Attended for the 18th edition. Jim, our tutor, was patient and knowledgeable with a class full of students at different levels. He skillfully explained all we needed to know to prepare us for the final exam. The general staff interaction was good, with everyone pleasant and attentive. This is my second time here and I'd happily attend again.

Neil was great in helping me complete my experienced worker NVQ. Getting all my evidence organised and uploaded in good time. And clearly showing me what I had left to tick off.

I have recently completed the EWA scheme with Trade Skills & recommend them. My assessor Josh Lawrence made the process enjoyable, easy to understand, always available to discuss requirements with a positive outcome to complete. I have used Trade Skills for all of my qualifications and will do so for future requirements.

I recently attended the Solar PV and Battery course at Tradeskills4u Leeds.

From initial welcome to the goodbye the centre was outstanding. The Resources are first class, and the instructors (Richard) delivery and depth of knowledge in the subject was second to none.

I would highly rate this provider whether you're new to the trade or a time served spark looking to broaden your skill set and keep up to date with new technologies.

Extremely poor experience – delays, poor communication and inconsistent teaching

My experience with Trade Skills4U has been extremely disappointing, and based on what I have experienced, I would not recommend them.

The biggest problem has been the constant delays, lack of clear communication, inconsistent information and the amount of chasing required just to get basic answers. I have contacted them repeatedly, submitted formal complaints, escalated those complaints and given them numerous opportunities to resolve the issues. Despite this, important matters have dragged on for weeks and months without satisfactory resolution.

During my Level 3 course I was taught by five different tutors. Some individual tutors were good, but overall the lack of continuity caused problems. Different tutors had different approaches and, particularly during Unit 305 and the Design Project, the guidance was inconsistent.

The problems with Unit 305 became serious enough that a formal group complaint was made. Trade Skills4U later partially upheld the complaint and acknowledged that conflicting guidance had been provided and that communication and project guidance could have been clearer and more consistent.

My Design Project was recorded as submitted on 8 June 2026. I then had to repeatedly chase for marking, feedback and updates. I was not told until 24 August 2026 — 77 days later — that the project was complete pending internal verification.

As of 24 September, more than four weeks after that confirmation, I still have not received my Level 3 certificate. The Level 3 programme itself finished around seven weeks ago. After paying thousands of pounds for professional training, I do not believe students should have to keep chasing for marking, verification, certificates and basic information about their qualification.

The customer service and complaint handling have also been extremely poor. I personally found the way some of these matters were handled dismissive and disrespectful. Responses were often delayed, issues were passed around, and I repeatedly had to contact them again because promised timescales passed without a proper resolution. At one stage Trade Skills4U itself attributed delays partly to annual leave within Senior Management. For a company of this size, I do not consider that an acceptable reason for a substantial group of students to be left waiting for their complaint to be dealt with.

There have also been serious inconsistencies regarding what I purchased.

I was required to make a separate £577 payment in connection with attending the 18th Edition course. Trade Skills4U subsequently wrote to me stating that the 18th Edition had actually been added to my booking as a “complimentary (non-chargeable) course.” Their later position was different again. I found the contradictory information completely unacceptable.

The 2357 NVQ was also expressly named in my written bundle description, yet I have still not been provided with the NVQ as part of that package and Trade Skills4U later treated it as an additional course.

The most frustrating part is that I did not immediately leave a negative review. I gave Trade Skills4U repeated opportunities to put things right. I complained formally, provided evidence, waited through their stated response periods, escalated the matter and continued trying to resolve it directly with them.

After all of that, I am still dealing with unresolved issues and still waiting for my Level 3 certification.

For a training provider charging thousands of pounds, I expected consistent teaching, accurate information, reasonable assessment times, clear communication and professional customer service. That is not the experience I received.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Trade Skills4U. If you are considering enrolling, I strongly suggest getting every qualification, price, package inclusion and commitment confirmed clearly in writing before paying.

THE COMPANY HAS VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND IS NOT HELPFUL THEY LIKE TAKING MONEY AND MAKE GETTING WHAT YOU PAID FOR VERY DIFFICULT.

I had a great experience joining the course via Nikki she was very very helpful answering all my questions efficiently. All the staff are happy to help aswell in the facility. Would recommend

If anyone is thinking of changing career to become an electrician I can highly recommend Tradeskill4u,I was a appliance engineer that wanted to become an electrician.I started my journey November 2024 at the age of 54 doing my level 2 C&G 2365-02 at Coventry,Everyone was so helpful and approachable.My tutor told the class if you struggle anywhere to let him Know straight away and he suggested todo a group WhatsApp so we can all help each other which really did help.I passed my level 2 then did my level 3 C&G 2365-03 which I passed and then I did my NVQ level 3 C&G 2357 with tradeskill4u,The help I got was second to none.June 2026 I passed my AM2 and now I am working as a qualified electrician,Thankyou for everything.
