccessible.

Ordered the cheese and charcuterie box as a gift for my son. He's absolutely delighted with the products. I'm told the cheeses are delicious but the fennel salami (he's still got the other cured meats to try) was sublime. Lucky locals having this on their doorstep.

Great place to visit and try some fantastic cheeses before you decide which ones to buy. Have also bought on-line and cheese arrives on time and well packed. Great customer service too as when I needed to change a delivery date it was all sorted within half an hour.

Been a cheese lover all my life so was looking forward to visit. Freezing cold due to air con. Thought cheese should be served at room temperature. Offered three cheeses to taste all horrid like cardboard very disappointed. Could be down to temperature. Won't go again.
