Still waiting for my carpet to be fitted. Bought and paid for 1st August... it is now 12th September... not heard anything. Called into the shop a few weeks ago but it hadn't come in from abroad. Would be great to hear from them..

Sales customer service was fine. But carpet fitting was really poor .

Polite hard working staff and good quality carpets.
Only issue was wrong carpet delivered first so had to wait for another carpet which cost over
£200 more.

United Carpets and beds were exceptional in their service, not only did they help me to view what was appropriate for my needs but also gave me time to get a good look at what I decided was a good match. They are brilliant from the moment you step into the store. Very quick and simple for ordering and just great customer service.

Unfortunately had to have my carpets and LVT re-fitted after a major water leak and, United Carpets in Mansfield were great and managed to get things sorted quickly.

I have been getting my carpets from here for many years and have always found the staff to be really helpful and polite. There's plenty of choice and they will always try to arrange fitting when it's best for me. The fitters this time were brilliant, I am very happy with my carpet and the customer service at the store and at home.

Disappointed on the day of carpet fitting as communication between the shop staff and fitters was not clear and no one was able to accept the responsibility. I was made to wait for approximately 3 hours before the fitters arrived as the start time was not properly communicated. The overall finished job was excellent.

My first visit in shop went smoothly and the gentleman who helped was really good & very efficient. My second visit was a nightmare due to the Sales Man getting all the measurements wrong. I had to take a day off of work to be told that we didn’t have enough flooring. I then had to back to the shop and pay an extra £330 due to the Sales Man’s mistake.

I liked the customer service from United Carpets but did not have a good floor fitting experience with the floor fitters. First of all another customer's flooring was laid down until I noticed and pointed it out. United Carpets was blamed for giving them the wrong flooring but actually there were two different types in their van. Secondly, while the correct flooring was being fitted, one of the floor fitters continuously swore and complained about how it was a nightmare cutting the floorboards to fit around the stairs and skirting board and how he had made a mess of it. The corner pieces of the trim around the skirting board have not been stuck on properly and are now loose. I was told this would be rectified. Lastly, after the floor was fitted and they had left, I realised they had left all the rubbish including the cut up pieces of flooring and an empty Red Bull can on my front lawn! When I phoned United Carpets they sent the floor fitter back to dispose of the rubbish but he complained about having to return to clean up their mess. This wasn't what I had expected and the corner pieces that have come off have still not been fixed.

Polite, helpful, considerate staff at the Mansfield Woodhouse branch, made choosing my bedroom carpet a pleasure. The carpet is just what I was looking for and makes my bedroom look great, it feels so cosy and soft under my feet. With the carpet fitter doing such an excellent job, with no fuss, no mess, but so much experience, at their prices, I have no hesitation in recommending you try United Carpets before anywhere else. I know from experience that they are good hard wearing carpets that last.

Purchase and sales experience was ok, decent selection and staff helpful in making a decision etc

Price I think was competitive but flooring doesn’t come cheap these days

Delivery of flooring took awhile but out of their hands I guess

Fitting was ok but because it was a big job they did it in bits, which wasn’t the best if I’m honest

The vinyl flooring had some issues, some to do with my build and some with the actual fit itself

So I have had to call the fitter back a couple of times to fix issues but he did come, albeit sporadically due to his workload

I’d say the flooring looks good and I’ve had lots of positive comments from people about how it looks

Overall I’ve no real issues and would recommend this store and staff

My floor was done very professionally. Had issue with kickboards but sorted with no hassle. Love my floor.

Brilliant carpet fitter very pleasant guy I think is name was Kenny he will be fitting our carpets in the future. Also the person in the shop was very helpful. *****

I bought a piece of the ridged door matting that I could cut down to the shape of my entrance at my back door. It comes in a 2 metre width and I bought 1 metre. It wasn’t until I got home and unrolled it that I realised it was of the wrong orientation, (the lines should be horizontal across the doorway).
Thinking that it was different to that on the roll I had chosen it from, I returned to the store and after checking the roll on display realised that it was completely my fault so started to leave the store.
One of the sales assistants asked if he could help me and I replied not as I had messed up big time buying a piece of door matting which is of the wrong orientation. He could see I was devastated and asked if I had it with me and I said it was in my car.
He asked me to fetch it and then proceeded to cut me a new piece which met my needs.
This was a lovely gesture and I cannot thank him enough.

The original carpet i ordered was not in stock, took a while to tell me that. The store did not make it clear that the old carpets needed to be removed. The fitter came in (early) with an attitude (swearing) and barged upstairs after my asking him to give me a minute (twice) as I had, having just got out of the shower. I don't blame the fitter it must be frustrating arriving to a job to have to do more than planned. The information is in tiny print on the back of the invoice. It needs to be stated clearly! The staff in the shop were quite polite and helpful

Always use united carpets. Have done for years they are friendly .Good quality and prices . All staff very welcoming and friendly not pushy . Carpet fitter Keith? He was excellent as well very patient and experienced took his time didn't rush.cleaned up. Thanks to all

bux us hedge with van didn’t have the decency to tell me fitted carpet made a good job to be fair found the hedge about an hour later contacted the firm they weren’t interested as fitter a subbie still no resolution
