Hello Emma,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are disappointed that you gave us 1 star with regards to our customer service and products.

We are a very small team, three of us are Mums working around our young families and this is our busiest time of year. We try our best to process returns as promptly as possible and we state on the Returns page of our website to allow up to ten working days for returns to be processed once we have received your parcel. This was explained in our email to you on Christmas Eve.

We do not include paperwork within our parcels to be more environmentally conscious and sustainable. We provide information on the returns page of our website to assist customers with the returns process and we are available to help at info@thesmallhome.co.uk.

You contacted us on the 22nd of December to request returns information and we replied on the 24th, the same day as you raised a return request with us. You emailed on Saturday the 27th to say your return package had been collected and we replied on Sunday the 28th thanking you for your message.

As your parcel was posted on the 27th of December it wouldn't have been received by us before Monday the 29th. Your refund was processed today, Thursday the 8th of January and we sent you an email to confirm this had been done. In the email we explained that it can take up to two working days for the refund to clear, (in some cases it can take up to ten working days). Taking into account the Christmas holiday period, we have processed your return within the ten working day window that we made you aware of.

We feel that your feedback does not reflect our customer service or products.
