Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the St Austell Premier Inn. I have been staying at Premier Inn for around 15 years, and this is the first time I have ever had such a bad experience.
The room was extremely dusty and had spider webs. There was no shower gel and no toilet tissue provided. Most concerningly, my daughter developed a skin rash on her face during our stay, which made the poor cleanliness even more worrying for us.
I expected much better standards from Premier Inn, especially after being a loyal customer for so many years. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into what happened, as this experience was very upsetting for my family.

Regent is no longer a luxury cruise .
Since the acquisition by Norwegian Cruise Line the cost cutters and bean counters have been busy.
You will find better value for money from the budget cruise lines at a fraction of this price.
Its always the same once a top class cruise company like Regent are acquired the cost cutters set to work to improve there margins at your cost.
This was a very expensive cruise nearly $2,500 per night for 10 nights. F1 Serenity.
I discussed this with the ships manager Michael Coghlan who was very sympathetic to my criticisms but in the end what you see is what you get and be in no doubt it is simply not good enough at this price point.
Unfortunately we have two further cruises booked with Regent and having paid our deposits are now locked in otherwise we would definitely cancel. We thought we were booking the Regent Cruise pre the acquisition but discovered we paid the premium for a budget cruise line.
The food offerings are an embarrassment at this price point.

To sum up avoid the hype and spin and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. AVOID.

Trip Advisor are an awful company.

Reviews of the wrong company allowed.
Incorrect and untruthful reviews allowed.

Arbitrarily delete valid and genuine reviews. Whether good or bad.

No customer support PEOPLE only too stupid to mention AI which isn’t intelligent.

Trip advisor should be ignored.

Alternate review only websites which aren’t commercially gaining from reviews should instead be used. Google Maps reviews are far more accurate.

In response to TA response.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen reviews of companies which are erroneous and clearly of the wrong business on a TA profile. IT really does diminish the value of the review system.

You DO profit from reviews as you sell advertising to companies which list their reviews on your website, to say you do not is disingenuous and frankly lends more credibility to TA being an evil organisation.

It's not until you have reason to complain to a company that you find out how poor their customer service is. The sheer arrogance of TripAdvisor knows no bounds and I have absolutely no faith that they vet reviews for accuracy and the fake reviews are causing genuine businesses to suffer. I know that my comments will get their stock response of 'To ensure our content is helpful and accurate, we use both automated technology and a moderation team to verify that reviews are family-friendly, correctly placed, and compliant with our submission guidelines. If a review is flagged as suspicious or violates our policies, our team investigates and removes any content that does not meet our standards' because their employees obviously don't have the intelligence to provide a personal response and actually address complainants concerns. It's good job we have Google to look at as their reviews seem more accurate.

Company outright puts you at misinformation when booking anything, incorrect tags associated with certain venues. The company is not as diverse as other competitors - seem to only push their select agenda, I personally prefer a site with more relaxed offering.

If you are a real lover of animals, I strongly suggest you do not EVER use trip advisor.

My review was removed due to hate speech! The Ionian cruise we went on from Corfu port was dangerous. I question anything on my review that wasn't factual. There was nothing derogatory with my post, no name calling or slurs. They didn't provide a safety briefing and when the lighting storm hit they didn't know what to do, people were scared and they didn't announce anything and the staff were running around shouting. This trip was advertised as a catamaran boat trip which it wasn't and they clearly didn't know what to do in a case of emergency. I question how my review (other than it being negative) is bad for TripAdvisor? If you only allow positive reviews then how can we trust you to provide impartial recommendations? The facts were:
Misrepresentation of excursion (small boat no catamaran)
Overcrowded boat(not enough seats)
No safety instructions
Limited time at the blue caves
Not relaxing music very loud speakers blaring out music regardless of where you were.
Unsafe, unstowed equipment.
Poor professionalism when trouble occurred. Passengers were concerned at one point it looked like they were forcing/shouting us down below which was very alarming.

I am shocked at how TripAdvisor works and now will no longer use them as they are clearly not showing a balanced review and only interested in lining the pockets!!!!

Years ago TripAdvisor was a competent company with an honest purpose. As a business owner it now allows any comments to be made with no recourse. My business has a phone number and our clients can always talk direct to me. TripAdvisor is utterly faceless. I do not trust them as a review site as only proven genuine clients should be allowed to review.

