The reason I gave 4*
The reason I gave 4*, not five, is because when the shipment arrived (very prompt, as was promised 7-10days, thou), it was an additional invoice included. And I did have an impression that my order was paid in full at the time I place it on the internet. It might be VAT tax, not sure yet, but they need to make sure that customer is fully aware of that, need to make sure customer understand that and company needs to specify how that invoice should be paid. I’m not happy with any suggestions for payment.

I thought I bought a whiskey and paid…
I thought I bought a whiskey and paid only to find out later that the whiskey was not available. without any explanation the refund was given but through out both transactions, there were no communication of any kind by any person. the whole set of transaction could have been totally avoidable if they just said they didn't have it.

The issue was not if the whisky was available but due to your states import laws we were not able to ship to your state. As the transaction was done through Paypal we refunded the balance by Paypal and explained in the email confirming the refund and the reason for the refund. Excellent service!! A friendly and very helpful team. Queried about a rare whisky which I could not locate for sale anywhere. Few emails later Louis sourced and had a bottle waiting for me within a few days. I will definatley be using them again in future.

The best in the business.
I have made a number of transactions through The Rare Whisky Shop and I would highly recommend to anyone considering a purchase. Their customer service and follow up is the best in the market and the goods arrive on time and as described. Pricing is comparable if not better than the market so do your research but I don’t think you will find better...

Thank you for your review. The bottle you opted to buy was bought as a backorder as stated in your purchase email. This means the bottle is out of stock and we had to backorder it from our supplier. Unfortunately our supplier was unable to fulfil our order and as a result we contacted you immediately and issued a full refund, all within 48 hours.
