Couldn’t register using the App. Verification process was clunky and so eventually gave up after three attempts. Telephone advisor could only advise me to try again!! One less customer for UBL Uk.

I visited the branch last week and was greeted by Aisha. I had a few queries for my overseas account which needed updating and due to the complexities of it and the fact that it was a joint-account, Aisha explained the full process of what needed doing. I was advised to visit anytime with the joint-account holder and the procedural matters would be sorted. I met Aisha again who kindly took the time to explain the admin process to save me time. The regional manager of the branch also verified all documents which gave me a strong sense of confidence with the security and anti-fraud checks. So thank you UBL!

Have tried 3 times to transfer my ISA to another bank. Numerous phone calls to be told different things every time. The most recent call today with my CISA Numbers for requested transfers was just as frustrating. Apparently they do not exist. 35 days for a reply from the complaints department leaves me no option but to go to the ombudsman to try and get my own money. Transfers rejected because apparently I do not have an ISA account. Frustrated does not even begin to describe how I feel after my last call.

I set up my Isa with no problem at all, I tried to set one up for my husband and it just would not go through. we had to do this three times and in the end gave up and he went elsewhere for his isa this year.

I use ubluknetremit dot com to send money from UK, but it is extremely difficult to create new recipients. Every other bank requires just a name and IBAN. But this website requires the entire personal biodata of the recipient. DOB, CNIC, address, etc. Still in the 20th century.
Tried to send them a message from the mailbox in the website, but it keeps blanking out the message. Looks like no one has QAed this website.
Update: I used Western Union. Straight froward. Just needed the name and IBAN. Just two things. No need to bother the recipient asking their personal details.

I was served in the branch by Aisha Shaikh,who helped me set up my online banking and set up my banking app. She was very useful and helped me resolve, the issues I was having. I’ve tried to open an isa using there app but on every occasion it will not work saying “oops something gone wrong” but so you go through putting all your details in again only to get “oops something gone wrong “ which is very annoying as you spend so much time inputting the information and photo I’d in several times it easier to take a lower rate than deal with them
