Wonderful experience, Ben was amazing. He was very helpful, answered all of our questions and never made us feel pressured into making a decision. He was patient, knowledgable and took the time to make sure we were happy with everything. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We would definitely recommend both the dealership and Ben to anyone looking to buy a car. Thank you again Ben ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When we had contact with staff it was very good. All very professional. From initial contact to leaving ended up taking over three hours. That’s the frustrating bit.
We got the car we wanted but considering we were paying cash, there was no wriggle room on price which was a bit disappointing. We’ve never been in a position to pay cash for a car before. We’re both nearly 60.
The car itself is brilliant although no evidence of previous servicing (new in 2023) was provided - taking somewhat of a risk! Surely if it was a lease car they could give us a digital record somehow?
The final thing which I have pointed out directly is that the inspection report appears to be standardised and is probably what you give to every buyer?
We bought a Hyundai Kona petrol car and the following were “passed” even though the car doesn’t have them!
The ones we picked out were:
* Diesel particulate filter — marked as checked/passed, despite the Kona being the 1.0 T-GDi MHEV petrol.
* Panoramic roof — the car doesn’t have one.
* Sunroof / convertible roof operation — again, no sunroof.
* Roof blind — no panoramic/sunroof blind fitted.
* Automatic gearbox changes / kickdown — ours is a manual.
* Automatic gearbox Park function — impossible on your manual gearbox.
* Automatic gearbox Sport function — likewise.
* Steering-wheel paddle controls — the car doesn’t have automatic-gearbox paddles.
* Power-steering fluid level — this Kona uses electric power steering, so there isn’t a conventional PAS-fluid reservoir to inspect.
* Headlamp washers — marked as checked even though our Kona doesn’t have them.
Makes me very concerned that these Inspections are not even done?
So there was some elements of risk taken in deciding to buy this car for my wife.
Wanted to make people aware of this because there are concerns there! I just hope we’ve got a good car 🙏

The service at the Hinckley branch was sadly appalling. If you like feeling as though your custom doesn’t matter and prefer an impersonal buying experience, then this might be the place for you. However, as someone buying a car outright for thousands of pounds, I would have appreciated a much more personal touch. I will never buy a car from Hinckley again. The only saving grace was Dean, who sorted out the paperwork at the end—he is the sole reason I gave two stars instead of one.
Since then, I have visited the Stoke branch for additional support, and the team there is amazing! I really wish I had bought my car from them instead. A full five stars for the Stoke branch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely disappointing experience — £42,000 purchase
Everything was great during the initial phone conversations, and I made sure to plan my journey carefully. I travelled from Belfast to Hinckley and had a 6.5-hour drive to Scotland afterwards for an 11:30pm ferry. I was assured that after paying the £299 holding deposit and £20,000 upfront, the remaining £20,000 would be taken at 1pm on arrival.
Unfortunately, the payment was delayed on V12’s side, leaving me waiting for over 6.5 hours. Despite spending £42,000, there was very little communication or support during this time.
When the car finally came out, it was absolutely filthy, not properly washed or valeted, with marks/scuffs and a chipped windscreen. I had also paid an additional £300 for ceramic coating, but based on the condition and presentation of the vehicle, I have serious concerns that this service was not carried out.
The delays ultimately caused me to miss my £240 ferry. Despite explaining the situation, I was repeatedly told that there was nothing they could do and that I should contact head office.
The most disappointing part was the lack of ownership and accountability. One manager privately acknowledged that the situation was unacceptable, yet responsibility was ultimately passed elsewhere.
For a £42,000 purchase, I expected a completely different level of service, communication and preparation. I had even recommended V12 to my brother, who was considering a £40,000 Mercedes V-Class, but following my experience he will now be looking elsewhere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service from V12 Sports and Classics!
I have been a loyal customer of V12 Sports and Classics for the past 12 years, and their service has always been exceptional.
A big thank you to Riaz and Zoe for their excellent guidance and support in helping me choose my Jaguar I-PACE EV. Special thanks to the Hinckley branch manager, Naomi (Worksop branch manager), and Mia from the administration team for their professionalism and assistance.
A very special thank you to Hayley Macleod from the after-sales care department for her outstanding support, communication and coordination with EV Tech Blackburn regarding my vehicle.
The entire team has gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, both before and after sales.
I have recommended V12 Sports and Classics to my family and friends and will continue to do so. Their service deserves more than 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you to the entire V12 team for your continued support and dedication over the past 12 years.

This company is terrible. They are really friendly until you pay the money and then aftersales don’t answer the phone and there is no direct phone number for the garage. They promise things during the sale e.g. we’ll fix this and look at that - and really they just take the money and that’s it. Edit - after seeing their reply below - we did contact aftersales and went back to the garage twice to sort out our car - both times with appointments “booked in” by aftersales at a specific time (driving 45 mins to get there each time). First time nobody knew we were coming so couldn’t do anything and the second time we were made to wait 4 hours and nothing was done - with one salesperson saying “the paint is just curing” then an hour later “it was never painted” and another salesperson said “we don’t even have a painter here”. All just lies.
Edit - since my first review - our brakes are now squeaking and I’ve read from other reviews they got cars with illegal pads in.
If you do decide to buy from them, check everything and understand that any money you save you may need to pay out to get the car fixed later. Make sure you have floor mats, a spare key, wheel nut as these are things that were missing. None of this was made clear to us at the point of sale - and they really push you to take the car the same day. Check all of the buttons inside the car. Check the tyres yourself and the brakes. There is also no fuel in the cars when you pick them up and a very expensive petrol station nearby.

