Absolutely shocking service - Avoid them!

Absolutely shocking service. Don't buy from them! I wanted to change a jumper for a larger size and emailed them 2 times and no response from either emails. So I decided to call them and the customer service rep had absolutely no clue on what to do for a gift exchange - which is insane!! She said she would need to speak to her managers and someone would call me back the next day. Surprise surprise.... no one called. It's been 3 weeks now since my first email and I have gotten absolutely no where. Avoid this place, they don't care about their customers.

Nor what it used to be and subacriotion can't be cancelled

They used to have good quality sweaters, but the one I bought last year was completely destroyed. I hanges it and it strethed. After 1 hand wash in cold water, it shrunk and that's it. I waated £120! and Ive been trying to cancel my subscription with them since March 2025. Every time I call they tell me different things: either my account doesn't exist or my account was cancelled or I have multiple accounts or they just drop the call after 30 sec of 'i'll put you on hold". Terrible marketing strategies

I returned 2 jackets which were…

I returned 2 jackets which were delivered to wollovers 5 weeks ago. I’ve rung twice and was told I’d receive a refund in the next week- didn’t happen. Ive emailed twice with no response and still haven’t received my refund. Very poor show. I’m expecting a refund of $250 but wonder if I’ll ever get it?

Disappointed that the website gave an incorrect picture

I ordered (and received) a cardigan which the website showed as having a pink cable front, plain pink back and oatmeal sleeves. This gave the effect of a waistcoat over a sweater. When it arrived the back was oatmeal and not pink, so that the visual sppearance was completely different. I would never have ordered it if it had been shown like this online.
I spoke to customer services and after I insisted that the item is not as described and that I should not have to pay to return it, I was promised a pre-paid label.
Surely the photos shown on the website should be an accurate representation.

Never buy from Woolovers again

Lamswool sweater started to pill quite badly after only wearing it a few times. The seam on the right arm had started to split. Contacted customer services twice but with photos of the problem but no reply apart from auto acknowledgement. Phone customer services but no joy. They could do nothing over the phone and just kept telling me to email my compaint with photos of the problem. I explained that I had already emailed twice but had no response. It was like talking to a zombie. I have given up as I have better things to do with my time. I will never buy from them again.

I found the jumper to be of poor thin as is the customer service

I found the jumper to be of poor thin quality. I have not received any feedback from my in line enquires about a return. It pretends to have an Australian base here but even the local phone number reaches a very abrupt and quite rude man in the UK. He says returns sit in a P.O box her and are only collected twice per month ? A refund could take many weeks. Do not deal with this company.

Shedding of jumper

I have used Woolovers for years - never had an issue until now. Ordered 2 cashmere/wool blend jumpers.
Washed them in delicates as usual
& ridiculous amounts of fluff (2 in x 2 in) came off on both causing me a hour of picking the fluff off.
I will have bald jumpers in no time!
What have they suddenly done differently that is causing this?
I paid hundreds for these jumpers NOT to have them shed or go bald like this - ridiculous.
I have now completely lost my confidence in buying from them again.

V-Neck Cardigans - good service

I ordered two 100% Wool V-Neck cardigans from WoolOvers Australian branch – each a different colour. They were delivered by Australia Post today - five days after placing the order. The packaging was good. I am satisfied with their quality, design, value for money, and the service. I found the WoolOvers website easy to use and that helped convince me that this firm probably knew what they were doing. I was also reassured (after delivery) by the fact that the cardigans were manufactured in Bangladesh and not another large Asian country which tends to have a reputation for quality control issues. I would recommend WoolOvers as an online retailer.

poor quality

not the quality of previous purchases. Crammed into small bag unable to get creases out despite ironing. Now having to resort to a dry cleaner. Wont be using them again

WON'T PAY RETURN POSTAGE FOR THEIR MISTAKE

Bought a zip up cardigan based on the sizing of two that I already have, the photo of the product was an S and looked snug on the model, but the one they sent me was a full 1-2 sizes bigger than ones I bought before, so that the sleeves are baggy and loose around the cuffs and the whole thing just hangs. So size S is more like a M-L. I assumed that the new one would fit like the old ones.

I sent them a photo of the old cardigan overlaid with the new one to show the difference in size.

When I contacted so-called 'customer service' (took three messages and a week for them to get back to me) they told me they'd 'changed their sizing' and refused to provide a return label. Which is a load of hogwash since I ordered another different style in S at the same time and it's the same sizing as the others that I have (I order the same 2-3 styles in different colours) and fits just fine. So I have around 8 Woolovers jumpers/cardigans in size S that are ALL THE SAME and yet somehow this one is massive, how is that my fault?

It's a shame that your reputation as a business and keeping a loyal customer is not worth $15 postage to them.
Terrible customer service and won't be buying from them again after being a customer for many years. Buyer beware.

Serious design problems with this cardigan.

I bought this on a next day delivery as I needed it for the weekend. Excellent service.
This is an exceptionally light knit cardigan, suspect too light weight to be in any way practical but there is a major design fault in its construction.
It cannot be worn over a strappy or sleeveless top as it just falls off the shoulders. I feel certain this is due to its lateral method of construction.

£155 for very badly creased and packaged cardigan.

Just paid £155 for a cashmere swing gassato cardigan. It arrived in a screwed up condition with very deep creases which took me a lot of effort to iron out with a steam iron. I suspect hat this was a return which they hadn’t even bothered to check before they sent it out to me. I cannot find any facility on their website to leave a review. Very disappointing. I will not be buying from them again.

Poor quality wool throws, non existent customer service

I bought 2 wool throws June 24 for my sofas, started using them in the late autumn. They quickly became very rough and bobbly where we sat and now look cheap and nasty. 2 mature, sensible adults live here, no pets. No reply from my polite email with photos sent to woolovers' customer service 9 days ago. I won't be recommending the company and I'm giving them away for dogbeds.

Disappointed

I have been a customer of woolovers for many years. I have never been disappointed until now. I ordered two lambswool polo neck jumpers. Great colours but poor quality. The neck on both are too baggy and flop in front of more like a cowl neck. The fabric is thin and the wool is already beginning to pill after one wearing. What has happened? Very sad!

Jobsworths

I ordered 2 plain stock cardigans in early December to send to my elderly mother (in a nursing home) for Christmas. I wasn't told they were too big for her until shortly after the 28 days return period. Woolovers refused to exchange them even though in original packaging and unopened. Lack of understanding is not a sign of good customer service.

Very disappointing

I ordered an item on 27th December - when I enquired on 6/1 what was happening with the delivery I was told it was no longer in stock and the order was cancelled.

The only place to shop online for clothes

An easy website to navigate, clothing is high quality, price is reasonable, and delivery is prompt. What more could ask? Oh yes. And each item I have purchased, fits perfectly. The latest item, a pair of straight leg jeans, is the best fitting jeans I have ever bought.
