In despair, I tried the Tile Dr! Our newly laid floor (2023) never looked right, was stained from the beginning and we couldn’t clean it with limestone care products. Diagnosis: deep clean, resurface and polish, provided neutral tile cleaner. The stone supplier’s limestone maintenance product (2023) includes bleach, Russell found (to our horror). Now the floor's a warm sandy colour not drab dull grey, with a shine. And - we hope - a good surface to clean and maintain. Huge thanks to Chris & Russell.

Excellent job on some very tired 6 inch red vintage kitchen tiling with heavily discoloured grouting and on a travertine bathroom floor in similarly poor condition - both transformed.

Having discussed the condition of our terracotta tiled floor in the kitchen with the local contractor (Tile Doctor Lincolnshire), I agreed to them undertaking the remedial work required and how this would be achieved.
The floor was cleaned and subsequently sealed which brought back the original colour and warmth of the terracotta finish. The work was undertaken efficiently, professionally and in a friendly manner. Very pleased with the outcome.

I have a slate floor that was put in over 15 years ago.

When having work done to the kitchen recently the contractor who is also a friend and someone I now hate to the core of my being tried to clean it;-)

Let's just say not a good job.

The remain and go, and grout cleaner products worked well, (it did take 5 applications) and eventually removed all of the old sealer and didn't have the same toxic smell other products I tried had, which didn't work.

The reason I have given Tile Doctor 4 stars is after consulting other people in the same position as me, it might be more realistic in their instructions to indicate that it might be a challenging job and require multiple applications. I appreciate that if you give me a number of applications users will hold you to account if their floor is not cleaned in x applications. On the other hand saying it might require more than one application doesn't prepare you for the actual work required.

I found when you stopped getting a brown slurry, and on application a white foam was all that remained before rinsing would have been useful to know.

Punctual, committed to the job, explaining what steps were being carried out. He didn't go home at the end of the day until he was satisfied. Overall an excellent project completed by a caring workman. Our church now looks all the better for his work. The 150yr. old tiled floors now colourful again. Before he left he talked me through what cleaning processes had to be done for each section of the church.

Tile Doctor did a fantastic job on a really difficult floor. They worked for hours on a vinyl floor with really ingrained dirt. And then sealed it to make it more dirt proof in future. This took a full day but the team were unobtrusive, very helpful and courteous. Thoroughly recommend.

Mick did a very good job in the en-suite and we were very pleased.

I have wanted to renovate the tiles in the hall and kitchen. Tile Doctor’s site is comprehensive-with advice, tutorials and all the products necessary for bringing tiles back to life. I contacted Tile Doctor’s site before buying and they could not have been more helpful. Russell spent 30minutes talking through the list I had put together for restoring 2 different types of tile-he was knowledgeable, professional and supportive of my project.
