WORST COMPANY EVER - BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!! The companybidemnifies themselves and the owner. The renter will be responsible for EVERYTHING! I tried to rent an enclosed trailer, went to pick it up and the owner had listed all the wrong stats and the trailer was not compatible. Rushed to find another that hour, the company assisted to find a flat bed at the same price as the enclosed. There was no spare tire or safety pin. Tire blew put 4 hours down the road, had to pay $500 I'm towing and new tires and STILL lost the deposit. Over $1,000 for a total nightmare. DO NOT USE NEIGHBORHOOD TRAILER!!!!

Prodotti scadenti e assistenza post vendita ancora peggio

Pessima esperienza.
Ho acquistato due pneumatici per il carrello appendice.
Uno dei due è arrivato completamente schiacciato e deformato, tanto che, qualora fossi anche riuscito a montarlo sul cerchio (un tubeless è praticamente impossibile da gonfiare se i talloni non vanno almeno a sfiorare gli hump del canale), sarebbe stato comunque insicuro durante l'uso.
La risposta dell'ufficio tecnico dell'azienda alla richiesta di sostituzione con altro pneumatico valido è stata:
"l'articolo ricevuto non è danneggiato. Il consiglio prima del montaggio è di scaldare il pneumatico a temperatura ambiente. Quindi montare il pneumatico e gonfiarlo".
Purtroppo non posso allegare qualche foto per una valutazione visiva delle condizioni del prodotto.

Where do I begin

Where do I begin. I was given a price for the trailer by the salesperson on a Thursday in Orlando. I made plans to pick the trailer up on Saturday. I asked them to email me the paper work on Thursday and called 2x on Friday and again on Saturday prior to making the 90 minute drive to Orlando. I never received the paperwork. When I arrived Saturday, the paperwork they gave me was $3,000 more than what they quoted me on the trailer. I ended up having to pay extra for the trailer and take off some of the extras that were on the trailer.
I spent 4.5 hours waiting for corporate to approve the purchase price and then review the purchase. First time using the trailer, the walls of the trailer bent which would not allow the doors to close. Then the welds started rusting to the point the top latch fell off while driving. I brought the trailer to two different welders, and they were shocked at the poor quality of the workmanship.
I have reached out to Trailers plus on the initial issues and sent pictures, and they told me we overloaded the trailer. Not sure how they would know this without seeing our load. They told us to drop the trailer off for two weeks and we would have to pay 50% of the repairs.

I have called back several times to discuss the welds and they have not returned my calls.

I would never buy another product of this outfit.

Bad business practice

I took a 1/2 day off work, drove # hours to pick up my new trailer and got charged $ 80 for them to walk out and inspect the brand new trailer. That is taking advantage of customers and is bad business practice. I paid for there time to sell me a trailer !

Bought a 6.4x10 Carry On trailer last…

Bought a 6.4x10 Carry On trailer last year.

Paint on the trailer is extremely poor. No primer was applied, under a very cheap one coat of paint. After 2 months all parts of the trailer had rust showing through the paint. Paint estimate to repaint is $580.00.

Also, cheap non radial tires are wearing badly and causes trailer to wag. It needs radial tires, estimate $280 both. Looks like the trailer now comes with radial tires, both Trailers Plus and Carry-On refuse to address the poor quality.

PAINT AND TIRES conveniently not covered under warranty.

Terrible customer service

I called TrailersPlus and started working with someone about buying a dump trailer. They told me to obtain financing first so I did everything got financing reach out to them. They never bother to help me never called me back I called them several times and they just truly ignore me. Terrible customer service.

We appreciate the feedback. I do see that you were pre-approved for financing and reached out to let us know. As we explained at that time, all you needed to do was come in and pick up the trailer during business hours. We recommended reserving the trailer and attempted to set a VIP appointment for you to pick up the trailer so we could make sure somebody was ready to assist you when you arrived. Unfortunately, we were unable to pin down a specific time, but based on our conversation, we were expecting you to show up at the store the next morning to pick up the trailer. We apologize that you didn't receive a call back from somebody at our Hershey store. We will have them reach out to you right away.

