After setting up Oxford's first independently owned coffee shop in 2009, we then opened our Roastery in 2014, where we source, small batch roast and serve the best coffee we can get our hands on. We pride ourselves on sustainably sourcing our coffee with the highest environmental and ethical standards, with 6 of coffees being sourced through direct trade. This means our farmers get a fair wage, encouraging sustainable production and ethical labour practices. Sustainability with no compromise on quality is at the heart of what we offer.

Great company making great coffee
I've been ordering coffee from the Missing Bean for months now and am extremely happy with them. The coffee is lovely, and to my knowledge (and I haven't checked) they are ethically source, and seek to pay the farmers fairly.

Great coffee which tastes fantastic. Nicely packaged - just enough to be robust (and recyclable). Comes with tasting/grower notes.

Amazing coffee
Great website, easy to use and fast dispatch. The whole bean coffee is outstanding, incredibly quality, perfect roasting and outstanding taste. They know and do coffee to perfection. Been using the shop and website for 3ish years and always been great.
