We had new carpet fitted for the upstairs of our home. Andrew, the manager was very helpful, honest and knowledgeable when it came to choosing the write carpet for us. Mark the fitter also done a great job for us on the day (05/06/24). All in all, we are very happy with the service provided and will be going back again. Thank you!

Thanks to United Carpets in Arnold Nottingham. Half the price that was quoted by other carpet shops, very friendly service in store. They fitted the carpet about a week after ordering it. Mark was a very friendly fitter and did an excellent job, very quick high quality finish. He even comleted the job 1 day quicker than we expected as he managed to get the stair runner edged in advance. Couldn't be happier, highly recomended

After being let down twice by Carpetright, taking over 9 weeks, we visited United Carpets in Arnold. Andrew could not have been more helpful, giving advice about the different carpets on offer and explaining the process and as the carpet we chose was in stock had it fitted within 4 days, could have been sooner if we had wanted. Karl the fitter was very professional and polite and did an excellent job. We would highly recommend United Carpets and will definitely be using them again.

Great fitter and helpful in store. We were supported in store to find the right carpet for our needs. Fitter Mark was prompt and professional. It’s great that blue light cards are accepted here and this made a difference to the overall price. We will return for future carpet purchases.

Went to Arnold/Daybrook store and got good customer service to help choose the right carpet for us at a really competitive price. Mark did the fitting and did a superb job; I'll be using the store again.

This was my first time purchasing carpet from them & I used the Arnold/Daybrook store in Nottingham. The Manager came to my home as I’m disabled & he helped me to I choose the correct carpet in order to meet my requirements & not only did I get an excellent deal & but I got some excellent info regarding underlay too. I was very impressed & pleased with everything & also what was extremely impressive was the “honesty” of the manager who informed me that the carpet that had been delivered to them for my fitting was soiled & that he would have to reorder which meant I would have to change the day of fitting my carpet, but he was very accommodating & worked around me. Then the day of fitting arrived Friday 3-11-23 & I must say the skill & knowledge of the carpet fitter was exceptional. I would most definitely recommend them to family & friends & have done so already to a family member in Birmingham. Going forward whenever I require carpet or flooring I would most definitely use this store in Nottingham & the carpet fitter again. I am so pleased with my new carpet it looks amazing & I feel like I’m walking on air, also when you look at it you can see an expert fitted it, a brilliant job done. I can’t praise them enough “give credit where credit is due” as they say.

Andrew was so helpful from start to finish helping us choose the right carpet, Mark the fitter was brilliant even helped with moving furniture 1 st class.

From start to finish great customer services great knowledge and advice. I got my carpet and bed from them as always delighted with the end result. I recommend them to anyone

Fitting is not free. It is included in the carpet quote and you pay the fitters separately who are rubbish. It took about two months to get a replacement carpet and new fitter. Avoid this company

Excellent costumer care from Andrew , he made time for me when I had a tight schedule over the bank holiday. He made everything feel so relaxed and easy. The price was exceptional and he fit it to my needs with a payment plan which took a lot of weight off my shoulders. The flooring fitted is beautiful and made my home look really lovely.

I recently had a stair carpet fitted plus small top landing (1.7 by 1.8 Mtrs) from the day took shop nottingham at a cost of 700 ponds .
I went for interest free payment so was expecting them to put the price up a little but on reflection think I payed way too much (only myself to blame as I excepted the price as just wanted I’d doing ),but think I’d probably got it at least 200 cheaper if I’d shopped around.
The fitter arrived later than the agreed time (I ended up ringing him),which was annoying as I turned down overtime at work to be there ,but did make quite a nice job but didn’t have the correct carpet strip for the bathroom door which he said he fit the following day .I had to ring him again the following day to see what was happening and then was talking about posting it through my letter box .I explained that after paying paying all that money I was not going to fit my own strip and it ended up that the strip was delivered to the daybrook shop and I had to ring the manager (who also gave me the impression he was expecting me to pick it up from the shop ),so. Again I said j oh was not prepared to fit it myself and he did come out and fit if satisfactorily himself.
Also there had been a sizeable off cut left over from the fitting (which I asked the fitter to take away )but after thought it might come in handy if I had a bad stain on one of the steps etc . I rang the manager to see if it was possible to get the off cut back and he said it had been taken To the depo but would get it back and ring me when it was there .
I rang a few times in the following weeks and he just kept saying still waiting for it and will ring you when here . Predictably he hasn’t and I’ve given up all hope of ever seeing that off cut again !.
So in a nutshell would I recommend United carpets to anyone ?…
No quite definitely i will not 👎

