Recommended a smartwatch, I bought one and it lasted 9 days. Obviously they tested nothing

I ordered an invisible dog fence because of their good review.i paid 170 plus shipping.took a month to get it.it had no brand name on it at all.set up was horrible my dog and myself kept getting shocked bad!! Never could get any help with set up.decided to return and I'm still waiting on my refund almost 2 mos.later.it came from China the website leads you to believe the company is in the us but it's not!!!!!

We received the vest but no battery pack included. Their website made it sound like battery was included. They sent a different size than what we ordered. They will not correct. We have to pay fir shipping charges to return to China and receive a refund which is questionable. I would not order from them again. Ths website said brightfitness & then switches to hotjak when ordering. Then charge on credit card says suresell. I recommend not ordering from any of them

This is my update on my purchase of a HotJax heated vest and battery. The vest came in after more than two weeks, the battery finally came after almost a month. There were no instructions at all but I was able to figure it out. The vest was two sizes larger than what I ordered, but surprisingly it fit reasonably well (and I told them that in an email). It did work and I have to admit it does keep the body core warm in 30° F temperatures and moderate wind. The customer support team would respond almost mechanically, as though I was communicating with a “virtual advisor.” I had to “threaten” them that I would contact my credit card company and dispute their charge before I got an adequate response. Their tracking number only worked until their product arrived in New York. For a week after that, I had no way to track it until my USPS app sent me an email saying it would arrive the next day. All in all, I did finally receive my product, and it worked the first time out, but it was a long and frustrating ordeal. Next time, I plan to order American and pay the extra cost. The peace of mind will be worth it!

I ordered my heated vest and battery pack two weeks ago (December 2024) and received an “order confirmed” link but no actual order number. That should have been my first clue. One week later my credit card company shows the charges to my account. Now another week has passed and I have received no email information at all on my order, whether it has been sent or even processed. I emailed them today and said I need confirmation of it being sent immediately or I will contact my card company to dispute the charge. I will try to let you know what happens.

Next day update: Hotjax replied with an email apologizing for the long wait and told me my products shipped and gave me a tracking number and website to track them. They said it will take 5-8 days to arrive. I will update again in a week. - Arnie

gloves were tight, tight, tight. install the battery pack and no way am I going to get the gloves on. Contacted the "nerd" sight and have not heard back about there no "BS" return policy. Looks like I fell into the scam pit.

Ordered a heated jacket from hotjak.com. The billing went through hillipert.com. The tracking info was from a weird website called TRACK718. The tracking site said it was coming from China. The jacket did arrive on Dec 15th the wrong size childs XL instead of the adult Med I ordered. Took 4 weeks to arrive after ordering and multiple inquiries about the status.

There were multiple different emails for status, refund etc. Most of the emails I sent bounced back sometimes, no communication.

Their response: Due to expensive international shipping that would cost between $50-$80 they would offer me a $15 refund to make up for the inconvenience and I pay for the return out of my own pocket. What??? I paid $80.89 with shipping?

I emailed stating the $15 refund was unacceptable and expected a full refund.

The next email I received stated I could keep the jacket and they would send the correct jacket size to me for an additional $15. What??? THEY sent ME the wrong size...

Emailed back said that was unacceptable and at this point I expected a full Refund in US dollars to the amount I spent originally which is $80.89 immediately.

I reported both the websites... hotjak.com & hilipert.com to the FTC 167941396.

Definity a scam and at the very very least unethical business Practices...

I thought I was reading real reviews about heated gloves to find out these people are marketing for the scam gloves I bought called Hotjak. Hotjak is also sold by Hilipert. Gloves are a scam and so must reviewnerd, Hilipert and Hotjak because they won’t return my requests for a refund! I’ve filed a complaint with the FTC 166670193
