Craig is a fantastic NVQ tutor. He’s approachable, reliable, and genuinely cares about his learners’ success. He made the assessment process straightforward and stress-free, providing clear guidance every step of the way. Craig wiltshire was amazing and kept me on track not sure i would have finished without him was finding it so hard to do with industry I was in and had time where I messed up and if im honest Craig was hard like you want to be an electrician you should know this stuff but he was right but after that he would also help guide you how you could improve we to get the help needed he honestly kept me in the game and as of today I can actually say im a fully qualified electrician

I’ve recently completed my NVQ with XS Training and couldn’t fault them. From the enrolment to booking the AM2 everything was a smooth process. I had Tom Simpson as my assessor and he was brilliant. I also found their AM2 preparation guide very helpful.

I used XS Training for my 18th edition about 3 years ago and the experience was the same, hence me coming back. Will use them in the future for any further training.

Done all my courses through XS loved the journey to become qualified Electrician what I love about XS training is the way everything is explained really helped me in my exams and on site couldn’t thank them enough

Tom & Richard made all the initial process and tasks so simple to follow, and also made them challenging and enjoyable. They made the learning much more productive and fabricated it to me better as an individual.
Laura helped me through my NVQ, and was an absolute delight. Her electrical knowledge and experience really aided me as a learner, and really challenged me to my best for the exam and portfolio.

I've just completed my Level 2 2365 and have already started my Level 3.
I found the online content perfect for my style of learning and lifestyle. Being able to stop and start as time permitted was a huge win for me. I also found the back office to be extremely helpful in booking exams.
Throughout the online element of the course I was dreading the time in centre for the practical element but found the instructor, Richard, to be friendly, helpful and dedicated to his students and the trade. I would even go so far to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time in centre and am looking forward to returning for my level 3.

I was given Muztaba to help me through my NVQ 3. From the first day we spoke on the phone I knew Muztaba was so good at his job, he knew everything and if I had an issue he was there to sort. I recently completed the EICR training course with XR Training. The course was well structured and clearly explained how to complete the EICR form, including observations, coding, and the reporting process.

My assessor Laura have been great throughout my NVQ journey. The help and support she provided made the whole process easier and more enjoyable. Jamie my internal verifier have given assistance in the vital moment too. Thank you both. Hope you two have a great 2026.

I’ve just completed my Level 2 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The online course suited my learning style perfectly—easy to navigate, clear, and genuinely engaging. The videos were informative without ever feeling boring.

The in-centre practical sessions were equally enjoyable. The tutors were knowledgeable, friendly, and always approachable. Because I already had some practical experience, I was able to work through the workbook at my own pace, with plenty of helpful advice and support whenever I needed it.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this course—and the centre—to anyone considering any of the programmes they offer.

I just finished off my NVQ with XS Training and the whole experience was apsolutely professional, straight foward and stress free. I worked at my own pace and everything was very easy to use from the software to the assesor communication. Craig Wiltshire has been very helpful though out my portfolio any issue I am struggling with he’s there to help me. I completed the 2391-51 course and I had no issues with the company at all. Always answered my emails, access to the online training course was easy, and the course itself was very helpful and had knowledge checks along the way to help you know if you were ready to continue. Attending the Leeds centre to complete my exams and the staff were all really friendly and helpful, and put me at ease as I tend to get very nervous before exams.
