A morning of cancellations and zero care

If you are planning to fly to Pokhara, do yourself a favor and book with Buddha Air or Shree Airlines instead. My experience today has been an absolute nightmare. My original 7:40 AM flight was cancelled. I was then offered an 8:00 AM flight, which was also cancelled. Finally, I was put on the 9:30 AM flight, which has been hit with further delays.

I have been stuck at the airport since 5:00 AM, watching Buddha and Shree flights depart for the same destination on time. This proves the issue wasn't the weather—it was this airline's incompetence.

I couldn't take a refund because my return tickets and Airbnb in PKR were already locked in, so I was essentially held hostage by their schedule. To make matters worse, there has been zero support from the staff. No light refreshments were offered to the passengers—some of whom are elderly—leaving us with nothing but the stale food options available in the terminal.

I made a mistake and bought a ticket…

I made a mistake and bought a ticket for 13.01.26 instead of 13.04.26. I noticed right after I received the booking confirmation and tried to change it in every possible way without success. I sent an email to the flight company Yeti Airlines Nepal and did not receive a response. I sent an email to Agoda through which I bought the ticket and the answer I received was that I should pay a fine which is the price of 2 new tickets, which is a real disgrace.

Dear Yeti Airlines Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I recently booked my ticket with Yeti Airlines from Saudi Arabia. My ticket clearly mentioned 54 kg total baggage allowance, and I already paid for it when I booked the ticket.

However, at the boarding counter, the staff told me I had to pay 4000 more. I explained that my ticket already includes 54 kg, but they did not accept it. After a long discussion, they reduced the amount to 3000, which I paid. When I asked for an invoice or receipt, they refused and said, “no need, just pay and go.”

I believe this 3000 may not have been an official charge, as no receipt was provided. I have traveled with Yeti Airlines around 10 times before, but I have never faced such an issue. This experience was very disappointing and felt unfair.

Kindly look into this matter and take necessary action. I would appreciate your response and clarification.

Flight delayed by 3 hours

Flight delayed by 3 hours, instead of telling us that they kept telling it was delayed by 1 hour 3 times. I talked to yeti airlines customer support explaining that we have important dinner that we can't miss and the operator replayed that we can have any refund, the only way to get a refund is to cancel the flight. Sadly we are gonna miss the dinner, I am writing this as I'm sitting in Katmandu domestic airport waiting to board the plane.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BOOK WITH THEM.

Super fast to respond, excellent customer service

When the flights from Pokhara kept being delayed or canceled due to the weather we got in touch with the Pokhara office of Yeti to see what could be done to ensure we got back to Kathmandu. Responses were almost instantaneous (big shout our to Chhetin Gurung!!! 🥰) and changing our flight was fast and without extra cost. I have never seen such service and to top it off we actually made it on a revised flight out. Thank you @yetiairlines!

FLUG KTM Pokhara. Keine Infos, ob und wann der Flieger startet. Infotafel: "planmäßig". 4 Std Wartezeit. Personal äußerst unfreundlich. Fragen werden abgewimmelt mit dem Satz "in eine Stunde".
Lügen als Ausreden, das Wetter, enormer Luftverkehr, PC Panne.
