First time ordering, should have checked reviews first.

Ordered 4 of their fluff cups the Ooey Marshmellow.

Banana pudding: tasted extremely artificial very nasty, it was also gritty, like they didn’t fully dissolve the sugar?

Butterscotch Brown Butter: Tasted better but not one I’d ever buy again, extremely gritty, yes it has cookie crumbs mixed in but that’s not the reason, sugar wasn’t fully dissolved.

Lemon Meringue: Tasted like pure meringue and artificial lemon … it was the smoothest out of the 4 I purchased, but 0 marshmallow taste felt like eating the top of a lemon meringue pie in a bad way.

Cookie Butter: Smoother then The butterscotch and 0 grittiness even with the cookie crumbs mixed in, it tasted the best out of all of them but still artificial and not something I’d go crazy over.

I also ordered gluten free graham crackers but they were all broken on arrival, when opening the box the crackers were in bubble wrap so. I can’t fault them for that probably just the delivery service treating it roughly. But they taste like ass powdery very little crunch and almost no flavor.

In total I spent about 50ish dollars and i cannot recommend anyone buying these, and whoever is posting positive reviews at least about their Ooey line is probably crazy, I can’t speak about their other items on the site but judging from 4 complete flops I’d say it’s safe to assume everything is garbage.

Apple pie cups came melted. I requested a refund to my credit card or a replacement. The only thing they offered was a store credit which wasn’t even equal to the price of the product not to mention the $15 shipping fee to reorder. My family and I tried 4 different flavored marshmallows and none were very flavorful so my advice is to skip this business until they improve their flavors and customer service.

I've ordered twice from this company - the first time a Halloween advent calendar that was meh for flavor but amazing for presentation and softness/freshness/texture of the marshmallows. The flavors just weren't strong enough.

On my second order, I included a mystery box which promises a value of $30-35 value. I received a mystery box with a value of $28.90. Not an egregious difference so I left two reviews - one review was 5 stars for a favorite item and I left a 3 star review for the mystery box. My theory was there was nothing wrong with the items, if someone cared only for the mystery it wasn't a bad deal, but if someone was concerned about value, their money was better spent purchasing items they really want.

The site published my 5 star review and deleted the 3 star review. Upon contacting customer service, they make no apologies for the lack of value (to be fair, I was only asking to leave a review) and tell me to leave a review on the site again. Presumably, they know it is impossible to leave more than one review on an item and so I cannot leave a second review, even though my one is not shown.

Upon review of at 10 listings on the site, I did not find a single item with a review of less than 4 stars. I find it extremely unlikely they have only 4 and 5 star reviews and more likely that they deliberately prevent reviews they perceive as negative. I find that sad and sketchy. So beware, those reviews are definitely misleading.

For what it is worth, overwhelming products are pretty good. My biggest complaint is that most flavors are so mild they just taste like marshmallows. But they are high quality plain marshmallows. And the specialty marshmallow cups are out of this world, although pricey! I was planning on a huge order for gifts but the customer service/review issue is honestly making me question where I want to spend my money.

This company is extremely unprofessional and rude. I received an order with melted products during a heat wave this past summer. This was partially due to carrier delays, so I reached out to XO Marshmallow customer service and they admitted one product was visibly melted though multiple were in various stages of melting. Received no refund or replacement and instead of receiving any kind of understanding or genuine apology, was criticized by the owner when bringing a legitimate concern to their attention. In fact, the owner’s only apology was “sorry you feel so jilted”.
