eSIM stop working, they didn't fix it

I purchased an eSIM from Yatelo for India, 5 GB for 30 days. It worked for only one week, I had used up only 0.5 GB of my data and it stopped working. No more Internet all day in different locations.
I wasted about 40 minutes with their online support, they suggested endless things to try, none of them got the eSIM working again. They then refused to refund the money, saying they were escalating to the engineers.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I am very sorry for the frustration you experienced with your India eSIM and the delay in getting this resolved.

I would like to clarify that we have now processed a full refund for your unused data. While it usually takes 3-5 business days to reflect on your statement, it may appear sooner depending on your bank.

We apologise that the troubleshooting process was longer than expected. Our escalation to the engineering team was intended to find a permanent fix, but we recognise that your time is valuable, and a refund was the appropriate immediate step. We appreciate your patience and hope to provide you with a much smoother experience in the future.

Easy installation of eSIM, straight away connected with a strong local network. What more can I ask for?

Excellent Service

First time using Yatelo and I must say their services are above par value. Seamless browsing. Using it in Nairobi and hope to use it wherever I travel to from Ghana.

Bought a data eSim for the UK and was not able to get customer support from human

Bought a data eSim for the UK. I was not able to connect to the data network. Connected customer support and they helped me connect. When I switched to my normal US carrier to check my emails and switch back I was not able to connect to data. Contacted their customer support via chat window(which is AI driven until and IF you can contact a human) but was not able to get to a human for over an hour to 1:30 wait in the evening and next day waited over 30 minutes. I gave up.

Update: After 37 minutes an agent came on. Couldn't resolve the problem after additional 40 minutes as all settings were correct and the phone had initially worked. Issued new eSIM that worked immediately. I asked for a credit for a future use and they reach out to them when I take a future trip.

2nd update: Considering this was my first ever Trust Pilot review and that I reviewed a company that doesn't seem to have that many reviews, I was impressed that Trust Pilot was able to get such a quick response (less than 24 hours) from the Yatelo. Yatelo deserves credit for that. I won't upgrade my review at this time because I will see how they treat me when I try to use their services for a upcoming trip that is happening soon to another country.
