We used Amy when navigating our way through family court a couple of years ago. Our case was complex, but Amy knew exactly what she was doing and how best to help us, she was very professional but also very kind and understanding during a difficult time. She put my sons needs at the centre of everything which is all you can ask for. Since the final court hearing, Amy has always been happy to answer questions and guide us if we need anything. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through family court, she made a very difficult time that little bit easier!

George and the team at Woodstock Legal Services are second to none. George was at hand throughout what was a complicated process and at a time when my stress levels were maxing out. George was always very calm and reassuring and I simply can't thank him enough for everything he did. Truly a five star experience.

I have used Woodstock Legal Services for conveyancing on two house sales. On both occasions I have had a first rate, efficient service from the company. Woodstock Legal Services is on the mortage lender panel of some large UK lenders and some companies like Lawhive use Woodstock as an intermediary to process communication with Mortgage Lenders. This is a horrible experience as Woodstock can take weeks to simply forward an email and all communication has to go through them.
It's a completely dysfunctional set up where your transaction time can easily triple with Woodstock in the picture.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. In our experience, our case was handled with a concerning lack of care, attention to detail, and professionalism. I would give 0 stars if I could

On multiple occasions, it appeared that emails had not been read properly, as we were repeatedly asked for information that had already been provided. Important details were overlooked, and key documents were submitted incomplete. Most seriously, incorrect figures were included on official documents. These were not minor typographical errors but significant mistakes that should have been identified and corrected before submission. These issues caused avoidable delays, stress, and a serious loss of confidence in how our matter was being managed.

Communication throughout was poor. There was no clear explanation of expected response times, yet when we followed up for updates, it was implied that we were at fault for “chasing.” Had reasonable timeframes been communicated from the outset, this frustration could have been avoided. Instead, the responsibility was subtly shifted onto us for simply trying to stay informed about our own case.

When errors and concerns were raised, there was no meaningful acknowledgement of responsibility. Rather than taking accountability, blame was directed elsewhere. We also submitted formal complaints regarding the handling of our matter, which were never properly acknowledged. At no point did the solicitor make the effort to call us to discuss the complaint or attempt to resolve matters constructively. The lack of accountability and engagement was deeply disappointing.

Clients place significant trust in their legal representatives to manage important and often stressful matters competently and transparently. Unfortunately, that standard was not met in our case, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend this solicitor.

My experience with Woodstock Legal Services was nothing short of terrible.

Very concerning experience. Extreme lack of transparency and professionalism.

Work was progressed without any signed agreement or confirmed terms of business. I was never made aware of any clear fee structure, no engagement letter was properly agreed, and no costs were explained upfront.

Despite this, random invoices were later issued, with no clear breakdown and no prior warning that charges were even being incurred.

To make matters worse, correspondence and important documents were sent to the wrong address, which caused serious issues that could easily have been avoided with basic due diligence.

This appears to fall well below the standards of transparency and client care expected under SRA guidelines. Basic principles like informed consent, clear costs information, and proper client onboarding were simply not followed.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using this firm to be extremely careful, insist on a signed engagement letter, and get all costs confirmed in writing upfront before allowing any work to start.

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with Woodstock Legal has been nothing short of a nightmare. I was promised a response within 7-14 days to Lawhive Legal from Woodstock, but it's now been 25 days and I’ve heard absolutely nothing from them. Complete radio silence.

To make matters worse, they completely ignored Lawhive Legal and any communication from support teams that have also been reaching out to them. It feels like they don’t care about anything or anyone. It’s beyond frustrating and unprofessional. Their lack of basic communication is appalling, and they’ve wasted so much of my time, leaving me in limbo.

They have no respect for deadlines or other professionals in their field. It baffles my mind how they can simply ignore the people they work with and face no repercussions or someone to hold them to standards. I probably don't abide by regulations.

Avoid Woodstock Legal at all costs - they are completely unreliable and incompetent.
