Yeokens - completely taken for a ride
Original review 6 March 2025. I can only agree with the many other recent reviews about what a waste of time the Yeokens scheme has become. It's so disappointing. We've been hugely loyal to Yeo Valley in our house, partly because we like the idea of buying food that's produced locally.
As others have said, you used to be able to save yeokens up for something useful - a reusable coffee cup or a water bottle, for example. That all seems to have disappeared. We have more than 2,000 Yeokens at the moment and all we can spend them on is paltry discounts on things we have no interest in buying or doing, or raffles. At the very least we'd hope to have some form of voucher for Yeo Valley dairy products with that many Yeokens. Sorry, Yeo. More disappointed customers here!
EDIT, October 2025. Well, doubtless in response to all the reviews complaining about Yeokens, Yeo Valley sent round a survey many months ago, asking what customers would like from its Yeokens scheme. I stupidly took the trouble to fill it in, thinking it might make a difference, but nothing's changed. I said that I'd like to be able to buy things actually worth having with the Yeokens (as you used to be able to- i.e. not Yeo Valley clothing) or receive free Yeo dairy products. I'd be amazed if that wasn't what most people said.
TBH, I thought saving Yeokens was a bit sad, and I didn't realise that anyone else I knew saved them until someone randomly mentioned it at a dinner recently. It turned out that every household round the table had been saving them for ages, and everyone felt completely taken for a ride.
We're incredibly disappointed in Yeo. For years now we've been taking the trouble to scan in codes for each of the (very many) pots of yoghurt we've bought - all for nothing. You need to listen to your customers, Yeo. We'd held on and hoped things would improve, but we feel so strongly about this that we've now switched to another brand.
Yeo Valley Gregory lorry’s have been…
Yeo Valley Gregory lorry’s have been clogging up north east Somerset for years now. It’s made the villagers mad, it’s also caused massive unnecessary congestion throughout several parts of Somerset.
Yeo valley need to move to Avonmouth or somewhere traffic friendly.
Most of blagdon and Ubley hate Yeo Valley for clogging up our roads.
Deserving of 5 stars!
I cannot believe how this company doesn't have a five star overall mark. I absolutely love their products. Their greek yoghurt is the best, it's thick and creamy and I can probably eat a whole pot in 1 day! I've been collecting their yeokens for years and have had a a t-shirt and a mug for nothing! I still have about 650 yeokens to spend but I like to keep on collecting until I find something I'd really like. Good customer service, it's 5 stars from me! Well done yeovalley!
I suggest playing Solitaire rather than…
I suggest playing Solitaire rather than collecting yeokens - far more meaningful. This started off as a good reward scheme, but has atrophied into a pointless exercise. Eat the products if you like them, but collect eg train numbers instead.
Best natural tasting yoghurt
Best natural tasting yoghurt, thick, creamy and no additives. Not sour tasting like others on the market. The rewards scheme is discount on other brands and sometimes free Yeo branded items. I have used my Yeo Tokens to purchase a mug & a bag previously. I would recommend Yeo Valley products.
The Yeokens scheme is dreadful
The Yeokens scheme is hugely disappointing. It’s really not worth saving the tokens!
Most of the rewards are rubbish discounts with other brands - meaning you’re having to spend money. What’s more, the discounts that you can exchange your tokens for you can get elsewhere! The Field Doctor discount of 25% is a joke - you already get 20% off directly with them simply for subscribing to their newsletter.
The only thing I could do with 250 Yeokens that didn’t involve me spending money with a third party to get a measly 10% off, was get one mug.
I was expecting my tokens to pay for some yeovalley yoghurt/products or a choice of merchandise to select from, not to have to spend more money.
Should be called Yuk
Sadly I bought two packs of their little Yeo organic 6 pots and it tastes absolutely vile I have emailed customer services for a response
Phthalate containing bottles for organic kefir seems disingenuous
Hi ; I was excited to see organic kefir in bottles. Unfortunately the bottles are made from PET, the very phthalate containing plastic of concern in water bottles.
It seems disingenuous to pump out more plastic that is clearly known to the manufacturers as dodgy.
Glass would be no problem and look impressive.
I didn’t try the actual kefir; probably delicious.

Half full pot of sour cream had turned when opened prior to use buy date.
Yeotokens are utterly pointless, completely irredeemable in every respect!
Keep your pretentious yogurt I’ll buy something else in the future
How do you even spend the yeokens they give you…I’ve looked everywhere, shove them where the sun don’t shine…
Yeo rewards a scam.
Yeo rewards a scam.
After collecting and doing ridiculous spins and raffles I got a free coffee from Cafe Nero.Suprise,
the code given didn't work.Contacted Yeo,no response.
No more for me.
Yogurt muffins
Purchased Yeo Valley kefir strawberry yogurt today.
Love the recipe for yogurt muffins as it's so easy to do, thanks
Nothing tangible to spend Yeokens on
I have a lot of Yeokens but there is nothing tangible to exchange them for. Absolutely nothing! Not so long ago one could at least exchange them for a shopping bag or a few other things but now there is nothing. I don't want money off posh pursuits in which I have no interest whatsoever, or to take part in a raffle. I would like something tangible in exchange for my Yeokens.
I am beginning to think that the loyalty scheme is a complete waste of time. Please at least bring back the shopping bags.
Well what can I say about these things…
Well what can I say about these things ? Well the taste is on but I’ve tasted better. The price isn’t as bad as other brands but not the cheapest. But what really get my goat is that the pots are only half full. So that means they are as expensive as the dearest. I keep telling my misses to get the ones from Aldi but she’s stubborn. My advice DON’T buy them.
Disappointed with the Decline.
Disappointed with the Decline.
I used to love Yeo Organic products, but recently, the quality and taste have noticeably declined. The yogurt, which used to be rich and creamy, now feels thinner and lacks the flavor it once had. For a brand that prides itself on organic excellence, this is really disappointing. Considering the premium price, I expected much better consistency. I hope they address these issues and return to their previous high standards.
Woeful homogenised, standardised garbage
Unimpressive full fat milk. Homogenised, standardised garbage, lacking cream and tastes like any of the mass produced milks.
This is not how good milk tastes, just how nature DIDN'T intend it. I implore customers to visit some of the smaller dairies in rural England to get a taste of how milk should actually taste- 2-3 inches of thick cream on top of the milk. They are skimming off cream and standardising the milk, putting back less cream than was in the original real whole milk, then selling it as whole milk and undoubtedly selling the cream separately. Deeply unimpressed- I know good milk and this is not it.
Loyalty scheme??!! - an utter waste of time
Nice packaging is all I can say. Average and overpriced products and the most ridiculous Yeokens Loyalty scheme which encourages people to bank tokens to be redeemed for freebies that are never available.
