Products seem to be good but the shipping costs are way too high

Cela fait plusieurs années que je commande les vêtements de mes enfants sur Verbaudet.com. La qualité y est vraiment. En cas de soucis, le service clientèle répond vite et se penche vraiment sur le cas.

Superbe! C’est ma deuxième commande en 2 semaines. Des que j’ai eu reçu les premiers pyjamas commandé je me suis empressé d’en commander d’autres pour mon autres fils.

In Dec 2023, my mom gave me money to buy dresses on Envie de Fraise as a Christmas present. I placed the order, found the dresses didn't fit, and went to the website to process the return. However, Vert Baudet had bought Envie de Fraise. The original website ceased to exist and Vert Baudet did not have a record of my order. I contacted Vert Baudet's customer service on January 7th for help, and they gave me Envie de Fraise's customer service email so I could get the return label and get my refund.

I received a response from Envie de Fraise on Jan 9th, and they sent me the return label and told me my refund would be processed once the package was returned. I shipped the package and waited. After not hearing a response for two weeks, I followed up a few times but never received a reply. So I contacted Vert Baudet again for help.

Vert Baudet then told me that any orders placed on EDF before Dec 31st no longer existed, and since they didn't have access to EDF's data, they could not process any returns/refunds, and that from Jan 1st EDF ceased to exist. If this is true, it's a complete breakdown in communication. I contacted Vert Baudet on Jan 7th and was told to message EDF, and received a reply from them (and a return label!) AFTER Jan 1st. So it was only after I sent my package that I did not receive any further help. I was not offered store credit, or any kind of compensation.

The kicker is that Vert Baudet is still selling these dresses from EDF, so not only will they not pay me back, they've kept the inventory! Making this effectively theft. Now I have to tell my mom that the Christmas gift money she sent me has been spent, but I don't even have the dresses to show for it. Absolutely awful customer experience.

At no point was I told that this would happen -- no communication from EDF or Vert Baudet that I would cease to hear from the original retailer. I made the purchase in good faith that my refund would be honoured. And when you buy a company, you accrue their debts too, so I find it extremely unreasonable that Vert Baudet will not find a way to make this right.

A disappointing and frustrating experience all around.

I've been looking a lot for maternity dresses that are both modest and made of cotton or other natural fabrics and I was very happy to find the site. But the shipping is unusually expensive

Excellent selection of kids' clothes and accessories - reasonably priced for what appears to be good quality.
Entering address information is a bit of a nightmare - the site's format rearranges the address details like house number and street name, and seems to auto-lose or auto-add characters, like in the post code and phone number. This is not a unique situation; for instance, Canada Post and FedEx websites also have this kind of problem - I think it has something to do with the way different countries write their address formats.

J'ai voulu changer mon adresse de livraison et me faire livrer en France Métropolitaine. Impossible. Le pays FRANCE n'est pas référencé dans la liste des pays où la livraison se fait !!! Je téléphone et (ce n'est pas la première fois), je tombe sur un standard qui ne parle qu'en anglais. Là on me conseille de faire un mail où j'explique mon problème et ma question n'est pas comprise et l'on me dit d'aller dans mon compte et de sélectionner le pays de livraison alors que dans mon mail j'expliquais que la FRANCE n'était pas dans la liste des pays sélectionnable.... .
Résultat, j'ai dû faire livrer dans un autre pays avec des frais de douane en supplément à la réception du colis. C'est ma dernière commande sur VERBAUDET.

Why two pair of pajamas with low rating review when you can give better quality with one pair. The reviews were very skimpy with little real info. All went so fast have no idea how to return.

Love the cloths, the quality is amazing.
2 things I'm a bit disappointed with:
Girls size's are on the small, lean side. I wish they would go up to 16, 18. I have a tall and roundish 10yo and she loves your cloths but all the girls cloths size 12/14 are too tight and small for her. we ordered her PJ's this year and a pack of turtle necks from the boys section, but I fear this will be the last purchase she can get from your company.
Also, I expected bigger November sale discounts. a bit bummed over that...
