YesChef doesn’t notify you when your annual subscription is due. £150 was taken from my account without notification, warning, or even a receipt or a thank you afterwards! Why would a company operate like that? One that wants you to auto-renew (this happens by stealth when you sign up). If you look really hard you can find the customer service email address but they don’t bother replying! It seems the company is entirely automated. Look at the website, check social media, there is no ‘about us’, no team, no employees, nothing. I actually wondered if the company was still operating because they haven’t posted to Instagram since January. Messages are automated. It seems the CEO set up the company to be totally automated. Once you sign up you never hear from them again. They just take your money by stealth every year until you stop them. This has to be the most cynical online company ever created. It’s sad actually, they could have built a thriving community but instead they went for a cynical money-grab.

Great chefs, easy to learn and reproduce the dishes

The children and I have loved using this cooking platform. Easy to use and children inspired to cook with me rather than waiting for dinner to turn up, even suggesting food to cook at the weekend! Our 10yr old has loved learning about why Jamie Oliver cooks the food he does and how he got to where he has! I am looking forward to enjoying the meals they create soon!

It was convenient to watch the videos at my leisure and appreciated getting the ingredient list

I'm so glad I got this for myself. I think it will be a great gift for my other foodie friends.

I received a subscription to YesChef for Christmas and had to provide my credit card information in order to access my gift. There was nothing on the website saying that it would auto renew at $300 if not cancelled in advance of the renewal date. I reached out to customer service several times and have not received a refund.
After posting this, I received a request from YesChef requesting a reference number and a phone. This was a gift and no reference number was provided. No order # or reference # or email confirmation was provided when the auto renewal was posted on 12/29/23. I do have multiple emails from Kevin which seems to be a common theme regarding billing disputes with YesChef. I do however have a reference number from the dispute which will be provided to YesChef on 2/27/23.

A culinary odyssey. YesChef is some of the finest content for novice and professional chefs alike. I have thoroughly enjoyed the documentaries, followed by fabulous guided recipes “in motion”. Take a journey around the world! You will be completely inspired and learn wonderful techniques and cooking styles through well curated videography. This was a favorite gift and purchase of 2023.

Love it! I enjoy watching the episodes as entertainment and then getting inspired to cook. I follow along while cooking and find the written ingredients/ instructions super helpful!
You get closer to the chefs with Yes Chef, other TV programs you don’t.

Watching YesChef is really nice! Great stories about each chef, plus they share and show their recipes in progress. The app is great too and I use it when shopping for the ingredients and checking on the steps.

So interesting to watch different chefs with different specialties and tips and personalities. Very enjoyable and educational.

Bought YesChef on a whim now love the lessons and my Yorkshire puddings, as a result of tips learned, are now legendary according to my family or known as mini volcanoes according to my grandchildren. Highly recommend down to earth no fuss easy instruction and I can use app wherever I go be it in the kitchen or at a campfire. love it.

The chefs are very didactic and enthusiastic! Nancy Silverton and Jamie Oliver were the first two chefs that I had watched, listened, and learned from. Their ability to not only explain the “how to” but also demonstrate is invaluable. I look forward to following the other chefs in this program.

The kindness and care of the team at Yes Chef is unparalleled and the whole experience with them has been truly wonderful! This is the best gift you can give for a loved one or treat for yourself!!! Highly recommend!!!
