​I recently picked up a Tracer 9 GT+ (74 plate, 4600 miles) from Jason and the team. To be honest, I was pretty nervous about dropping that much money on a bike I’d only seen in videos and photos, but when I arrived, the bike was absolutely mint—exactly as described.
​The real test of a dealership isn't when things go right, but when they go wrong. On the ride home in some heavy rain, a fault light popped up. It turned out to be a short circuit on the O2 sensor. I called Jason, and even though we weren't sure what the issue was yet, he didn't hesitate. He arranged to collect the bike and get it sorted.

​Jason kept me in the loop the whole time—letting me know when the bike arrived, what they found, and when the new part was fitted. The best bit? He had it back to me in days, not weeks. Being without a bike for ages was my biggest worry, but they handled it so fast. I’ve done 150 miles since then and it’s running perfect.

​It’s rare to be surprised by good service these days, but Jason and his team really go to the next level. Jason even helped me out with questions well after the showroom closed at 17:30. If you’re near York and need a bike or a repair, don’t look anywhere else.

We have just received our Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 from York Motorbikes. We purchased this without seeing it in person. Jason provided a 'walk-round' video of the bike and explained every requested detail. Although we have never met he came across as such a trustworthy guy, we were not mistaken, the bike arrived and it was exactly as described (if not even better!). He also arranged the delivery over the weekend at a very reasonable cost considering we are over 240 miles from York. We are delighted with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. Definitely a 5 star company. Thank you Jason!

Great people to deal with, Jason couldn't of done more to help and was very knowledgeable with all my questions and queries.
Even after I had taken delivery of my bike they still had the time to speak to me when I needed a couple of questions on maintenence.

5 star plus, service, a professional and relaxed atmosphere while being guided by Jason with his wealth of knowledge.
I found that nothing was too much trouble and the thought was to satisfy his customer, which he did with me.
I picked up yesterday an 11 BMW R1200R, the machine had been full serviced, MOT, and valletted to the highest standard possible.
I have the greatest respect for Jason, and his team its what makes purchasing a Motorcycles relaxing and a pleasure. Thank you all for your courtesy and respect.

Huge shout out to York motorbikes. Bought a tracer 900 gt from them 2 months ago and I WANTED a clutch basket upgrade , they offered to do the work F.O.C under there 3 month warranty if I paid for the upgraded basket. I book the bike in and just short of a week had it back again running absolutely fantastic. Can’t thank these guys enough. A proper bikers garage. See u guys nxt year for its annual service.

Disappointed by Lack of Test Ride, Despite Good Service
I purchased a motorcycle from here and while the service from the staff was excellent they were friendly knowledgeable and the overall buying process (aside from this one issue) was smooth I've been left very disappointed and regretful due to their policy of not offering test rides.
As a customer expecting to make a significant purchase like a motorcycle I naturally anticipated being able to test ride the bike to ensure it was a comfortable fit for me. This policy was not communicated to me upfront, and I only became aware of it during the actual buying process. This was a considerable surprise and put me in a difficult position.
Unfortunately because I couldn't test drive the motorcycle I now realise it isn't comfortable for me, which is a crucial factor for any rider. Had I known about the no-test-ride policy in advance or had the opportunity to properly assess the bike's comfort on the road I would have made a different decision.
While I appreciate the good service otherwise the lack of transparency about such a fundamental policy and the resulting discomfort with my purchase means I cannot fully recommend this dealership for motorcycle purchases unless you are absolutely certain of your needs without a test ride. It's a vital part of the buying experience that was missing for me
