Switch and Bait Shipping
This is the second time I ordered from Vision Direct, and the second time they have shipped my contacts incorrectly. Both times I paid for upgraded shipping and both times they just ship it standard ground.
This most recent time I ordered on a Friday. They shipped the contacts on Wednesday. Since my order was for overnight shipping, I should have received the contacts Thursday. But no. Well, okay I'll have them Friday for the weekend. Again, no. When I researched it, the order was sent standard Fedex, and not overnight. This is the same thing that happened in June. At that time I had paid $11.99 for overnight shipping and it was sent standard. They wouldn't respond to emails and wouldn't refund the shipping.
So buyer beware - visiondirect will take your money for upgraded shipping (or tell you they're giving you free upgraded shipping) and then not do it. I will not be ordering from them again, as it shouldn't take over a week to get overnight contacts.

Zorgvuldig de juiste lenskeuze maken met VisionDirect
Als je lenzen echt niet bevallen of is je sterkte veranderd dan stuur je ze gewoon terug en overlegt met VisionDirect wat het betere alternatief is. Dat is prettig omdat je zo tot de beste oplossing komt bij een lensprobleem.

Delivered to my door the next working day at no extra cost. Perfect!
And I love that they treat me as an adult

Always reliable, still good value despite price increases
I have been using Vision Direct for over six years now. I initially found them online while seeking a cheaper alternative to high street opticians. Despite having a toric prescription, I almost always receive my contact lenses from Vision Direct in good time. On a few occasions, my prescription has been out of stock, but there is always an email warning of the delay and another one informing you when the order has been dispatched. The only minor issue is that the price has risen over the years, but I believe they still offer a good-value alternative to the high street.
