Let down by subcontractor fitters
Good service from the shop, organised and great products but they were let down badly by the subcontractor fitters. Poor fitting of the floor and still not right after a revisit. Having to send photos of defects over to the shop prolongs the wait for a decent floor. Hopefully they will get it right on the third attempt. May update if things are sorted.

Sales team were great but went downhill…
Sales team were great but went downhill from there .....fitters came out said it was too big a job, didn't measure properly then a gentleman came & was very abrasive and condescending. Said it was a 3 man job then 1 lad turned up my husband had to help him carry a huge carpet roll up 3 flights stairs!! Such a shame as the guys in the shop are great but doubt I'll buy from there again.

The carpets are of the high quality I expected. The carpet fitter came on time and gave me the opportunity to hoover after old carpets were lifted. Fitting is perfect and he removed old carpets as arranged.

Excellent service from United Carpets both at showroom, delivery and fitting stages. Friendly, helpful staff and good selection of flooring. We are in the process of having several rooms redecorated and refurbished which is taking several months. This company has been very helpful because we were able choose and buy carpet and United have stored it until each room is ready. Much appreciated.

Worst experience ever in a carpet shop
We ordered an offcut of carpet which we selected and underlay plus fitting. When the carpet arrived with the fitters it was a different carpet of much inferior quality. The shop admitted that it was a different offcut and that they had a delivered a different one as the initial one had been sold for a second time. It was vital we had the carpet fitted that day due to family commitments so we visited the shop again and they came up with an inferior quality carpet but roughly the right colour. We had to accept with a small discount. The worst experience in a carpet shop I have ever had. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, the offcut you originally selected had been mistakenly sold twice, which should not have happened. We appreciate that this left you in a difficult position and that the replacement carpet we were able to provide on the day did not fully meet your expectations. While we did offer a discount, we understand that this did not make up for the inconvenience caused.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the mix-up and the stress it created. Your feedback is very important to us, and we are reviewing our processes to ensure this kind of error does not happen again.

Really easy process
Really easy process. In store were really helpful and helped with a colour match. Booked a fitter within a couple of weeks and fitter was extremely efficient and professional. Really easy from start to finish and would definitely return should be need anymore carpet.
