Our complaint is that we requested a full refund of our flights (tickets 4416394 and 4411881).

We had paid £459.23, with full insurance with the airline - around £55 extra to cover for any eventuality - but we only received a refund of £210.

The site says that our refund was processed. There is no way of disputing this or requesting the remaining refund. We do not know why we only received the partial refund and we want the remaining balance to be refunded please.

There is no working phone number or email for Travelgenio, so no wonder there are so many bad reviews here... people are desperate for some way of contacting them!

Update!
They reply to the review just to look like they will do something about it which is totally false. We've sent the email with all details to the referred customer suport email and weeks have passed without a reply. This company is a total scam. Don't trust them. Book your flights somewhere else.

Absolutely unprofessional service by Travelgenio

1) The ticket price shown at the time of booking was nearly Rs 42000. However, when I put in my credit card details and clicked on "Pay", the price increased and I was charged Rs 45000. This happened without my consent as I was shown Rs 42000 till the end, not 45000. I wish to get the difference of Rs 3000 refunded into my bank account.

2) During booking , it was shown that 2 bags are included in the ticket price. Now, my booking on the website shows 0 bags while the e-ticket email shows 2 bags. So, please clarify

I have no tickets! I booked 3 tickets for a flight in 3 days time and have had no email confirmation - all I know is that the money has left my account and I have no reference number, booking code or ID or anything! No ticket obviously

Hi Dear , I did booked the tickets and my flight is in next 4 day but I didn't get the tickets booking confirmation yet why? but you took the money from my account.

You don't have phone number or email address to contact you and you are the worse company.

I booked a flight to India 2020 before covid hit the travel restrictions. It's now been over a year and I have no refund. It's a lot of money and frankly I am absolutely appalled at the lack of contact details for travelgenio. No email address, no working phone number to contact them. Nothing, just a list of FAQs. I am told on my account that the refund is not being issued because it wasn't a cancelled flight. Which is definitely not true. Of course it was cancelled it was the first lockdown. How am I supposed to contact the appropriate person if there are no contact details?

Hello, I have contacter Travelgenio many times via the dedicated form in the website as my return flight was cancelled but nobody contacted me back. Ref N18744066. I am wondering how is it possible. This is inacceptable! Is there any other option to join the customer service?

I booked a flight about 17 hours ago now but am yet to receive my e-ticket. This taking way too long. It should be at least 1-4 hours. Please send my ticket to my email provided in my booking.

Today, my connecting flight from London to Ukraine was removed, no notice, no explanation and NO WORKING contact details to contact the travelgenio or the airline about refunds or reorganising flights or alternatives.

After reading the recent reviews, this appears to be a scam company.

LEFT STRANDED AT AIRPORT WITH NO FLIGHT

I booked a flight with Travelgenio and they sent me a flight confirmation email for my flight to Daresalam with Turkish airlines from Gatwick. I got to the airport and there was no flight, in fact I was informed the Turkish airlines has not been flying from Gatwick for the last six months. I called Travelgenio and their line was disconnected. I was stuck at the airport with no flight! I called Turkish airlines, who advised me that the flight had been cancelled 2 weeks ago and that they had informed Travelgeno. Travelgeno never informed me of the cancelled flight nor did I receive any communication from them. i also discovered that the booking code they gave me was incorrect. To make things worse, I paid for extra leg room for both my connecting flights and Turkish airlines confirmed that they had refunded this money to Travelgino. Travelgenio have not communicated to let me know that I am due a refund, nor have they refunded me any money. THIS IS FRUAD!

I have not been able to communicate with them at all. I am reporting them to the UK Civil Authority Agency, ABTA and the Financial Ombudsman

I got my ticket thank you but I got it after 23hrs. You need to improve your system especially as an airline agent you shall make sure your customer get their service on time and without delay. I was so worry at the beginning but now every thing is good.

I booked a flight from Vienna to Cairo through SkyScanner and Travelgenio is the travel agent that I chose. The flight was booked on 25th of June. And the flight date is the 14th of July from Vienna to Cairo. I made the payment, but never received a booking confirmation or anything. The payment has been made though! I don't know how to contact them with my email address!

I was not able to have my flight because airport personnel
said that Colombo will not cater a more than 12 hours lay over. So I spoke with the sri Lankan airline customer service but they told me that you'll be the one who could help me regarding this matter since I booked and paid a flight on your agency. Travelgenio doesn't even advice me that they have that guidelines that I cannot lay over for more than 12 hours but travelgenio confirmed my ticket.. Could you help me about this? Can possible to have a rebooking or refund? Its emergency urgent sir/maam.

I have been waiting 15 months for a refund on my Covid cancelled flight from Perth, Australia to London, UK.

Each time I write on here (and Trust Pilot is the only place I get any response from them), Travel Genio sends the same message it sends everyone.

"Please send an e-mail to customer.service from the e-mail address you used to make the reservation and indicating the Booking ID in the subject (8-digit code that appears in the confirmation e-mail), and you will receive instructions to contact one of our specialised agents."

