I ordered the X4 on 7/7/26. I waited several days for the tracking code because it was never updating. Sent an email, they saw what was going on and provided the tracking code. They supposedly shipped the order, but it eventually got stuck at customs because they failed to pay the necessary fees for shipping to Europe. I’ve sent them several emails, but no answer. They haven’t provided any explanation, nor have they said whether they intend to resend the package or issue a refund. At this point, I’m left without any solution or information regarding my order.

Habe dort eine E-Reader bestellt. Dieser war nach 2 Monaten schon defekt. Ich habe über das Kontaktformular und per Email den Support angeschrieben. Keinerlei Reaktionen!

The policy states that the device can be returned within 30 days or exchanged. I purchased an X3 and received it on July 17th but after trying it found it too small and hard to read so that same day I emailed them wanting to exchange it for an X4. They replied that since the product was used I could not return it (I used it once!) but if I pay an extra $41CAD, they would send me another device of my choice. I happily paid the extra amount and asked them to send me an X4 to replace the X3. I had no problem sending back the X3 but they told me they didn't want me to send it back and offered me the above alternative. I have since sent several emails asking them where my device is - no response. I then asked that they refund me the $41CAD I paid since they had no intention of sending me another reader. I have been emailing them for a month now but my emails are being ignored. I am literally being ghosted! So now I have paid almost 2x the price for an ereader that I can't use. These guys are scammers! They don't honor their refund/exchange policy, ask you for more money and then send you nothing and ghost you. If you are thinking about buying an Xteink device, do it through Amazon. At least Amazon will honour the 30 day refund policy. DO NOT ORDER directly from them! Better still, look for another ereader - I don't know what the hype is about these ereaders, the only advantage is that they are tiny but the disadvantage is they are hard to read because the text is so small. If you have a smart phone you would have a better reading experience using that to read books and save yourself money and hassle with this company. Buyer beware...

Careful Scam!

I purchased the e-reader and never arrived!
I spent weeks trying to contact them and trying to reach support.
They ignored my emails.
I have lost my money.
Do not purchase anything from them, or you will lose your money.

I ordered my first XTEINK device on the 30th of Juli and I received it on the 5th of August. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived this quickly.

The device works as described and it's a real charm to use when I'm out and about.

Twenty-five days after ordering, I haven't received any news regarding my shipment, and I couldn't track the status of my order on the website. I contacted customer service, who gave me two links (the first of which apparently was incorrect). The second link stated that the product had been delivered, but it never arrived. Since then, customer service hasn't responded to my refund requests, and I'm left waiting, almost hopelessly, for a response. Never again.

I accidentally ordered the wrong accessories for my new eReader but Alberich was there to help me out woo!

Ordered an x3, put in the wrong address and noticed before it was despatched. emailed them and they quickly responded and sorted it within 38 hours with a changed address. great customer service, unsure if something has changed but these negative reviews must only be one offs so i had to leave a review myself.

Ordered an X3, received it in 7 days in perfect condition.
Everything went smoothly.

Xteink support got back to me right away with the correct answer. They were very respectful and I appreciated it.

Scam company.

I paid for the X4 Pro on 22nd July 2026 and the confirmation email said it would be with me within 7 - 10 business days (5th August at the latest).

I haven't had an email to say it has been shipped yet, but I did get an email to say it would be shipping on 28th July 2026.
It didn't.

I have sent 3 or 4 emails since (there is no phone number I can find to call), and has no response.
So I am going to trading standards next.

If you would like to make this right, send me my order and I expect at minimum a 10% refund for all of this.

I thought I ought to go ahead and write a review about their customer service since I see so many bad reviews here. I ordered one of these yesterday morning, and then I read these bad reviews and panicked. I emailed them and asked to cancel the order, and they got back to me immediately and refunded the charge. I was actually so impressed with this quick customer service, that I decided to reorder and give the product a try after watching some YouTube videos. I love eInk, and the size seems really handy for portability.

Update: Welp. After spending FOREVER this weekend trying to get books on to the thing, I must lower my review a little. I love using it, but the process of getting books on to it successfully was a complete pain in the butt.

I wish I've read the reviews here before paying this scam comapny. It is shameless how they do not take responsiblity or care for their customers.
I've ordered and paid for the device, roughly 60euro, which was never delivered. they refused to take responsiblity or reimbursing me my money.
it is very exahusting corresponding with them via emails back and forth for more than 14 days with no solution and denial of responsiblity that they failed at delivering the product.

NEVER AGAIN, NEVER TO RECOMMEND, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY (GO SPEND THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE A COMPANY RESPECTS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND TAKES RESPONSIBLITY!)

Lo pedi el 13 de julio y aun sigue pendiente de envio a dia 27/7. No contestan a los mensajes.

If you must have a cheap chinese ereader, don't buy it here. I can't speak for the device itself. It never shipped. In stock and available for shipping means nothing. They will just grab your money and that's that. Avoid this webshop, buy on aliecpress if yu must. They are terrible, this is a lot worse.

Pictures in the official website suggest it works with iPhone Pro - it doesn’t, it’s too large and also the magnet doesn’t attach. Bought directly from Xteink, seller unhelpful - they want to charge me $20 fee for restocking against their own T&C (which claims no fee returns) because „the box was opened” well ofc it was opened, how would I know they put fake pictures in their website.

Actually surprised by the nice costumer service after reading these reviews. I had to cancel my order due to ordering wrong device. They replied after only a few hours and helped me right away.

Ordered directly from xteink.com. My first shipment never arrived and required a paid reshipment to fix an address issue on their end. The replacement was then marked "undeliverable" and returned to sender despite me being home all day with no knock, call, or delivery notice. I've sent four emails since June 8th, including a final notice with a deadline, and received no substantive response. I've now paid twice for a product I don't have, and Xteink has gone silent. Be very cautious ordering directly from their site.

The company is a scam.
The product was supposed to be delivered on the 11th. The courier never delivered anything.

We went to our neighbors, the ones around us and the ones with the same number. No one had the package.

I contacted xteink. They told me it would take 7 to 15 business days. After 17 business days, I contacted them. After 18 we got a response saying that the courier tried contacting us and left a phone number at our house and also coming to our house twice and that no one was home, but in the same e-mail they said it was delivered at a neighbors house.

For context: we live in the city. That means we have camera’s. Including at the doorbell.

At this moment, I am not convinced they sent anything at all. The customer support is extremely dismissive.

I ordered a X3 ereader with accessoires on 06/12 after researching whether the official site was safe to order from and reading which experience people from different countries on reddit had with it. I risked because bad reviews had scared me, but thankfully I got my order delivered on 06/19. My device isn't damaged (so I didn't have to contact support and try to get a replacement. thus my experience is quite limited) and everything came in a nice package. One thing I don't like thought is shipment updates via "shop" as it is unreliable and was showing that my package was in China the day before it was delivered to me. To people in confusion: check that you order on a legit official website and it should all be okay. But remember that it is not always 100% safe out there in the online shopping and be ready to argue with customer support in case something goes wrong. Anyway, love my little eink device :)
