My appointment time was set up quickly and efficiently. I had my survey today, by Craig, and was really impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and level of detail covered. My report arrived hours after my visit and was helpful and thorough. Thank you, Timberwise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Tradesman Justin was exceptionally helpful. Explained everything clearly, finished all work well and as required, referring to us all the way through to ensure that we were happy with the job, cleared up after himself, even to the extent of sweeping the footway outside the front door to clear the dust. Always on time, and the company's initial response was quick and clear.

I contacted Timberwise due to damp issues in my flat. A free survey was arranged really quickly and Ashley came out. He was so knowledgable, professional and friendly. He took the time time to go through everything with me and made sure I understood the various issues. This made a real difference to me after being wrongly quoted by another company. The work was booked in within a few weeks and a chap from Moldex came and installed a vent. He was also very friendly and efficient. I have found Timberwise such a great company, so professional and good value for money. Will be recommending to my friends with similar problems and wouldn’t hesitate to use in future. Thank you!

Timberwise did some damp work at my house in August last year. I was extremely happy with the service and professionalism of the team. However, it became apparent that the quality of the plastering was low to the point that an independent plasterer said it needed to be redone. I had to chase and chase Timberwise for a response, finally they revisited and agreed to do the work but when it came to actually redoing it they have been dragging their heels for months over the price. I have expressed to their area manager how this had affected my mental health and he had ignored my email until I phoned him direct. He agreed to pay half of the associated costs and then went back to ignoring my emails. I’m now claiming the money back through my credit card company and they are ignoring them as well. Don’t use this company. Avoid at all costs

Wonderful Service -friendly but professional - Very reassured by Ashley from Timberwise -We have an old property with some issues, and Ashley spent considerable time with us, giving very comprehensive information and advice. Have a damp problem so wanted an inspection but Timberwise didn't want to know, said it wasn't within their remit, suggested I contact a local builder first. Surely the wrong way round, survey first to ascertain where the problem is then builder in to fix.

I can’t say whether the damp proof membrane will do the trick as only time will tell. However we enjoyed excellent customer service from Sharon in the Glasgow office and they guys who worked on site were friendly, professional and cleared the site beautifully afterwards. In combination the team made me feel confident they’d done a good job- so fingers crossed.

It’s only 4 star as time will tell how good the work was medium to long term. But the work by James/Jimmy was excellent and 5 star. He worked very hard for long days during exceptionally hot weather. And the plastering has been very well done and professionally finished. We’re pleased. Thanks Jimmy and Timberwise.

Fantastic service - Ashley couldn’t have been more helpful or informative and the report was very comprehensive with excellent and clear recommendations - we have a coastal house prone to damp and feel very reassured by the advice provided.

Engaged with Timberwise to carry out a condition survey of a timber door. Ashley from the south west office was able to attend within 4 days and the report was turned around and received the following day. Great service.

I had a really great experience with Timerwise.
I had rising damp in a newly purchased property and found getting a good quote difficult until I found Timberwise. They made everything straight forward and it was clear what the quote was for (not something I found in general). They were very professional and it feels like good value as I know they did a good job.
The guys who did the work worked very hard and even though the job was a difficult one cracked on with no fuss. Craig Jones and Richard carried out the work and were really considerate the whole way through, explained everything really clearly and did a great job.

Just had Timberwise tackle a rising damp issue at my house on the Somerset Levels. The house is very old and the walls a mixture of Cob/Stone/Brick/Block. The Sherborne Office were vey efficient and easy to deal with and the initial site visit took place promptly. In particular we would like to thank Adrian who undertook the Strip out/DPM/Re-Plastering. He was always on time, very tidy and left us after 4 days with an excellent finish. This is the 3rd time we have used Timberwise on differing parts of the house and over a 26 year spread and if required will not hesitate to do so again. Thanks from the both of us, Steve & Sarah

We contacted Timberwise after receiving multiple quotes for a damp course to correct rising damp. I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. I called and spoke with Karolyn from customer service regarding booking in for our quote. She was super helpful. We were sent a profile of our surveyor Graham who came out quite quickly after booking. Graham was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice and a detailed report/ quote. The quote was a lot better than I expected and better than others I had previously received. I was informed we could use the dry tek injection system and they would inject behind skirting boards which would save us removing all the plaster. This was perfect as less mess and time. We booked in and was sent a date for work to commence with how many technicians would be working and for how long. We had two technicians on day 1, Adam and Nick and just Adam for a few hours the following day. Adam and Nick were incredible! They were so respectful, helpful and tidy! They got all of the work done so quickly with minimum disruption. The skirting boards were removed and put back in most rooms without any damage, you wouldn’t have even been able to tell anything had changed! (Two of our skirting boards were badly wood rotted and wouldn’t be suitable for putting back, they explained everything perfectly and even advised where we could get a similar replacement.) I am honestly so impressed with the whole service from start to finish! I would definitely recommend to anybody who needs their services!

Norman from Timberwise travelled from Somerset to Hampshire, to treat the timbers in my very old house yesterday. He was knowledgeable and informative, I felt the work could not have been better. It was a pleasure to have him working on my home. I cannot rate him too highly.

Incredibly helpful staff - very responsive when we called needing a damp survey in a rush, had it done less than two days later. Great experience.

Had Tim from Timberwise (Bristol/Dorset?) to my victorian property. We have a troublesome basement floor, below ground. Thought 25 year old tanking (done by another company and out of guarantee) had failed because of numerous problem areas that were presenting. Expected the worse. He took the time to say no need to retank yet and even though the visit was at no charge to me, Tim took the time to explain what the issues were, what I could do to avoid them in future and what to tell the decorators when we get redecorated. Felt reassured I was getting great advice (absolutely no-upselling).

I filled an online form in and attached a couple of photos which I thought was possibly a damp problem. I received a telephone call which unfortunately I missed but a voicemail had been left informing me an email had been sent to me. Jenna had emailed me detailed information which was extremely helpful and also from the enclosed photos identified the problem as a condensation issue not damp. Also how to deal with it.
Such a helpful company giving free advice is a very good experience and should I need to use them in the future would have no hesitation in using them.