I recently purchased a new car from V12 Hinckley as I’d had one from there before and had no issues with it up until I sold it. By the looks of it I should have checked the trust pilot reviews first!
On the day of driving the car home I noticed that the steering wheel wasn’t central, so I contacted the salesman I’d dealt with immediately and he told me to call the dealership, so I went there. They advised I get a diagnostic to show the fault, the diagnostic showed that the alignment was majorly off! I had this fixed and they refunded the money within a few days. Also, had to have the car valeted again whilst there because the car stunk of cigarettes and I don’t smoke.
When having the alignment sorted the mechanic asked me if I was aware the car had been in an accident, I said pardon? He showed me that the front grill was cracked and that the VW badge was hanging off. When he took the badge off it wasn’t genuine, it was from China.
I then went back to V12 a week later after a family member had noticed that one of my indicators didn’t light up completely due to a crack in the strip. I went back to the dealership and spoke with a lady who called the services department and she advised me to get it replaced at VW parkway.
I had this fixed and had VW send the invoice to V12 directly on the 18th of September, I have spoken to a sales rep numerous times who had confirmed the money was refunded back to me. Lone behold almost two weeks later I’ve received nothing, convenient since I’m out of the cooling off period now.
And finally, when I purchased the car I noticed my name wasn’t spelt correctly on the screen when applying for my V5, so I said that’s not my full name and that it’s on my licence in front of you. A week later, I received my V5 and my full name wasn’t on the paper!
All in all, I’ve wasted my time with these lot and would never buy a car from them again.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with this dealership.
I paid a deposit for the car after being told that the road tax would be 200, that the car would be fully charged, and that it would come with two keys. I was also told the car would be ready for collection on Wednesday.
When I arrived to collect the car, it was not ready as promised. I was then informed that the road tax would actually be over £600. On top of this, the car was not charged and only came with one key instead of the two I was assured it would have.
I raised these issues with the manager, who acknowledged that there had been a “miscommunication” on their side.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but these were important details that directly affected my decision to proceed with the purchase and my expectations when arriving to collect the vehicle. I would expect clear and accurate information to be provided before taking a deposit and arranging collection.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I expected.

The sales guy was was great Reeco, not pushy beyond what they have to offer. The process is lengthy but we have a car we're very pleased with, our second purchase from V12. My really big criticism is the lack of parking for customers.

If you value your sanity and health, avoid this garage.
We have just experienced THREE MONTHS of HELL , after purchasing a 2 year old EV with only 11000 miles, unknowingly it also came with a catastrophic fault making it unfit for purpose.
*This EV wouldn’t change on our brand newly home charger, or any other home charger we tried belonging to multiple neighbours*
Yet our neighbours’ cars would all charge on our newly fitted charger.
Octopus Energy sent out their Chief Engineer, he proved our charger was working perfectly.
Obviously, the fault therefore MUST be the car, BUT not according to V12.
All our findings and witness statements were dismissed.
V12 insisted we must produce a diagnostic fault code before accepting this car had a home charging issue.
Nissan cannot replicate a home charging fault at their standard dealerships, as they don’t have a home charger facility set up.
We had FIVE visits to our nearest Nissan (an hour round trip plus waiting time each visit) and an ALL DAY wait with the car at a Nissan dealership when on holiday in Norfolk.
We cannot begin to tell you how many stressful HOURS AND HOURS were spent on this issue.
As others have said, it can TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE and become the equivalent of a full-time job.
We felt wholly unsupported and alone.
We had made a major purchase from a garage who continually refused to accept accountability that the EV would not charge at home.
Eventually, after an incredibly stressful 2.5 months, the fault was FINALLY CONFIRMED by Nissan, not with the demanded diagnostic fault code - but from videos we had provided from multiple visits to multiple EV owning neighbours showing our car failing to charge.
Simply video demonstrations confirming what we had been telling V12 all along.
If only we had been believed, it would have saved our summer, which was ruined by carrying this huge problem ourselves with NO TANGIBLE SUPPORT from V12.
V12 made the “burden of proof” entirely ours, despite this EV demonstrating this problem within the first 30 days, which was as soon as we had had our HOME charger fitted.
This car had an ON BOARD CHARGER FAILURE, meaning it was NEVER going to home-charge, despite all our continued efforts.
This part (on board charger) was on backorder with no date provided, so despite fighting so incredibly hard for this car, we reluctantly had to hand it back.
After the car had been collected, we were assured on three separate occasions the funds were being returned to us, via Sage and BACS, taking 3-5 days - however the date of the refund changed THREE times and the refund DID NOT arrive.
It was only when we mentioned that our solicitor required PROOF OF REMITTANCE, that the refund was eventually received in our bank account.
This proof of remittance showed that the funds had actually ONLY JUST been sent by fast payment.
(not the 3-5 day BACS we were awaiting as had previously been confirmed three times the previous week)
We finally received our refund 13 days after the car had been collected - it was 3 months and 1 day since making the purchase.
Interestingly, the remittance receipt also showed the refund had only been authorised that VERY SAME day ( after I had phoned tracking down our refund).
So the THREE previous payment date confirmations could not have been true.
This whole experience was a BRUTALLY TROUBLING time for us, when we least needed it.
Crucially we never received a genuine apology, just one of those “we are sorry if we have caused any inconvenience” meaningless ones.
Our review above is a VERY BRIEF version of our fight to hold V12 accountable for selling us an EV with a catastrophic fault.
We have given them a chance to review our case, and they stand by their actions.
Read all of 1* reviews
Our advice would be to spend your money elsewhere and save yourselves the potential trauma.
