Trouble free process, was fitted when the said it would be

All the staff are freindly and helpfull
Fitters are careful and took the time to think about how the carpet would look the best when fitting

Buy cheap - get cheap customer care service - Doncaster branch-great while they were taking my money and making a sale however;
As a result of an unsuitable transition strip being used from kitchen floor tiles to hallway Lino, one of the kitchen tiles has cracked.
Spoke with manager John who got back to me and opened the phone all with "you're not going to like this but my manager - Mr. Johnathan Horgan says we didn't break the tile" - their use of the wrong strip did - the tile was not broken up to them doing their Lino fitting.
Emailed Mr. Horgan, politely asking if he would email or phone me to resolve the issue however, no response whatsoever.
They clearly have a right to reply to my comments however, I'd like to hear from the actual parent company to resolve this situation please and thank you.

Visited United carpets this morning wanting a small piece of artificial grass.As we are good customers the staff made us feel very welcome especially Phil who is a great asset to the company.The only piece available was in a lock up which they had to move vans and get at the forklift.without hesitation Phil went into action with his colleague making sure I left with the exact piece I wanted which was cut to the exact size and fits beautifully.once again Phil great service and friendly welcome see you again soon.

My wife and I had a good experience in the showroom, selected a carpet and underlay we decided to have new grippers and thresholds and it was all really professional we booked a fitting date and left the shop. A man came to measure up he was extremely late with no phone call to say he was going to be late. On the day of the fitting I was at work when got home I looked at the carpet and the fitting was a complete disaster. The stairs carpet wasn’t fitted tight against the risers the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the join on the landing was not even joined it was curled up at the corners. They hadn’t even fitted a new threshold under one door. I went to the shop to explain what had happened and again all very professional the manager said someone would be out on Monday to sort it out. On the Monday a man did come out had a look and said he would tell his manager and get back to us. That was 4 weeks ago I have received no call. Avoid this company at all costs.
