I ordered a 20 year old vintage wine which was unfortunately corked. Katharine from vintage wines straight away arranged a replacement once I had explained the issue.
Fantastic service.

Both my orders in 2026 went wrong. The first, they sorted the problem. The second, they haven’t even tried! Two weeks later, there is no delivered item or refund yet. Avoid if you want reliability. I found that WineDancer and SoDivin were good alternatives for shipping vintage wine

I had received the wine I wanted recently, and I was very happy, but I'm giving it three stars. Here's why: after I placed an order based on the website's prices and shipping costs, they contacted me saying that the shipping costs had increased several times over. I had to give up some of the gift boxs in exchange for a shipping discount. The delivery was very slow, which I knew was the problem with the courier company. When I received it, the packaging was intact, indicating the packing staff were careful.
However, one of the bottles had a leak. It was a new bottle refilled from an older one, and its cap was a regular aluminum cap instead of a cork. The cap on this newly refilled bottle wasn't completely tightened. I'm not sure if therefilling process was done by machine or by manual; I could easily tighten it more by hand by about 1/8 of a turn, which was probably the cause of leakage. Although the leakage wasn't much, it's conceivable that the wine's quality would be affected. What a real shame.

My husband received a port gift from this company for Christmas. He was dissapointed that the vintage port had been decanted into a small bottle and it looked tiny in such a large box. He said the port tasted musty. Nice notes that came with the bottle saves it from a 1 star review.

Exceptional gift, beautifully presented. It seems a shame that a few of the negative reviews are regarding delivery and not the fault of the vendor at all. Also, some complain of corked bottles, they do have a more than reasonable replacement or refund policy. Vintage wines can have their faults! I am delighted with the product and service and couldn’t recommend them more.

Rang this company after reading the mixed reviews and was completely comfortable ordering from them after speaking to them .. the product turned up as promised on the day I requested and in a beautiful gift box throughly recommend this company

Seller advertises on Ebay items he doesn't have in stock. Let me down for a very important occasion. Probably realised he had under valued it.

It was our 40th wedding anniversary so I bought my husband a bottle wine from the year we married. Arrived in a lovely wooden gift box with various accessories - thermometer, foil cutter, cork screw, and wine pourer.

Unfortunately the wine was corked, but when I emailed their customer care I was treated with the utmost courtesy and without having to return the wine - or even the cork - they agreed to replace the bottle. I was offered various options and my chosen wine arrived the next day - and is wonderful! I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Anywhere that i can source Haig Gold Label Scotch Whisky gets five stars in my book.

Very happy with my vintage wine purchase selected next day delivery and it came the next day. I made an error with my message on the giftcard so I emailed Vintage Wine Gifts and they responded very quickly and resolved my issue right away. The gift box and accessories make it such an amazing gift. Do not let the older bad reviews put you off ordering from this company.

Presentation box arrived marked, I emailed customer service and they sent out a new box for me which arrived the next day. I haven't tried the wine yet as it's a gift so can't comment on that but was really impressed with the customer service I received- thank you!

I ordered this bottle of port on Sunday 28th August, on line.
I was concerned about delivery times, so I paid an extra £4.99 to have it delivered expeditiously, and at a relatively precise time.
It was to be a very important present for a favour done for me.
The bottle did not arrive as contracted yesterday.
I had conflicting e mails from DPD saying I’d requested delivery today, which was nonsense.
Another one said it couldn’t be delivered as proof of age couldn’t be provided, which equally was nonsense, as I waited at home for the package to arrive.
Extremely disappointed I rang your customer services yesterday, and spoke to a lady. I explained the situation and asked for a full refund. She accepted that that would be appropriate.
I was thoroughly disappointed, as the selected port would have been entirely appropriate for the situation. I travelled to my destination yesterday evening, obviously port-less and struggling to think of a contingency.
This morning I’ve had a message from my home. The port has been delivered. It was left on the doorstep, and no signature required. The delivery driver didn’t even knock.
I gave instructions for the package to be unwrapped. There is no sign of the extras that were to come with the bottle, e.g. corkscrew, drip preventer etc.
There has been a shambles. I’m most concerned that I’ve been unable to provide an appropriate gift to a deserving person.
There is a bottle of port at my house that I don’t want; I am tee total.
I’d like your response to these facts at your earliest convenience please.
Blaming DPD will not be a satisfactory explanation; it may be their fault, but it is your responsibility.
Very disappointed and irked of Cumbria.

Ordered a bottle of wine for a birthday present. Paid the £12.99 to get Saturday delivery - was delivered the following Tuesday. Emailed their customer service a week ago - no response, not even a courtesy ‘we’ll get back to you.’ Would avoid this lot.

I ordered a vintage bottle of port as a leaving gift for a friend.
I must say that the order was placed through Amazon.
My delivery was supposed to be on Monday it's now friday and my delivery is still to arrive.
Absolutely appalling.

Bought a bottle for a 40th anniversary. It arrived quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. Loved the gift box it came in with the accessories!

1982 Chateau Chevalier de Larquey 1982 Bordeaux Superieur
I purchased a bottle of this 1982 wine for my husband's 40th birthday. Decided to open for Xmas day with guests. The cork had disintegrated and the wine was awful, completely unpalatable. I emailed the company who refused to refund the £100 purchase and would only send 2 £20 bottles of red wine from 2012. These were very bland. I know there are many 5 star rated reviews on the website but these are for quick delivery not for the actual product.

I received a 1963 bottle of wine as a gift from my daughters boyfriend in Australia. Sadly, the cork was leaking and the bottle wrapped in clingfilm. I called vintage wine gifts and they immediately recognised the problem and offered to replace the bottle. Given there were no other bottles available, we agreed that they would provide a similar priced bottle of port from the same year which arrived the following day.
Obviously, a little disappointed about the original bottle but the customer service and response was spot-on and the company should be commended for that.

Do not buy your wine from this source. I can't comment on delivery because my husband presented the silk lined presentation box with its vintage wine to me as a Christmas present today. It claimed to be Domaine de Christoly 1982 Bordeaux - a Cotes de Bourg, a wine I have drunk before, even in France. When I opened the bottle and attempted to draw the cork, the mouldy cork immediately collapsed into the bottle so we filtered the wine. It tastes like vinegar and is completely
undrinkable. I see from the Company's website that this "gift" costs almost £100. Do not be fooled.

I ordered a 1996 bottle of red wine as a present for a family member.
The communication and customer service was brilliant. I was updated throughout the process.
The wine arrived in 2 working days. Ordered midnight on the Friday, the wine arrived on Wednesday Morning.
The presentation case and accessories are absolutely excellent.
The personalised message is a really nice touch on a card giving a few facts about the year of production.
I highly recommend Vintage wine and gifts I will definitely use you guys again in the future.

Ordered a nice bottle of vintage white wine at 3pm and it was with me the following day. No hassle at all, lovely bottle of wine! The free gift box was nice too.
