Family treasures liquidators
I’ve been looking forward to going to a lot of of these on the weekends looking for good deals. Everything from Tools to furniture to even statues all kinds of excellent intriguing valuable things that you would pay pennies on a dollar if it makes it that much better and on Sunday, the prices are half price I bought rakes shovels because the ones that I buy at the store haven’t been tested through the years. The ones I’ve bought I still use nevertheless this place is definitely worth checking out on the weekends.
Yp direct is a scam
Yp direct is a scam. I finished my contract with them and tried canceling services that I never actually received. Jason keeps calling and saying we need to settle up on the last 2 payments. I paid and he said that was the end of the agreement. They call back in 3 months with the same thing. I paid it and again in 3 months it the same story. Im tired of it!! I have it on a recorded device them saying the my contract is over but the same guy keeps calling. I've asked him for 4 months now to send it to collections but he will not. Just keeps calling and harassing. I would stay away from YP Direct. They are scammers

We never authorized anything with this co. We always use Po's and they keep saying verbal agreement. This company is very dishonest. We have no idea what they do or sell. When yp direct calls hang up fast or you will be sorry.
My Special Experience at Crown motors Ltd at Yuen Long Service Center
Today, on November 7th, I drove my Toyota car to the Crown motors Ltd Car at Yuen Long Service Center to diagnose an unusual noise that occurred before driving. At the reception, I was assisted by Mr. Victor Lee. After he understood the situation, he promptly arranged for a maintenance technician to accompany me on a test drive. During the drive, the technician carefully identified the specific conditions under which the noise occurred. After returning to the service center, I received a call in about an hour informing me that the issue had been resolved. We were then invited for a second test drive with the technician to confirm the solution. After approximately 15 minutes of driving, I was able to verify that the problem was completely fixed. I am truly grateful to the frontline staff and the technician for their dedication in understanding my concern and providing such a swift resolution. I highly commend the Toyota branch of Crown Car Dealership in Yuen Long for their exceptionally professional attitude.
It`s a Scam
I signed up in December 2024 under the clear understanding that the service would significantly improve my business’s visibility on Google. Instead, I was enrolled in a multi-channel advertising package, including SiriusXM radio ads — with the promise that my business would even appear on in-car radio screens for an additional $50/month. I have since confirmed that this feature was never provided.
I have paid a total of $5,800 to date and have received no measurable return on investment. Despite multiple requests for the original sales call recording where these claims were made, I’ve only been provided with the follow-up call during which I supplied my payment information. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and further supports that this contract was entered into under misleading terms.

