Tunstall 365 personal alarm and telecare service

After the closure of the Care Link emergency telecare service by Wakefield Council, I arranged for my elderly mother to have the Tunstall 365 personal alarm and telecare service installed.
Everything from the initial service information to the installation and testing of the system was excellent.
Based on my short experience of the personal alarm and telecare service, I would definitely recommend Tunstall Healthcare to monitor and assist vulnerable or elderly people that live in their own homes

Literally a lifesaver

Literally a lifesaver. I worry about mum 24/7 but this means I can be there when she needs me as well as when she doesn’t! She’s fallen without her phone in reach but always wears her button. Staff are always very kind.

Slechte service.

Slechte service.
Zelf opdraaien voor de kosten voor het terug sturen van het oude alarm systeem.
Dat terwijl het automatisch over is gegaan naar een ander bedrijf.
Ook nog is €9 duurder geworden per maand, triest voor al die oudjes

Waardeloze service...


De Pannehoeve in Helmond is overgestapt naar Altide met apparatuur van Tunstall.
Tunstall heeft de apparatuur niet op tijd aan mijn ouders geleverd waardoor ze nu de zorg niet kunnen bereiken. Interne fout Tunstall volgens Altide. Nu zouden ze de apparatuur alsnog verzenden. Geen tracking gekregen. Om 15:30 gebeld voor het track and trace nummer, om 17:20 maar opgehangen na ruim een uur op positie één te hebben doorgebracht. Tunstall is net als het Verenigd Koninkrijk zelf in verval geraakt. 911 is the patient breathing, niet als het aan Tunstall ligt.

Houd u er wel rekening mee dat van de…

Houd u er wel rekening mee dat van de borg van €100 meer dan de helft wordt ingehouden.Effectief blijft er €41 van over. Bezoek monteur voor het verwijderen van het sleutelkasje het ophalen en afmelden van de kluis en ook nog de BTW daar over. Wisten wij veel toen we ermee in zee gingen.

No aftercare service : very disappointing

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support from your company. My child’s seizure alarm system — essential medical equipment for my son — has not been working for over a month. During this time, I have repeatedly called and left messages to report the fault and request repair, but I have never once received a response from your fault/support team.
What is particularly frustrating is that your sales team answers calls promptly, yet when it comes to supporting families who rely on your expensive medical devices for their children’s safety, there is complete silence. This equipment is not optional or a luxury — it is critical to my son’s wellbeing.
I am asking for urgent contact and resolution, as this level of aftercare is unacceptable for a company providing medical alarm systems.

ZORG ARM BEDRIJF

Bij Careyn mij gemeld voor een persoonlijk alarm à € 15.75 per mnd. Zij werken met TUNSTALL!!! alarm apparatuur.
Na mijn verhuizing werkte het apparaat niet meer dat was 18 December 2025. Ik heb beide partijen menig keer gebeld. Er wordt echter geen "zorg" verleend. Het is nu 8 Januari 2026 en waar het alarm voor is( je veilig voelen) daar hebben beide partijen
Geen zorghart!!

Not reliable

I have had a Tunstall lifeline unit and pendant for many years. Until recently the service wasn't bad, but of late I have numerous connection problems with about 50% of calls failing to connect or going unanswered in a timely fashion and them ringing back on landline some time later. There's no reassurance tones on the new style unit. I tried a test call today which took 35 minutes to be answered. This is totally unacceptable for a service which is a safety net for emergencies. I am seriously considering going to an alternative provider. I pay a monthly charge for the service and am not reassured it is either value for money or going to be there should I need it in an emergency. Very worrying and disappointing.

