Our experience was great we went to buy some glue sticks for my glue gun, and one of the workers at Taunton Wickes called Bea was very helpful and helped us find them very quickly. Thank you Bea!

Luci was very helpful and patient when helping us to decide on the planing of our new kitchen. Her knowledge steered us in the right direction but she also took on board our ideas. Very pleasant and professional person.

I honestly cannot recommend Phil highly enough. From start to finish, he has been absolutely amazing and has made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier.

Phil has been incredibly professional, hardworking, reliable and genuinely takes pride in what he does. His attention to detail has been fantastic, and he has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was fitted properly and finished to a really high standard.

What really stood out to me was how helpful and approachable he has been throughout. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and he was always happy to explain things, answer questions and make sure I was completely happy with everything.

You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a great job rather than just getting the job finished. He has been a pleasure to have him help me design my kitchen/ bathroom and I couldn’t be happier.

Wickes are very lucky to have someone like Phil representing them. He is an absolute credit to the company, and I would happily recommend him to anyone having a kitchen/bathroom designed.

We went in last Sunday and I needed some advice on getting some identical paint to an old paint pot. I think the ladies name was Becky. She could not have been more helpful. So patient and highly knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to buy our paint from Wickes in Taunton in the future - the very best service. Thank you!

We had a fantastic experience working with Luciane Soares at the Wickes Taunton store to design our new kitchen. From the very beginning, Luciane provided such a personal and attentive service and genuinely took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve.

Designing a kitchen involves so many difficult decisions, but Luciane made the whole process much easier. She guided us through the choices, offered lots of different options and ideas, and was always happy to explain the pros and cons so we could make the right decisions for us.

What really stood out was how much she cared about getting the design right rather than simply selling us a kitchen. Her knowledge, patience and attention to detail were excellent, and we ended up with a kitchen that we absolutely love.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Luciane to anyone looking to design a new kitchen. She provided a genuinely personal service and was a pleasure to work with throughout.

Kathy was so helpful and knowledgeable,took lots of time to help me choose the right products for my requirements,nothing was too much trouble,it was excellent service !!!

Wickes Taunton community program helped out the local pantry with shelving for storage, they were fantastic from start to finish with customer service and the local community will benefit from the help provided. Thank you wickes Taunton.

I can’t recommend Lucy highly enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful, but what really stood out was how genuinely caring and helpful she was throughout the whole process.

Lucy took the time to understand what I wanted and, rather than simply trying to sell me something, she focused on finding the best solution for my kitchen and making sure I would be truly happy with the final result. It was very clear that her priority was getting things right for me, not making money or pushing unnecessary options.

She was always patient, approachable and happy to go the extra mile, and I felt completely looked after throughout the redesign. Her attention to detail, honest advice and personal care made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new kitchen and so grateful to Lucy for all her help. She is a fantastic designer and, more importantly, a genuinely lovely person who really cares about her clients. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to redesign their kitchen.

Paid for a bathroom and fitting. The design process was faultless. However the installation was terrible. We waiting 4 months for their fitter, for him to strip and replace a complete family bathroom in 2.5 days. The rushed job left gaps in sealant, radiator and other fittings not straight or safe. Pencil marks all over every fitting. Wall boarding that costs over £1,500 fitted with gaps and sharp edge. Tap that fell off the sink, leak in shower and also bath tap. Raised a complaint over a week ago and absolutely no action has been taken to resolve. We are now entering week 3 with no family bathroom. In a house of 5 and one managing cancer, this is far from ideal.

Use their design consultants but 100% stay clear of their installer. Cost me £3,500+ for 2.5 days work and the worst fitted bathroom i have seen.

Update. 12oct - Wickes installation manager has inspected the work and agreed the whole bathroom needs to be stripped and refitted properly with a number of new parts. We are now in week 6 since first complaint and no date booked for above works.

It has now been over 6 months since we gave Wickes the go ahead to install the bathroom. My advice to anyone reading this is the materials from Wickes are fine but please use your own fitters. The wickes appointed fitter was rubbish and there seems to be no rush from there aftercare team to get anything done. I have tried to appoint a local bathroom fitter but they won't touch the bathroom as installation so poor.

5 star ⭐ for Lucy our amazing designer. She was incredible from start to finish, just a pity about the appalling 1 star customer services.

Professional and concise service by my kitchen designer

Went to Wicks yesterday and the day before to sort out a design and build for a replacement kitchen and bathroom. In all we spent nearly 8 hours with Lucy who patiently helped us through from concept to a final plan. She was amazing, empathic, coming up with alternatives and options, and anticipating potential issues - nothing was too much trouble. We came away with images of what we hope it will all look like, and detailed estimate of the costs (which struck us as being quite reasonable). Big thank you to Lucy for making the whole experience much more pleasurable than it could have been.

Went into Wicks a couple of weeks ago and had Lucy help me with the design of a flat pack kitchen and went back with some variations today Lucy was amazing nothing was too much trouble, absolute gem with coming up with ideas and solutions. Kitchen ordered and paid for. Brilliant service well done!

Lucy was amazing throughout and really helped us find the kitchen design that met our needs and ensured we had the time to make the right choices. We visited the Taunton branch of Wickes today to purchase paint for our new kitchen. We were struggling to choose the right shade and type of paint when a lady called Miranda came along and realised we were having difficulty with shades and showed us the colour cards which she said was a much better representation of colour which helped immensely ! When we visited the till a lady called Kathy served us,her friendly approach was very good customer service 👏

Easy to book a telephone appointment but very annoying not to actually get the call with no explanation, then the following day get a ‘thank you’ and chance to write a review!!

Just utterly awful from start to finish. Wrong measurements, incorrect costs (we paid an extra £2000!!) wrong products and wrong colour! Our designer was useless. Maybe it was her first ever design but she basically got everything wrong, lied and denied responsibility for any of her mistakes. She specified a shower screen that a committed bulimic could not fit through, an electric mirror that could not be turned on or off, and finally she got the colour wrong entirely. I spent most of the time traipsing back and forth to Wickes returning useless items, then having to source these for myself from other suppliers! Seriously, don’t waste your time effort or money. As for the customer services department, well they just beggar belief. I have never in 60 years dealt with such rude, incompetent uncaring unapologetic ne’er-do-wells in my life. Frankly If I haven’t mentioned it before, don’t waste your time and money. They could not even get the colour right, then when confronted with absolute evidence that they had got it wrong they just lied and tricked me into signing the thing off. Frankly If I haven’t mentioned it before, don’t waste your time and money. Furthermore, on our quote, extras were mentioned at £80. The bill was subsequently £2000 not to mention the time and effort I had to put into return there wrongly specified products. To add insult to injury I discovered that the fitters don’t get paid the fitting fee, in our case around £5000, they actually get less than half that; the vultures at Wickes simply pocket that money for their greedy selves. The whole experience has left us battered, ignored and seriously out of pocket. JUST TO BE CLEAR- DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. Take my advice go to the professionals themselves. You will pay about half what Wickes will charge you and end up with a proper job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I rate my recent Wickes experience highly. I found Kate Elliot to be knowledgeable about kitchen design options, materials and associated items. She guided me with care without attempting to push on either design or hardware. On my follow up visit to the store, Kate was attending to other customers but deftly found time to enable me to complete my order. I have no negative comments to offer - and delivery has been arranged to occur within the week.

20k kitchen installation found new hob scratched. We have been unable to use the hob for almost 6 months we’ve been using a camping stove

State they have not received e mail - no other company I contact has this problem.

Apparently it’s up to us to sort out