Wrote a review on a company that worked next door on Yellow Pages.
They accepted the review then said it went against their policies.
The company Orangery Concepts threatened violence to my partner when she asked them to move their vehicle which was blocking my driveway.
She asked them politely and they swore at her and threatened her.
She was just on her way to hospital to visit her ill son and endured awful abuse.
She rang the police to report threats of violence from Orangery Concepts.
Yellow pages by supporting the thugs Orangery Concepts by rejecting my review are putting the public at risk.
The public has a right to know when firms cause distress, trauma and harassment to neighbours and members of the public
Avoid At All Costs
I am writing to let you know about my issues with Yellow Pages Digital (YPD) regarding my advertising contract.
My ad ran for nine months without my name and contact information, despite consistent monthly payments of approximately $130. This rendered the ad useless for its intended purpose. Although my information was eventually restored, this occurred near the end of my 12-month contract, and YPD never explained why my contact details were removed.
YPD also breached our agreement by failing to provide a replacement ad representative after my assigned representative left. My attempts to contact them were unsuccessful. Unbeknownst to me, I later learned my assigned representative had left YPD to become a local realtor. No replacement was ever provided.
I received no benefit from this altered ad and experienced horrible communication from YPD. Their services are severely underperforming, and I consider their offers to be highly misleading.
My account has been sent to multiple collection agencies, leading to three years of unwarranted harassment.
YPD owes me a refund for the months my ad was ineffective due to their alterations. I refuse to pay for services not rendered, especially given YPD's three breaches of our agreement. I fulfilled my contractual obligations, but YPD did not. Still, they do not respond to what will not benefit them financially.
I find YPD's practices unacceptable, viewing them as predatory and profit-driven. I believe they should face drastic legal action, potentially leading to bankruptcy and legally forced closure.
I strongly advise against engaging with YPD, as their promises appear empty, leading only to distress. I intend to report them to the BBB and encourage others to do the same, as well as to research past class-action lawsuits against them.
If YPD continues to harass me and threaten my credit score through their numerous collection agencies, my lawyer and I will initiate a class-action lawsuit.
This has been my worst experience with any company. Their conduct is disgraceful, particularly for a Canadian-headquartered company.
***UPDATE***
My particular situation has recently been partially resolved after a discussion with their Manager of Customer Service.
While the minor and so-called outstanding “debt” was removed, I still feel a significant sense of time and bigger-picture financial loss due to their breach of contract and what I experienced as unprofessional conduct and harassment over three years.
This ordeal caused considerable stress and "telephone anxiety," which adversely affected my work. I’m certain had this gone to court, as I had hoped, I would have been rightfully reimbursed for the full amount of the breached contract/ agreement.
I am now at least past the period of threats and harassment and am preparing to return to work, eager to move on from this prolonged difficult experience with Yellow Pages.
My experience, alongside many reports from other businesses, underscores the potentially detrimental effects that Yellow Pages can have.
For anyone contemplating an ill-advised business relationship with them, I strongly advise a thorough review of all contractual terms, as they may not only default on their agreements but could also create substantial difficulties via some extremely fine print.
I also recommend promptly requesting a new credit card number to prevent Yellow Pages from accessing your funds once your contract period is complete. As a former RBC banker, I can tell you this is a free service for all credit card providers known to me.
Be aware of their auto-renewal policy and also what I believe is a scam-like ‘three month advance notice’ should you decide to not extend your annual contract by an additional year(s). This is a highly reported issue.
When engaging with the company, I suggest communicating exclusively with supervisors and managers, and meticulously documenting all interactions, as this information could be crucial for credit bureaus should you be unfairly reported.
In lieu of my aforementioned class-action lawsuit, I will be posting my entire experience to my private social media groups, as well as submitting a version to REM Magazine in Canada, along with my local real estate association and user groups.
On an added note: A Yellow Pages Digital sales representative is now contacting my 15-year-old son, who operates his own successful car cleaning/ detailing business. This is highly predatory behaviour and I’m guessing very illegal. There seems to be no bottom to how low Yellow Pages will go.
I’ll be looking into this situation as they have called my son on two or more provable occasions. This is especially questionable as his social media marketing includes his age and school grade.
Don't use this company
Don't use this company. Falsely billing me under 2 different accounts. The are Billing me under Dex Yp and Thryv. They are Billing me the exact amount on both accounts. However, they are using 2 different account numbers. I have sent them my paid in full account printout given to me by Dex Yp and they continue to insist I owe them also. I have only had one account for years. Took statements to an attorney and he agrees there's fraud. How many unsuspecting other customers are they doing this to. The need to be investigated by the state attorney general., that's where I am headed next. Beware of these 2 companies.
Screwed over my business
I represent a transportation company in Winnipeg and yellow pages has screwed us over hard. It takes weeks to get to them and they don't know what they are doing. I've spoken to many different people about our problems because they keep transferring calls. Nobody here knows how to fix things and actually know customer service. The website they help us run is complete dog shit too. Way too old school, doesn't look like it had any effort in it. They also own all our business emails, we wanted to cut them off cleanly but they won't let us take the emails. They are so money hungry. We're in the process of negotiating to buy those emails but they won't budge. Absolute scam. Waste of time, don't buy their services. I send them emails too and they respond but if it doesnt work in their favour they completely ignore you.
Security Concern Ignored
I was trying to update a listing and add a new location. When I tried to log in, it logged me into a completely different business under a different person named Nika. I logged out and tried to log in again, but it kept giving me a 400 error code.
I flushed my cache and tried again to log in. Again, it logged me in under a completely different business name located in Sarasota, Florida.
I called YP about it logging me in as another business. They said they'd only talk to me if I purchased a plan.
Crazy that someone is telling them that the login is connecting them to another account. I could literally delete this business from their directory, change the associated name, and business address.
Just crazy to me that something like that wouldn't be a big deal. You would think they would be thanking me about notifying them of a security concern on the site.
Makes you wonder how many times this happens, and if your business listing is safe from unauthorized access.
This company damaged our AC system and then told us we needed to pay them to install a new one instead of fixing it.