UNITED CARPETS AND BED ARNOLD ..AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Honestly I don't know where to start!
I could literally write a book on this...
I have been completely ripped off by this company.
I have spent nearly £2k on LVT Flooring for my brand new home.
Please be aware united carpets use sub contractors which wasn't made clear to me on purchase!
The original fitter took longer than expected to fit the flooring which delayed my house move... which wasn't ideal but you know .. these things happen ..
Red flags started to appear instantly when I caught the fitter with a cigarette lit in my living room..bearing in mind this was a brand new build and I'm a non smoker with a young family.
Started to notice the flooring had starting to lift , which was actually spotted by the carpet fitter who was from a completely separate company.
Called united carpets who sent the fitter back... he came with his trust worthy mark hill hairdryer and superglue .. oh and don't forget the toilet roll to clear the residue .. which can I note it still stuck in the grooves of the flooring .
Yes you can imagine... made a mess of it and still had the lifting occurring in more places.
Rang united carpets again who noted that the fitter had left/quit and it was his issue not theirs! united carpets gave me his full details which included his home address! flabbergasted beyond belief that they shared this information with me ..
long story short.. I've had over 10 visits to my address to try and put this flooring in its correct order..I've had over 5 no shows of fitters who cannot communicate and do not show up when arranged. The store is completely useless .. Andrew the store manager is very unprofessional ..on one visit to the store I actually saw him legging it to the back room when he saw me approaching , apparently his partner who also works for this company uses the excuse of Andrew not liking confrontation so has removed himself.. Ive also asked for the owners contact details because apparently according to united carpets after sales... this is a franchise store and are unwilling to help resolve this situation. And can I just say they will still not give me the owners contact details yet she (her name is Marian which is all I know) is there putting in her two pence to the last fitter who turned up at my address trying to accuse me to the fitter of lifting the flooring myself! He also addmitted he had no experience or knowledge of fitting LVT Flooring and was only used to fitting carpets.
Honestly all I've wanted was a fully fitted LVT floor..this has been going on since February and I'm fully exhausted and still have an ill fitted lifting floor.
My phone number has been blocked by the store Manager Andrew.
I have dealt with so many companies lately with having a new build home, I've never dealt with this kind of unprofessionalism from a well known company.
Im still waiting on a reply from the after sales team which was over a week ago.. still no reply.
I have also gone out my way to contact another branch of united carpets store in Nottingham (lady bay) , who were very helpful and kind to me. I have explained to them my current situation and they have told me I have a year warranty on my flooring so the store needs to put it right. They have also offered to contact head office for me . After I had contacted this other store I sent a lengthy email to the after sales team which I didn't receive a reply and after a week I've been back in touch with the lady bay store and they have told me the owner has been in contact with them about me. I can't understand why the owner of united carpets Arnold can't pick up the phone to me to try and resolve these issues instead of contacting everyone else I've been in contact with ..baffles me beyond belief.
This store is hiding away from its problems, communication is shocking and if anything goes wrong be prepared to be blocked from contacting them .

Andrew from United Carpets in Arnold is lovely. Me and my husband had our new home measured. Andrew had our flooring fitted THAT AFTERNOON ( THURSDAY APRIL 13TH). Absolutely fabulous. The 2 chaps that came were fantastic 👏 👌. Friendly and Excellent service all round. Thoroughly recommended 👌