Health and safety and complete confidentiality breaches

Left me2 nights and nearly 2 days with the alarm I'm no link to allowing me to listen in on the control center and hear information re other clients dispite them knowing via myself for a full 24 hours they refused to mute it via there system until I told them I couldn't stand the 24 hour noise any more and was going to leave my property and notify the media as to the disgraceful breach of health and safety on my part and complete failure of confidentiality on all other clients don't use them they don't have a proper system in place so your more vulnerable with them

Left in bleeping hell for 36 hours

The smoke alarm battery needed changing and it was reported at 21.25 pm. The next day Tunstall didn’t attend and I waited for them most of the day. No updates were given. 10.30 am next day Tunstall engineer rang to say all his stuff “was locked in a cupboard and he’d only just got it back”. Our other fire service was doing an inspection coincidentally and the lovely man fixed it for me, not Tunstall. Their service levels are appalling

Zou hier nooit meer een ZORGALARM kopen

Totaal niet bereikbaar als er een storing op het apparaat thuis is. Geeft een vreselijkehoge toon en stem herhaald zich ook als de stekker eruit getrokken wordt. Bij overlijden van abonnee. Moet je op eigen kosten het apparaat terugsturen naar Barendrecht waar het bedrijf zit en tijdens deze reis blijft het apparaat praten dat er geen ontvangst is. Betaling stopt pas als het apparaat ontvangen is.

Good system for emergency however if…

Good system for emergency however if machine not working it took days to solve the problem, passing you from one person to another and every-time you update will ask you all over again then leave you on the phone and never come back until your blood boil. We are paying for their services. Until now i'm still waiting. Perhaps i can cancell this company. There are many out there.

Tunstall has being useless down to a fine art.

tunstall says on its website that they: "provide the highest quality in planned and responsive maintenance"
this is of course a large steaming pile of male, bovine excrement.
i live in a building where a recent replacement of all the alarm and access control systems saw us move to Tunstall systems. To say they are useless would quite honestly be a compliment. the access control system has never worked properly and so called "maintenance engineers" {stiffles laughter} horendous. rude, surly, spoke down to both staff and residents, ya know, us that are paying his wages. spends more time hid behind his van smoking than he does working, botchs the job so it works for a couple of days at most, then it all goes to excrement again.
personally I wouldnt recommend then to my worst enemy. They have being utterly useless down to a fine art.

Resiliation du contrat abus de facturation

Aucun problème concernant l'offre de téléassistance.
A la résiliation, suite au départ précipité de mon mari en Ehpad USLD le 30/04/2024, le 1er mai étant un jour férié pour tous, j'ai prévenu Tunstall Vitaris le 2 mai au matin et rapporté le jour même le matériel au CCAS de ma ville. Mon mari n'étant plus à la maison et de mon côté ayant rapporté le matériel le 2 mai, je ne m'attendais pas à ce que l'on me facture le mois de mai. L'on m'a répondu, au service facturation, que le mois de mai étant commencé est dû.
C'est malhonnête car nous n'avons pas consommé le matériel début mai et il me semblait difficile de faire plus vite. Ce n'est pas très humain d'agir ainsi surtout dans une période difficile. Ce n'est pas l'argent qui me choque, c'est le motif de leur réponse, c'est médiocre.

Giving "ONE STAR" is not what I had in…

Giving "ONE STAR" is not what I had in mind. No star would have been more appropriate. They are hopless. The socalled "GEM" did not work properly, and I wanted to take it to their office in Brisbane, but I was informed that there would be no one to assist me. I then communicated with the Head Office, but an email, directed me to some other office, but they also failed to address the issue, and stated, that they were very busy to respond in a timly manner. The watch had been erratic, at times it was not responding at all and finally, about 15th of May 2024 the watch completely died on me. I then dispatched on 17 May the watch by registered post to the Brisbane office, which they received on 20 May 2024, but the company failed to respond. In the afternoon, Monday I contacted the office and they acknowledged that the watch had been received and somebody will contact me shortly. It did not happen. Two days later I telephoned and I was informed that a replacement watch was being sent, but so far nothing has come in the post and there was no communication from the office either. Today the 29 May I again contacted the office and now I am informed that the watch will be sent. Like all of us I too had purchased the watch as an insurance against any mishap. I'm sure you all would agree that if my watch, which I regard as insurance, is unable to provide cover, then, I would imagine, the provider of the watch must be held responsible. Please be careful.

Maffiapraktijken bij terugzending

Zoals bij de meeste gevallen van apparatuur terugsturen, komt ook hier als vanzelfsprekend de helft niet aan. Met een rekening als gevolg. Ben klaar met dit soort maffiapraktijken en laat het er op aan komen. Laat de rechter maar beslissen, maar ik heb alle bewijsmateriaal kn handen.
