Vidday.com was user-friendly and that's coming from someone who is not tech savvy at all. I didn't use all of the options vidday.com provided, such as sending emails to participants, which probably would have made the whole project even simpler. I had already contacted people to send in videos, so I only used vidday.com to put everything together. It was a simple drag and drop process. Pricing was reasonable and I liked how they offered one free edit after it was processed. Though at that point I was done and didn't want to make any changes. My only complaint was that on some videos, which were in portrait view, there was no background on the sides. Contacted Customer Service, who was very prompt and helpful, but the background slides rotate and there's not really a way to ensure certain videos get backgrounds that complement them evenly, if that makes sense. The main objective was obtained, a surprised and happy recipient.

Working with Vidday was amazing! The process is easy and very straightforward. I would recommend using this company for any of your needs as they have great customer service and a wonderful and helpful team.

I was asked to contribute to a friends video and thought it would be a great idea for my friends 50th. It´s easy to organise and just makes the whole process easy. My friend loved it.

This was my first time using a company like this. I was very pleased with how easy it was to navigate through your program. To selecting contacts, to uploading pictures, videos, & even vice messages. The drag & drop feature to arrange the videos was really great, too. I love that you allow your customer to really customize the video to make it very personable. Then if, I had any questions, you support team was on top of it. Thank you guys so much. Will definitely be using you for future gifts, and will also be referring people.

Wonderful tool. Very easy to use and delivers you results in 30 min max. Great presentation in the end and a few other smart additional tools that help your close ones that are far away be part of your celebration ( like recording a “thank you” video and gifting options ).

I have used Vidday for years now celebrations, memorials and more. The convenience and ease in the creation of these presentations makes planning during these times so much easier. And what an awesome keepsake for all!

I loved the Vidday experience for many reasons, and more importantly, my spouse the birthday girl was floored by all the loving sentiments and images people posted for her special day. Vidday is extremely flexible and adaptable for nearly every purchase option you’ll need to think of. The base package allows great communications and posting options, renders a streaming preview montage / slideshow extremely fast for editing, and then produces a final product with several refining touches. The chat bot feature was the most efficient I’ve ever used (apologies if it was actually humans we interacted with several times, but that proves my point), and offered tons of insights at all hours. The best part is sharing the final video with contributors at the end, which is heart-warming and delightful.

Vidday is the real deal!! The video turned out exactly as I wanted. Daniel and Dominique were so amazing! They were patient and provided all the answers to my questions. They also had such a good sense of humor. I had such a great experience with Vidday. This is my forever go-to for the future.

Absolutely marvelous finished products! Most of all, VidDay has marvelous technical support along the way; you are never on your own. The tech team answers instantly during business hours, and each technician is top-notch, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I was putting together a video for my father-in-law's 80th birthday and was having a hard time collecting videos and photos from all of our family members around the world. I didn't have much time to put the video together either, but fortunately I discovered VidDay right in the middle of my stress!

My husband and I were just able to send links to VidDay to family members and they started uploading their videos and photos on their own. This saved me the stress of trying to collect and collate everyone's media. I was able to edit the order of photos and videos right inside VidDay and add music, and within a day of receiving everyone's submission, I was done! It created the best birthday gift and because of VidDay, I was able to deliver it just in time! Truly a lifesaver, and it allowed us to give a great gift that everyone was able to enjoy. Will definitely use again!

I don't know of other companies that provide this service, so can't really compare. Overall, the product is wonderful and it was fairly easy to accomplish that. I do have a couple of caveats, however. I recommend not using their "Quality Control Check." I didn't mind paying the extra $20, but someone, or a robot, trimmed beginnings and endings that I did not want trimmed, having already made a good version. They deleted the "happy" on "happy birthday" at the beginning of one video, and "we love you" at the end of another. I spent hours re-doing it after they reversed those at my request. Also, there was no one available to Chat with in the evenings on Pacific time.

VidDay made simple work of creating a written and video invite to request submissions. From these it was easy to create and edit a beautiful collage of video, audio and text wishes for my parents' 60th anniversary, including background music from VidDay's library or by uploading your own choices. The site is user friendly
and responses to the few questions I had were answered promptly. Thanks, VidDay, for helping me
give my parents a very special gift! I highly recommend this site.

We contributed to a friend's 60th tribute so I knew I wanted to do this for my wife's 50th. I reached out to my friend for guidance, and it solidified my decision to use Vidday (I was looking at two apps). As my wife said, this is the BEST GIFT EVER. She laughed. She cried. She cried from laughing. I thought the process was easy & intuitive. It was fun to view each video as they were submitted. Moving the videos and photos around so in the order of my choosing was easy as was selecting background music. My friend also gave me advice to do the opening video to set the stage and to do the closing video as well. I asked for advice through the chat feature several times and that was helpful, and I did a view previews before submitting for final. The video was Oscar Award winning at 2 hours and 22 minutes, including over 100 video entries and tons of photos-a memory for life! Highly recommend!

I was looking to make a surprise birthday video for my grandma for her 80th. A friend recommended Vidday, I trusted him and I’m truly happy about the service. I was able to gather many videos from all the family and turn it into a +45 min video. Everything was smooth and my grandma loved her video sooo much!!! She cried and watched it over and over. Definitely use Vidday to make a birthday video!

I really loved the concept of VidDay and it ultimately created a video that was a fun surprise for my husband, but I absolutely hated the app. I'm quite proficient with other video editing apps and could have almost just as easily done it for way less in one of those. I had to exit out of it almost every
time I went to edit orders of photos since it would often freeze or select several photos, and the unselecting would just not work. I also didn't like having to select an action for each photo for timing it would play for.

Sending out invites via email and keeping track of them didn't work for me when I tried uploading the list, and I ended up sending out a giant email instead and then had to keep track of who I had contacted on Facebook since I didn't have emails for quite a few people. There were a few people who couldn't figure out how the site worked or the link wouldn't open for them that I had to get to send video clips to me to add anyways.

When I finally put my video together (sadly at the last minute since I was still waiting for people to contribute) after meticulously trying to have things in a certain order, there were still photos that had moved from a lot farther in the slideshow.

I think for this occasion it was worth it, but if I was doing something similar again I definitely wouldn't pay as much as I did for it. Would it be worth it for people who are less tech savvy....maybe if there was a lot you didn't care about for style and order of videos and music, and if you had your own way of tracking who you had sent it to?

Vidday is fantastic! It is clear, intuitive, and easy to use. The site offers helpful suggestions and the emails offer just the right amount of communication. I highly recommend.

I couldn't figure out exporting/sharing a video (I accidently killed the final product) and the customer service person helps me out super fast!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE!
