Fitters not reliable. Don't pay till job is complete.
The shop and staff were lovely but the fitter they used was not reliable. Did a good job putting flooring down but then left us to collect and fit the door strip say shop will cut it into shape. Which they couldn't as no tools kept in store. We tried but were not able to as had to be shaped around the door frame. Took us nearly 2 weeks to arrange for him to come back and complete the job. Told us would come first thing so arrange other workmen around him but didn't show up. He also came late when initially fitting the floor so was in a rush to leave I guess. Unfortunately we trusted him and paid assuming he's working on behalf of United Carpet.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We were really disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with the service provided regarding your door bar.
Our team work very hard to ensure every customer has a great experience, and on the rare occasion that something does go wrong, we take steps to ensure that this is rectified as speedily as possible.
Throughout your project we were in contact with the lady who placed the order to discuss when the project would be completed and to ensure that you were happy throughout. Unfortunately, there was a small delay when the independent fitter was unwell and unable to attend, however we did complete the work as quickly as possible. As an apology we did provide the replacement door bar free of charge.
We have also since spoken with the order contact again to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the service, and they confirmed that they were.
We will take your feedback on board and I hope that you are assured by the steps we have taken that we greatly value your custom.

Purchased a lounge and bedroom carpet, great value for money, the guy in store was helpful without being pushy, the fitters were great, very happy. The carpets look lovely.

Good experience all through
Plenty of time to browse and think through with advice where needed. I bought an end of roll for a small bedroom and there was lots of choice at very good prices. All bought and fitted within a week. The fitter was really friendly and did a great job. Very positive experience.

Highly recommend …
Couldn't have been happier with the service. The fitters were friendly, respectful and did an excellent job of fitting carpet and flooring on my bedroom, stairs and kitchen. The shop staff were not pushy, gave great advice and were helpful. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Helpful sales staff and efficient fitting
Helpful sales staff and not pushy, East to arrange delivery and customer service was brilliant, the lady on the phone got back to me straight away when I called with a query about delivery and fitting. Fitters were very fast, friendly and tidied up after themselves. We've used united carpets before and will use again. Also can't be beaten on price.

I was told lies saying the bed was…
I was told lies saying the bed was going to be 6 months stuck in middle of know were and ended up going to Rotherham for same bed which was delivered in less than a month. I fully recommend using Rotherham branch as I also got 10% taken from original price service was great

Very good customer service in the shop…
Very good customer service in the shop and also from the Lino fitters - they kept us up to date all the time and were very honest about having to do a layer of scree to make the Lino lie better. Also had a follow up call from the shop to see how everything had gone. Considering using them for kitchen floor as a result of the good experience we’ve had.

Just moved into a new house
Just moved into a new house. Had all new skirting boards fitted and painted only for them to be completely wrecked. The carpet itself is amazing quality and we love it and I get some marks may get left but there wasn’t even a 30cm space where it hadn’t been scratched, chipped or scuffed. Had to resend and paint it was that bad. Rang to complain but got nowhere

The fitter reported that he then tried to call you numerous times in the days following to try to resolve this issue, but was unfortunately unable to get in touch.