Horrible customer service

UPDATE:
My ONLY complaint was the fact the only employee there actively avoiding ACKNOWLEDGING our presence. Has he done that, instead of ditching behind other trailers, I would not have complained at all. THAT was my only complaint about the employee. 8/20/23
My husband and I purchased a nice, top of the line car hauler a couple months ago from Trailers Plus in Lewiston, Idaho. The sale went fine, however, we needed to return a set of straps we couldn’t use because our vehicle is lowered. I called, they would take them back no problem. Great. Btw, we live 65 miles away from this dealership.
We stopped by when we were in town shortly after and at 2:00 in the afternoon, they were closed. We’ll bring them by another time then.
Yesterday, we decided to stop by as soon as they opened, as it was going to be about 110 degrees. We got there at about 10:15 and there was already a customer there with the only Trailers Plus employee. That employee saw us and did everything he could to ignore us, including hiding behind trailers. I called the main number. Three times she tried to call this individual and three times he ignored his phone. We ONLY got waited on after that customer told him to wait on us first.
And now, we were told we’d have to wait for a check, even though we paid for them months ago.

worst place to buy a trailer!

I have been buying trailers for my business over a 20 year period. Recently, I tried a different outfit in Portland oregon, Trailers Plus. I have used my trailer for less than 4 months when we got 2 flat tires in the rear. I had our mechanic look at why both would fail and the wear patterns? Turns out the axle is not aligned properly. Distance from each wheel hub is off by 1/4". I never knew to check for this. I took it in thinking the dealer would take care of this, the evidence is right there and the wear on the tires proves it. Well, get ready folks. I was to blame. I "overweighted my trailer" they said. At most we only carry 3 lawn mowers weighing no more than 900lbs max. Didn't matter, this was their story, excuse for not looking further into this. I didn't see how if this was even the case, how it changes the issue I have anyhow. I was told to "pick up my trailer as we need space here" or, I could pay to replace the 2 tires in back. Very rude people once you have made a sale. I picked it up and instantly went over to trailer city down the street, where I have been buying from for over 15 years. BTW, there at Trailer City, you don't need a dumb appointment just to talk to someone or get service! They are going to look at it and determine if hangers under trailer were welded in wrong spots. Very helpful and amazing service department! I plan to pursue legal remedies from this corrupt dealer over at Trailers Plus. Just take a look at their lot, empty!! Trailer City has lots of stock and people there to talk to. Service department as I said is amazing. Don't waist your time with these fraudsters at Trailers Plus!

Thank you for the feedback. Whenever a warranty claim is submitted, it is common practice to inspect the trailer to ensure that the damage or defects resulted from normal use. The intent of a Limited Warranty is to repair or replace any parts or structural features of the trailer that have failed due to defective materials or workmanship. If it is deemed that the defects resulted from anything other than normal use, the claim may be denied. We take all warranty claims very seriously and review them thoroughly before approving or denying them.

Don't buy junk. welds breaking…

bought Patriot trailer built by trailer plus. falling apart piece of junk. Only two months old. Welds breaking. Door sagging. Don't buy. Junk. Nothing closes correct.

Went there to get a trailer and when they pulled it around they broke the loading leg ,there a good amount of rust and paint was peeling said he could give me $50 off the NEW trailer I WAS going to buy I think a 1 out of 5 is being too nice but can’t give them a negative -5

False advertised their product

We purchased a 7 X 16 LoadRunner Cargo Trailer from the San Marcos TX location. Before we purchased the trailer we wanted to make sure that it was tubed framed. According to their website, it is. When we asked the sales representative, they said that it is a tube-framed construction. We get it home and start taking off the wood panels to insulation it and find out it is all hat channel frame. We called Trailersplus to see what we could do and they stated there is nothing. Not only did they lie to us they falsely advertised their product online.

If you ask what the frame is made of, we will always say tube steel or I-Beam, depending on the model. we drove 50 miles to find a locked gate with cash in hand.

We have texts confirming the sales staff never informed us that they show and sell only by appt. We drove 55 miles with cash in hand ready to pick up our trailer, only to find the gate locked. We arrived at the gate at 12.42 and waited. They where well where of the fact that we were on Hwy 50 on are way to Medford. We texted and called them of our arrival at 12.42. We were sent away at 12;55 because lunch was more important then a sales. We were not the only customer turned away. So sad. Another business going down.