I had a fantastic stay at Ramada Hall Bazar, Amritsar. The staff made my visit truly memorable a special thanks to Ms. Kuljeet and Yasmeen for taking such excellent care of me during my stay. I also appreciate Ms Pooja from Avanti Cafe and Mr. Hritik, Ms. Kshish for serving delicious coffee and meals. Please pass my compliments to the chef for the mouth-watering kulcha chole and the puri–aloo sabzi.
I’d also like to recognise two housekeeping staff members for their prompt and warm service in keeping my room neat and spotless. I’m sorry I forgot their names; both were tall and fair-complexion. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay.

NOTHING MORE THAN A CON COMPANY. I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE USING THEM FOR CAR INSURANCE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I wanted the new policy to run from the 14th August, and they started it on the 20th. I was not prepared to drive on the road for six days without insurance. I put my wife down as the second driver, and they said I hadn't. I have the filled-in form correctly and have a copy. My policy all of a sudden went up over £200. There are many reputable companies out there, and the RAC is certainly not one of them and is very unhelpful. Basically I was treated like a liar. They are the liars, and as a pensioner, I feel very frustrated and now feel anxious about what's just happened to me. I cancelled the policy, and they have taken a large amount of money off me; they call it administration fees. They are just out to take money off two pensioners and I will know go the ombudsman.

Not much point in posting an honest review of a hotel if the hotel customer service manager can then reply on the app denying documented facts, (effectively calling you a liar), as to then challenge their denial on Trip advisor you then have to delete your original review and submit as an edited one. However if the hotel challenge it again you are not allowed a second edit even if you delete again and submit a further review. Basically if a hotel wants to just have a review removed they can simply bait the traveller into deleting their review by lying twice.
No way of contacting Trip advisor. Might as well not bother using.

I wanted to review Hays Travel the agent not some random hotel but could not see how to do it will have to use Trust pilot and some others instead.

Ah, these folks love reviews when they can earn a bob or two. Sadly they do not enable you to write a review of a city. Or if they do "F" knows how. Anyway, the site has lots of genuinely useful reviews written by real people. Many of which are useful. Just don't go with booking anything with them would be my advice. Sometimes the places mentioned are miles, sometimes 1,000's from where you're looking. Too great a reliance upon AI and coders not up to the job. What a pity............................

Trip advisor must get payment from the companies reviewed, positive reviews are accepted but negative reviews are rejected! What is the point when they cherry pick? I have now deleted this corrupt biased app.

This is a review of TravelMaker Bucharest Day Tours that I booked through Tripadvisor.
We took a day tour to the usual sights in Bran, Brasov, and Peles. It was very well organized, and the tour guide was absolutely excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, humorous, and helpful. The driver was great, too, and I highly recommend them.
I must mention that my recent trip to Bucharest was wonderful. There were very nice, friendly people everywhere (at hotels, restaurants, in taxis, and among tour operators), with the exception of one small tuk-tuk operator. In addition to providing poor service, he started harassing me after I left an honest review. We would gladly return to Romania and Bucharest, but we will definitely stay away from tuk-tuks.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at the Baron Inn Campsite in Leominster, and we had the most wonderful experience.

The campsite itself was lovely – clean, great atmosphere and well looked after. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the food and the people.

We had a steak meal in the inn, and I can honestly say it was the best meal I’ve ever eaten and that’s no joke! It was cooked to absolute perfection.

Everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Huge compliments to the chef and a well-deserved 5 stars to everyone at the Baron Inn Campsite. We can’t wait to come back! 🤩❤️

TripAdvisor what a shambolic site! So you put a fair review and yet they deny it based on some washed up policy!

Disgusting company making money off my business that I never agreed to be on its platform, someone malicious added my business just to leave a one star review.
I have 4.9 star Google reviews over hundreds of reviews of people who have actually visited my business which I agreed to set up.

I posted a legitimate honest, entirely unoffensive review but it was rejected for an excuse that didn't make sense in the context of the content. Even after appealing it was still rejected.

See all those resorts with 5 Star ratings on TripAdvisor? Yeah it's because TripAdvisor filters out a proportion of lower rated reviews - the reviews aren't natural because reviews like mine get rejected illegitimately, and so the star ratings are artificially inflated, which boosts their sales.

Website is poorly laid out and is VERY unintuitive when it comes to navigating

I hate TA for closing down seat guru and offering no alternative.
