Been working with Third Republic for the last couple of years. They've always been professional, and they always are thinking about our business. This is what I like about a recruiter: someone who is not throwing us an asset because they have one, but rather is providing us an asset that we need.

One of the worst recruiting experiences I’ve ever had.

From the very first call, the recruiter was rude, chaotic, and domineering. He rang me on a Friday evening about a vague design role, didn’t even mention the company name, and spoke over me constantly. When I shared my salary expectations, he went on an inappropriate rant instead of having a professional conversation.

After hanging up, he called again because he’d forgotten key information, then followed up with emails telling me to change my CV, as if I worked for him. The following week, he repeatedly called instead of emailing, assumed I would adapt my schedule and expectations to whatever suited him, and offered zero flexibility.

When I had to cancel a meeting due to being genuinely ill (clearly explained by email), he called to express his “disappointment” and scolded me for not phoning him — completely crossing professional boundaries.

Only afterwards did I read the Trustpilot reviews and realise this is a pattern, not an exception: same behaviour, same person, same tactics.

I strongly recommend avoiding this company.
