I had a disappointing experience with the hiring process for a customer support role at Wipro. The offered salary for a full-time position was only around ₹12,000, while the expectations included excellent English communication, accent requirements, and preference for local nearby candidates.
The workload and skill expectations did not feel fairly matched with the compensation being offered. The recruitment process also felt more focused on accent and location than actual capability and willingness to learn.
Many freshers apply with hope for career growth, but companies should provide fair pay, transparent hiring, and equal opportunities instead of unrealistic expectations for such low salaries. I hope the company improves its recruitment standards and employee compensation in the future.
Also poor management of walkin drive made made the situation even worse .
