Phone call from Jack ref insurance quote, very friendly and explained every thing I needed to no about my insurance quote.
Very competitive quote from Think Insurance.
I can't praise them enough.

Dot touch this company for new drivers, salesman told me I could only get 7000 a year mileage but could top up as we needed, son did 1500 miles in his first 6 weeks with no warnings on his black box, to then be issued with a cancel notice for excessive mileage!! Just passed his test but of freedom 40 miles a day!! It’s not a lot.

They wanted £900 extra to balance the miles out or to cap him at 20 miles a day - baring in mind I’d already gave them £700+

They now want £200 to cancel it - absolute jokers

Absolutely terrible insurance company! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!! They have many very strict rules that they try to catch you out with. They give you warning for no reason so that that are able to fine you. Absolute money grabbers! They call you non stop (atleast 3 times a week). And email you endlessly. They then cancel your policy and fine you ridiculous money. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely avoid!!!!!!! What a scamming company for young individuals trying to better their life’s. As if they already aren’t faced with enough obstacles in their way to being able to fulfil their potential. They are faced with a scamming insurance firm who are constantly threatening extra charges for not driving their cars which they’ve already paid the hell of a price for and the reasons for not being able to drive their cars is the extortionate charges for mileage they are probably requiring to be able to earn a living or carrying on with their education.
I find it bullish behaviour and disgraceful a company is able to get away with!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking company cancelled my sons car insurance as the black box is not working properly i asked them to calibrate it to prove they were wrong on milage and point blank refused so i have to take it to the ombudsman

Ellie Hawkins... what can I say... She is, and sounds brilliant. Just as my transaction to renew my insurance was... first class interaction between us. She was clear, concise, with her description of the T&Cs. A credit to her company. So many times when having to listen to these, people can't understand the person speaking. But in Ellie's case my experience was brilliant.
My quote was quite competitive also.

having paid more than the cost of the car for my son’s insurance- and i do understand that 17 yr old males statistically are the highest risk group of drivers to insure- we were sent the Theo cradle to house the black box device.
unfortunately the design quality of this product is so poor, or simply does not stay attached to the windscreen.
Each time the cradle falls off the windscreen (about 48 hours after application in our experience ) my son has to gaffa tape the box onto the windscreen to try and appease the keyboard warriors at Think HQ, who fire off threatening emails and messages all the time.
we have had 6 cradles sent out since November- and the final insult today was when i was told i needed to pay £26 to replace the 6th, cheap, non adhesive , low quality cradle that had yet again failed to stick to the windscreen and fallen off!
The only way for my son’s policy not to be cancelled was to agree and order a new one.

It is a pitiful state of affairs- and looking on fora- i am not the only dissatisfied customer with this shoddy company and their dreadful customer service, customer care and second rate products .

Well 3 years ago they were only co who let us have 5 drivers and unlimited mileage and they have kept prices competitive. Paid via Ellie today who explained everything perfectly
