We have no received our carpet which was paid for on the 1st October and was told we could have it fitted the next week and they would ring when it was in store, after 2 weeks we called into the store and were advised it would be here on the 28th October, on that date I got a phone call saying that it would be available on the 11th November we have been back to the store again today and it's still not arrived and now being told it might be next week

No problems with measuring and estimate first class was advised it would take approximately 1week once I ordered and paid took over 3 weeks no problems with fitting again first class very professional efficient and tidy just let down with comunacating with shop assistant

I must say it is so comfy and finishes the room off nicely. Toby assisted us with the purchase -10/10- Highly recommend

Overall very good customer service. Had good guidance and help in choosing material and also when they came to measure. Ordering to laying the carpet was a smooth process. Good prices as well. Shop at Preston is open for longer hours in comparison to some others which was also very helpful. Slight issues with phones not being manned properly during busy hours so have had to ring few times to contact, but they were quite helpful when i managed to speak to them. So far very Happy customer.

We are very pleased with our purchase from United Carpets and Beds. From initial enquiry to delivery everything went smoothly. They were very reasonably priced and offer NHS discount. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The fitter did not do a good job. They cut my laminate flooring by trying to cut the carpet
Also the carpet was fitted like apprentice would have done that not happy at all will not buy again and definitely will not recommend you to anyone instead ill spread the word how bad my experience was! Very disappointed for the amount of money i paid!

The carpet choice was good, the prices were right and the fitters were excellent. Two carpets down and look great. Happy to recommend to anyone. We will be back again soon.

Although im still waiting for a carpet to arrive at the store i cannot fault the customer service. Excellent service. Fitters were great. One bedroom carpet came small so had to re order. It still has not been delivered and its been a few weeks of waiting. I was told delivery comes in on Tuesday but dont know if my carpet will arrive…. Still waiting. Update.. i rang the store today (05 March 2025) and was told it might arrive in March 13 2025. But still can not guarantee it will arrive. I really hope it does as i only have underlay in the bedroom and need to unpack and can not do that until i have the carpet. I need to get the rest of the furniture in to my room. Fingers crossed..

Everything was wrong from start. Gave our own measurements the boss at shop said not to worry when placing order as they allow and give additional 10cm extra for fitting. The carpet fitters came with the carpet with 4cm short and cut and pasted left over bits to patch up. The fitting is so bad, it’s all crease and bumps everywhere. They also fitted the carpet with shoes on, without any shoe covers/ protectors. When mentioned they didn’t have any left, not very professional. We have no shoes policy it was bad practice and disturbingly unhygienic to our new carpet as they were going in and out the house while fitting the new carpet.

Sadly the shop never honoured their word of extra 10cm carpet they mentioned at ordering and taking payment and said it was our fault for not measuring properly and brushed their carpet fitters under the carpet as they said they are independent fitters which we had to pay them cash separately on the day.

I bought a great deep mattress from here which was a brilliant price - very comfortable. The mattress was much cheaper than other stores in Preston yet still good quality. I also had a stair carpet fitted. The shop floor staff were professional and knowledgeable, ensuring I got what I was looking for at a great price. The carpet fitter did an outstanding job today, his work was flawless. I am very happy with this company and would definitely use again. Thank you.

Rip off, they say fitting is free but it isn't and you have to pay for fitters with cash when they arrive. So little bit dodgy.
