I went to the London cosmetic clinic to have a keloid injection for small scar tissue on side on side of my nose and upon my arrival I was sat in a office and was told I could have much more improvement on my nose which I thought was fine and was pressured into having tear trough filler too as they told me my eyes looked very bad and sleepless, I eventually listened to them had all the treatment done and the results were poor shocking and I complained and they gave me a refund but my nose was abnormal after the nose filler and asked them to correct my nose with dissolving filler and after 7 times coming back there it is still not correct, they didn't reply and fix things for me and kept making excuses so many times and lied many times and it's effecting me still now and they have now said they will do nothing else for me and ignore my pleading for them to put my nose back to it's original state and I was under doctor johnson care and her duty as a medical doctor and she has just left my nose in state it is without any remorse or after care and refuses to anything else and her staff are unprofessional too and have had sarcastic remarks on whatts app msgs and also they left me waiting for along time every time I had a appointment and it's got to stage now that I am incontact with governing bodies professional law and complaints divisions.. I wish I had never been to the London cosmetic clinic as it's been over 16 months now

Took my data, kept me waiting around for half an hour and then told me the appointment was cancelled. I don’t think this is a legitimate business

Exceptional experience with Dr Salinda Johnson and her team

I recently had a consultation with Dr Salina Johnson at her Harley Street clinic, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of professionalism, honesty, and warmth shown by both Dr Johnson and her staff.

Dr Johnson took the time to carefully assess my skin, explain my options clearly, and most importantly, listen to my concerns and preferences. I never felt rushed or pressured into any treatment. Her approach was thoughtful, conservative, and tailored specifically to my needs, which gave me a great deal of confidence in her expertise.

What stood out most was her openness to discussion — she welcomed informed questions and made the consultation feel collaborative rather than transactional. The clinic staff were equally professional, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience relaxed and reassuring from start to finish.

Overall, it was a very positive and reassuring experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Salinda Johnson and her team to anyone looking for expert, ethical, and patient-centred care on Harley Street.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at London Cosmetic Clinic, specifically with Dr. Johnson. I attended the clinic to address raised scar tissue on my arm caused by a burn injury. Based on the clinic’s online presence and overwhelmingly positive reviews, I believed I was seeking care from a knowledgeable and ethical medical professional. That turned out to be a serious mistake.

During my consultation, Dr. Johnson confidently diagnosed my scar as a keloid, despite appearing uncertain and conducting no thorough assessment. I was immediately pushed into a treatment plan of five steroid injections and assured that my scar would flatten significantly and improve. I was shown examples of patients with far more severe keloids and was led to believe I would achieve similar results. These expectations were clearly unrealistic.

After multiple sessions and a significant financial investment, the treatment has resulted in little to no improvement. I later sought several independent medical opinions, all of which confirmed that the scar is not a keloid, but raised scar tissue something steroid injections have limited effect on. This raises serious concerns about Dr. Johnson’s competence in diagnosing and treating this condition and why this treatment was recommended at all.

When I raised concerns about the lack of progress and the apparent misdiagnosis, the clinic’s attitude noticeably changed. Communication became slow, dismissive, and unhelpful. Dr. Johnson’s behaviour also felt antagonising and unprofessional, rather than supportive or empathetic. Instead of addressing my concerns constructively, I was made to feel dismissed and spoken down to. While payment was taken quickly and without issue, accountability disappeared once the treatment failed.

I requested a refund due to the ineffective treatment and misleading assurances and was refused. I also asked about alternative options, including surgical treatment, which was initially implied but later withdrawn without any clear or reasonable explanation. I was instead encouraged to continue steroid injections that are clearly not working and have left my skin irritated and raw. Continuing a failed treatment simply to avoid responsibility is unacceptable.

I also find it concerning that the clinic’s website and online presence show almost exclusively positive reviews, which no longer feel credible given my experience. Patients should be extremely cautious and not believe everything they see online many clinic websites appear to prioritise reputation over transparency, and my experience does not align with what is advertised.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that the clinic’s clientele appears to include many patients of colour, which initially gave me confidence that my concerns would be understood and treated appropriately. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Again, once payment was secured, genuine care, support, and professionalism were no longer present.

This experience has been emotionally exhausting and distressing. I feel misdiagnosed, misled, and antagonised when I sought help and clarity. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to seek multiple independent medical opinions before committing to treatment and to be wary of promises that sound too good to be true.

I want a full refund or i will be pursuing this matter further, as this level of care from a medical professional is unacceptable.

Worst customer service experience ever, they spoke so rudely to me over message and then called my number to shout at me. Very unprofessional and rude. Manager is ver big headed and rude, she didn’t accept she was in the wrong instead she cut the call. Please don’t waste your time for these people that just want your money.

I had several treatments at The London Cosmetic Clinic , the staff at the clinic are so friendly and have a great sense of humor. Dr. Johnson is such a beautiful and very kind person, such professional and experienced doctors will explain everything in detail and find the best treatment and funds that you are looking for.