I do this, and then I get the following email:

"Unfortunately we have not located any reservation with the email address you wrote us from. Please make sure to contact us by using the same e-mail that you filled in to make the reservation and do not forget to indicate the Booking ID that you will find in the confirmation email (numerical code) in the subject of the e-mail."

Which is obviously untrue. I write and tell them this and then nothing.

Why ask people to email you if you don't even reply.

Purchasing a flight through Trust Genio was the stupidest decision I ever made and I have no hope of ever seeing my money again.

I have a problem with my eticket.

I bought a trip:

Mexico - Canada - Japan - Indonesia.

I added my e-mail correctly and the booking arrived with no problem.

Today I wanted to check how my reservation was going since I haven’t received my eticket so I entered to your website, look up for my flight with my e-mail and I received an e-mail stating that there were not reservations with that e-mail.

(I have checked twice my e-mail so there are not errors, the booking e-mail arrived properly so you must have my email address correctly, I have checked also my Spam and there’s no sign of my e-ticket)

I have already sent an email to the customer.service@... mail and I haven’t had an answer.

Never sent my confirmation. The flight day came and went without any contact from them whatsoever. I emailed them about a refund and got no reply. Now I have given all their information from companies house to my solicitor and he is following it up to see how much compensation can be claimed along with my refund. At the moment though, still no response from travelshitio.

Update: Emailed travelshitio at the address they provided in reply to this review... Still no reply from their “specialist agents”.

Still nothing... Months now! I mean what do you need to investigate exactly? You sold tickets for a flight, did not send the relevant information. Have been sent the booking reference and all necessary information, have not even replied. This is just outright theft! If this is how the world works now and crappy companies like you get away with this then perhaps I’ll start selling Ferrari’s online and just going dark when people complain they have not gotten what they paid for.

Another update. Today you did in fact email me, sad things is that you denied that the payment had ever been taken. I don’t know if this is just a case of you being totally incompetent or actually trying to lie about the payment being taken, when I clearly have a deduction from my account in the name of travelgenio. I will post a copy of both your email denying receipt of payment and my bank statement showing it as paid now for all the good people of trustpilot to have a look over.

Maybe you should get a more competent member of your “specialist team” to look again and find my payment!

Very frustrating! I've booked a flight that was rescheduled due to corona (flight company side). I was told I could reschedule for a 30 EUR fee or request a refund.

Your team is offering me 0 solution, constantly hung up on me after 30min on the phone. I called all your different numbers, it's landing on the same service.

The only person who answered me advised to contact the airline, by mail too. However, the airline is not responsible for it as Travelgenio is the third party booking the tickets.

I spent the last 48H trying to get in touch with a customer representative, but all of them hung up for me for no reason. I was not unpleasant or demanding.

My flight tickets are still on hold since february 2021, we're in June now and still no return from the customer service.

540 EUR in the wind, contact me back.

Unbelievable, after so many email sent over, still no reply. The amount of stress, on the top of money loss...I jad to purchase another ticket.

If during the booking the email was misspelled, without being even noticed, how it can be used the same one to send the booking number for further details/instructions, please? Doesn't seems to make sense, for some reason. However email was sent to email indicated, but no reply came back yet and this leaves the situation the same whilst the date of flight is approaching.

Complete frauds and a non reliable company with rude customer agents. Haven't processed my cancellation refunds for over a year!

Mariano Pelizzari is running a dodgy business and must be put behind bars.

Compré un pasaje a través de Travelgenio en 2020, por la pandemia mi vuelo fue cancelado y yo los contacté directamente para informarles que quería conservar mi pasaje. Sin embargo, la respuesta que recibí fue que los protocolos ya habían sido activados y que, de acuerdo con mi solicitud, habían solicitado el reembolso (repito, había solicitado explícitamente lo contrario). Aun así, acepté el proceso de reembolso. Esto sucedió en junio del 2020, hoy 20 de mayo de 2021 todavía no he recibido mi reembolso. Travelgenio tiene una pésima atención al cliente ya que son prácticamente imposibles de contactar. La única vía por la que me han respondido es por Twitter y dicen que la aerolínea aún no realiza el reembolso, sin embargo, he contactado a la aerolínea repetidas veces y ellso aseguran que se realizó el reembolso hace meses.
Pésima experiencia, pésimo servicio y sin resultados.

Hello, I bought two tickets some days ago and never got a confirmation email, don't have any kind of reference or number because I didn't take a print screen after the payment being accepted. So at the moment I have no confirmation number, no tickets and I payed for them.

Because of this, I tryed to call without sucess, because once again, I have no email with the booking reference which the first thing they ask on a call and without it, it doesn't go any further.
The email was not delivered... I mean, what can I do?? There is no way of establishing contact with this company and sort out the problem, I mean, I payed the ticket, all the details are correct, the email was correctar, but I have any reference.

Since truspilot is not allowing email Adress in this review how can I send my email to travelgenio?
