Lack of communication ongoing issue &uninhabitable properties
I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with The Perfect Host through Airbnb.
On the very first night of my stay, there was a major water leak coming from the bathroom ceiling that caused significant flooding in both the bathroom and the bedroom. Both areas became completely unusable, and to make matters worse, the water caused the electricity in the unit to go out, creating a serious safety hazard.
I reported the issue to the host immediately and followed up again, but I received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of communication and responsibility is unacceptable. The host failed entirely to acknowledge or address a situation that made the property uninhabitable.
I was not able to leave right away because there were no alternative accommodations available. Despite spending hours with Airbnb support trying to find another place (since the host ignored me), I was forced to stay overnight in these unsafe conditions. I spent hours cleaning up the water myself just to prevent further damage and didn’t get any sleep.
It has now been 12 days since this incident, and I still have not received any response from the host. Based on my experience and similar reviews from other guests, this lack of communication appears to be an ongoing issue. I attempted contact with him through Airbnb messages, Airbnb support, through the perfect host website, through email, and through his team members Anna and Grace.
I do not recommend The Perfect Host at all. This was incredibly unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.