Usually, when I write a review for a company, it's to say I'm happy with the services, but in this case, I felt I had to warn people who have an older AC system about Platinum Home Services by letting you know what happened to us. Our AC was working, but we felt that our fan was possibly not blowing the cold air around as well once the system reached the temp that was set on the thermostat. We were having a party the following weekend and thought it would be smart to have the fan checked out. The Platinum Home Services rep. came and told us that we had a bad capacitor, so a new one was placed in the box in our attic. The rep. and I went out to the yard to look at the condenser and chit-chatted about how our system is older, but working well. I was told we had a GOOD system by the service rep. I went back into the house, and the service rep. went to his truck to retrieve the cost so I could pay. As I waited for him, I felt the air coming out of my kitchen vent go warm and then hot. I quickly felt the air under all of our downstairs vents, and they all had hot air blowing out. The Platinum Service rep. came back in with the invoice, and I commented that something was wrong bc the vents were all blowing hot air now. He said to wait a while and promised that the system would blow cold air again in a few mins. I wrote the check, and he left. The air NEVER got cold again. I called the office to let them know what happened, and they sent a different rep. over the next day to fix things. The 2nd rep. came and went into the attic. After a few mins, he came into my kitchen and said that our system was "DONE" and needed to be totally replaced... meaning that they couldn't fix it, and our whole system needed to be ripped out! I was told that they would do this for the "low price" of $8,800. I was stunned. I said that our system was working before they came the day before... how can this happen? I was told that it wasn't their fault... that it was just a "coincidence" that our working system blew up after they put in their new part. Before I called Platinum, our AC was blowing very cold air, and we just wanted to make sure that the fan was working correctly. My husband and I were disgusted with them. That same day, we called another company to get a 2nd opinion. The new company came the next day and told us that even though our system was older (almost 20 years), it was a great system and of course he could fix it. When the new company investigated the issues, they found that the AC's electrical breaker was "blown" and that our control board was burned out. These things could not have happened before Platinum came and put their capacitor in because, like I said, our system was working before they showed up that 1st day. Our system wouldn't have been able to work with a "blown" breaker and a burnt control board. We were misled by Platinum Home Services. The only option they gave us was to put in a new system. They never even gave us the option of fixing things (things they broke, honestly). Having our system FIXED by the new company cost us a fraction of the cost of a new system. Platinum would prefer to receive $8,800. for installing a new system, rather than fixing our system and receiving less. Not very customer-focused. After our NEW company fixed our system for $1,220, we were very happy with our AC (it's almost too cold in here now), but it upset us that we had this bill at all. On top of the $1220., we also had to pay an electrician over $300. to fix the breaker Platinum blew, as well as pay for the capacitor ($300.) that Platinum installed, which started this whole mess. We asked them to reimburse us for the Electrician, the Control Board, and the Capacitor. We felt that it was fair to ask for a credit for just those items. We didn't ask them for many other items that we were invoiced for. Platinum said "NO" and then made a comment about how we decided to call someone else in to deal with it, as if that bothered them. Why on earth would we NOT get a 2nd opinion after what happened? We're so glad that we got a 2nd opinion and got our system fixed. The truth is that it WAS FIXABLE for thousands less than Platinum Home Services was trying to charge us. A lot of people have older systems, and the right contractors may be able to fix them. Always get a 2nd opinion. We didn't appreciate that Platinum Home Services made it seem that our only choice was to pay them almost $9,000. Sooner, rather than later, we know we'll have to install a new system, but we do not trust Platinum Home Services to tell us when that day is, that's for sure. We will not be using Platinum Services ever again, and we absolutely would NOT recommend them to anyone.
Reviews are simply removed by the reviewed co.
Reviews written about company can simply be deleted by reviewed company. Same companies can review themselves with 5 stars. Very dishonest and misleading
Gray’s Pool
Vic Gray, owner of Gray’s Pool’s was recommended to me by a pool company to repair my liner for my in ground pool.
1st let me say not only did Vic drive from Krotz Springs to Lafayette to look at the pool and give us an estimate, but he came back for 2 weeks in the cold weather to complete the work we needed done. Which turned out to be more than a liner, but we didn’t know that until he got the old linear off.
He is courteous, honest, professional, and very experienced. I asked him about different options of repairs and he helped us make the best decisions. Even picking out a beautiful liner that I admire everyday!
We had him add a rail to the steps because I felt we really need one as we are older and this pool never had one.
His prices are fair and his work is excellent.
Vic was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his services for repair. He also does pool covers.
Stay away from Yellow Pages
I sent a message on the contact us page of a business. The business was my own business, this is something I do from time to time to check that customers are being forwarded on to us as they have planned. I did not receive my message. The message was direct to my competitors all over the Melbourne area. My private message and phone number was passed on to shops of the same nature who contacted me to fill my quote request. My company is having potential customers sent to other shops and robbing me of business. This is so bad, they have sold their soles and the shops paying for this service are crooks and make it possible for this damaging conduct. I will be taking this further and cancelled my yellow pages ad. They make this illegal behaviour possible for competing shops to feed their greed.

OLM THE AGENCY has great training. After signing up, about 3 months later I was booked for FASHION WEEK in NYC. Not long after, I was booked for the BOAT SHOW in Miami. I was for a few more bookings. I'm loving it.

Much like a lot of people on here the tricked and auto renewed the contract. They use snail mail as a way out and only email you when they want their money. I ask for conformation of payment sent to me and when I got it there was almost nothing that said the real yellow pages on it. You had to look for it. It is like they dont want you to know or use email. I can bet like many people i tossed what looked like junk mail in the trash and now they are claiming I have to pay them for print that does not work. They know this and that is why they do what the do.

Tricked into a 12 month contract I barely received 1 lead or inquiry a month absolutely biggest waste of £2400 in on year. When my year was done I tried to cancel it on 12 days notice but they said they need 14 days and there’s nothing they can do I have to pay another £220 for a service that does not work. They do not care about you or your business they only want there money. DO NO USE EVER

I could never get ahold of a person to Cancel my dad's account. They kept charging my 87-year-old dad even though the phone was turned off. I would not help or return calls until after business hours when I could not reach them.
