Wool Classics Ltd, located in Chelsea Harbour, London demanded 100% payment in advance for a £5,000 stair carpet. Many months later they delivered a carpet that bore no colour resemblance to the swatch and agreed to replace it. When the correct colour carpet eventually arrived it comprised sections with two completely different types of whipping many millimetres different from each other. Since then Julian Brinton the owner / md has been evasive, rude and libellous. Worse, he has refused to professionally address the problem claiming it is somehow our fault! Unfortunately, this is heading towards the courts. It transpires Wool Classics is not a member of The Carpet Federation and therefore does not abide by or operate according to their code of practice intended to protect consumers from unacceptable practices.
