The service in store was fine
The service in store was fine. Friendly helpful salesman who we’ve been served by many times. The carpet fitters seemed quite inexperienced. The top stair of the carpet appears to be fitted incorrectly but not bad enough for us to phone and complain but it is noticeable. The living room carpet is fitted fine but walls were marked when they carried it in. We specifically asked for afternoon fitting and they arrived before 9am so work plans had to be quickly changed. I’m not sure we will return

Lovely family ran business
Lovely family ran business. We buy all our carpets from here, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Carpet ordered and fitted within a week, prompt installations and the 2 installers were very friendly, more than accommodating of my mess, as I’m renovating and helped me out too. The carpets are so soft, 2 months in teenagers messy rooms and carpets still feel fluffy like new

Really helpful staff
Really helpful staff. Didn’t mind the all of the lying down and turning over to get the right feel for the bed we wanted. Had a super king bed with zipnlink mattress and couldn’t be happier. That coupled with the very competitive prices… no brainer to choose these.
The delivery guys were really helpful too, got the bed upstairs and set up in no time.

Avoid due to contractors
Prices was decent and that’s about it, Steve wonder could have fitted the laminate better! Hardly any of the beading is actually fitted correctly and some of the laminate is loose. Paid a lot of money for a half done, lazy job. The guy who came to fit was a down right creep asking my mum to go back to his with him over WhatsApp. Do not use these people as the contractors they use are either creeps, rude or terrible at what they do! reason for two stars is because the carpets are good so I guess that’s two positive things.
I can’t remember the exact dates of fitting but it was in march this year

Mediocre
Had new carpets and laminate for our house, 4 rooms and hallway in total. Sorted us a nice price which I can't complain about but then it took so long for the contractors to come and fit them. I don't even think the bedroom carpets match what we asked for and ordered. The man that came to fit our laminate did an awful job, he half jobbed it and it got left for a couple of weeks because the hallway flooring had been damaged either by manufactures or during transport and now the rest has been fitted there's bits of the floor that have sunken lower than the rest and the beading isn't tacked down properly. Overall, wouldn't use the company again anytime soon, too much of a faff about whilst trying to move house with 2 children.

Very helpful in the warehouse and a wide range of carpets to choose from.a misunderstanding with the fitting date but that was resolved and the fitter’s arrived later the arranged day and did a good job.the quality of the carpet was excellent for the price.highly satisfied

Poor customer service
When I ordered the carpet and booked fitting, I explained there was a wardrobe in the room and would need moving. They said it wouldn't be a problem. They sent just one fitter who tried to move the wardrobe and in doing so the wardrobe got broken. I contacted the store to be told that someone would call me back. No one has. So while I may have a nice carpet, I have a broken wardrobe! Shocking fitters, shocking after care.

Excellent from start to finish.
From start to finish, the guys at United Carpets and Beds made the whole experience a breeze. George (I think his name is) who measured up was friendly and professional. I picked my carpets the day after his visit and they were being fitted two days after that. Speedy and efficient service. The fitters were brilliant, down to earth and the best in the business. I’ll be choosing these guys again, again, and again.
