I registered with Thornbury nursing agency a few years ago and registered with other Nursing agencies at around the same time. Thornbury nursing is the most organised agency of all.

They are professional, efficient, consistent considerate, creative authentic and really look after staff well. They really deserve a 5 star rating. I have heard many nurses say the same.

Honest, Swift and Transparent

I feel proud to work for Thornbury. I always feel that they are very careful when they pre-screen their nurses. They also ensure the highest standard of nursing care to their clients by providing qualified nurses and following up thoroughly on any complaints. Although high rates, clients have often said that they have peace of mind when on duty with Thornbury nurses as they know they can rely on their standard of practice.

During Covid they were amazing in keeping us informed about Covid. They also made sure as Agency nurses we have information on how to access vaccines.

Thornbury Nursing is a great company, very proactive and always setting the space in terms of standards of their staff, quality training and off course very rewarding rate.

The only agency nurse that truly gives back and will honour what they say they would. Excellent pay rates and no issue with payments. Their customer service is very supportive and I get to choose my shifts via their booking app (Quicknurse). I would work full-time with them if there are more available shifts near me. But otherwise, I am willing to go where there is required. I am grateful to work for them, nursing is a hard work but getting paid properly help ease the sacrifice and workload we go through. I always recommend TNS to my fellow nurses because they deserve the best.

Didn’t even consider furloughing me during first lockdown having been with them long time and loyal worker.

When I was not receiving any opportunities to work the business just refers back to zero hours contractor and therefore not required to offer worker any compensation or government scheme benefits in a pandemic.

Left me claiming job seekers benefits !

Positive - offer professional training opportunities which are subsidized at your cost.
Have a complaints team which are proactive but no line manager to resolve clinical issues which arise on agency shifts

I love working for Thornbury, it fits around my family life, I feel looked after and the pay is fantastic.

Thornbury Agency is the best agency I was working for and planning to stay with them as long as I see myself keeping with the nursing. I am in substantive post with one of the hospitals and was talking shifts with Thornbury for a number of years. I like the way Thornbury treat their nurses. In relation to everything - training , communication, advise, support- they were always here for me. Prompt , organised and promoting me . Thanks to them I also currently work with the Reseach company and thoroughly enjoy it !! I like flexibility of it and appreciation of my work.

I have worked for Thornbury for nearly 2 years now. I have never been faced with a problem. I have always been able to speak to someone when I've needed to. I could not ask for a better agency, you have an opotions to pick your own shifts, flexible shifts as well, they are open 24/7 -with great customer services. Great pay rate You do not have to wait 2 weeks to get paid, and they will pay for my pin this year, that will score them 120% out of 100%. Thornbury is the answer for me.
