Terrible experience
Terrible experience, minus the gym itself being very basic and dirty, the YouFit enrollment program is a complete and utter joke. They lock you into a contract, with little to know explanation that you're signing up for that when you apply online. If you cancel the subscription without giving prior notice, they will continue to charge your account, and eventually you'll accumulate debt that they claim they will be "report to the business bureau to hurt your credit". This is not a fair company, they only care about your money, stay away.

My old gym cancelled Silver Sneakers. We looked at other gyms in our area. We decided on Youfit (Sandal foot Boca Raton FL) I am a former elite power lifter. I also was a strength coach in a University. Youfit is not a power lifting gym. However, it has platforms for squat, and deadlift with more than adequate weights. It also has a bench area with dumbbells. The machines are both plate loaded, and pin machine. They are very functional. The gym is very clean. The mgt. is very friendly, and accommodating. I enjoy working out there. There is no reason to say you cannot work out there.

I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. I cancelled my membership after a payment issue where my bank initially authorized the charge and then declined it. Instead of working with me when I tried to fix the payment, they added a $23 late fee within just a few days and refused to waive it. No one made any effort to help or offer a solution — they simply directed me to close the account.
On top of that, my membership rate was increased without any email or prior notification. That is completely unprofessional.
The gym itself is very basic — no sauna, no pool, limited classes, and nothing special in terms of amenities. Yet they charge cancellation fees and make no effort to retain customers or provide decent customer service. For less than $42 a month, there are many other gyms that offer far more value and actually care about their members.
I would not recommend this gym based on my experience.

The gym itself is disgusting. It often smells bad, there is rust on the equipment, and poorly maintained. It does not feel clean or well cared for.
The biggest issue is their billing and cancellation practices, which feel unfair and misleading. I have been a member for nearly one year and I already canceled my membership, giving the required 30 days’ notice.
This makes no sense. If my membership is canceled and I am only finishing the final month, they should charge only the remaining monthly fee to complete the year. Instead, they are charging the full annual fee even though I will no longer be a member.
This feels like a money grab rather than customer service. Between the dirty facility, poorly maintained equipment, and unfair billing practices, I do not recommend this gym.

Terrible experience of their cancellation policy they charge you an annual fee automatically every year we just paid 100 dollars without informing you or giving you the option to cancel. They request a 30 day written notice cancellation. Would never recommend them again

WOW- What a joke scam!! YouFit memberships are now paid Bi-weekly. Which means they scam an additional payment per year from EVERYONE!!
East Boca spot is Tiny & not the cleanest!!
Example-
1) $30 per month = $360/yr.
2) $15 biweekly (x26) = $390/yr

I'm writing this review out of frustration
I'm writing this review out of disappointment and frustration. I have been a gym goer since the late 90s, when Jack LaLanne. As someone with higher education, I understand how the market works, and I hope some investors recognize this opportunity and open a new type of gym to deliver what customers want and need.
I have been at 4 locations of YouFit, and I got stuck at the one on 8755 SW 24th St ·, Miami, FL, but not because I checked all the boxes, just enough to keep going, until now. YouFit was welcomed because people grew tired of LA Fitness's corporate greed, creating an environment where salespeople feel compelled to mislead members to take home some income. But the YouFit franchise model opens the door to local investors who are clueless or disdainful of customers' demands and needs.
The first location I visited was at 8311 W Flagler St, and the owner started removing popular equipment to fill space with some little-known or low-demand items: people complained, but they were ignored. Then I visited the YouFit located at 7070 SW Coral Way. The first thing that caught my attention was that the light of the water system sensor was not working, probably removed (maintenance guy at Planet Fitness told me he had do so because "it was malfunction": you fix it, you don't just disable it), so members are not warned that the filter is dirty - I learned that Planet Fitness at 8524 SW 8th St has done the same, and YouFit at 1605 SW 107th Ave too! I assume that they don't understand that's a liability, having the water fountain work with a dirty filter, building up bacteria without warning customers!
So, I finally landed on the last YouFit, where I have been stuck until recently - 8755 SW 24th ST. It's the only location around this area that replaces the filter when due. The place has been reasonably acceptable, but they fail big time because, despite members' complaints about some PT staff playing a cheap boombox (sound distorts when you max the volume), management chose to ignore the concerns. This is typical in Miami, where some owners don't hire real professionals to run the place to increase profits by paying lower compensation and sacrificing quality. We have told management that most of us wear headsets to listen to our workout music, and tuning a local radio station is a personal choice for those PTs. The guys made it worse, like challenging us, which is a way to tell us, "if you don't like it, go somewhere else," and we're doing exactly that!
Now, this is the case: for a long, long time, consumers have endured the abuse of taxi owners/drivers, and then came Uber, which achieved massive success because people were fed up! And that is what I envision, not just hope, some investor who opens a new brand. Believe me, people hope for it.

I would give zero stars if I could. The facilities are underwhelming and its a pain in the ass to cancel. You have to provide all kinds of information just to cancel.

TODAY, AFTER EIGHT MONTHS OF BEING A MEMBER, I WILL NOT BE RETURING!!
I originally singed up to the 'Freedom' option when first joining YouFit Colchester, being a new member and not wanting to tie myself into a contract, this was the best option to take.
A few months ago, at the end of September I spoke with a chap on the front desk and asked if I could sign myself up to the 'Value' option, as I wasn't really interested in joining another gym, this was a cheaper option to take (I believe this chap was the manager).
One month passed, and I noticed my direct debit was never taken, I spoke with a young lady on reception, Who checked my account and mentioned there was no debt showing, but informed I had been singed up to the 'Value' contract and she was going to email accounts, to have this matter resolved.
Second month passed and my account still being in exactly the same state. No debt showing on my account, no direct debit taken from my account - another email sent to accounts from the reception staff.
Today, after another month passing!!! I was turned away at the front desk, by a rude member of staff, who clearly had great pleasure in doing this, in front of other members.... and staff!!! I was told my contract was cancelled 3 months ago, (funny, that's when I asked to be placed on the cheaper tariff)…..I was then told I would have to resign back up....which would have involved me paying another £25 signing up fee and one month upfront.....I had already paid for this when I singed up 8 months ago.
I used your gym 4 times a week, and each time, I signed in using my card, for the 3 months....I had been very honest with all of you at reception, voicing my concerns to you with my account, and my new apparent contract!!
I was very evident I wasn't after a free ride! but the older lady today at reception made this very apparent what she thought!
This was a clear mistake by yourselves.

Facilities well outdated,half the time the facilities are not even available, swimming pool closed, yet still charging you full price. When complained over 3 months ago, I was told I can cancel my membership if I'm not happy.
So I gave notice over the phone and cancelled my direct debit. Nobody mentioned that you can only cancel your contract if you email one specific email address that isn't mentioned anywhere on their website only on the T&C.
God sees my soul I've been calling them for weeks to get this sorted and promised me to call back but never did. They are just waiting for the debt to grow and just to tell you it's my fault I haven't read the T&Cs.

Just joined bromsgrove holiday inn. Spa only review. seems clean , pool area does need revamping , showers need changing mould on tiles holes in wall curtains are out dated . Staff very friendly. And helpful . Need more classes . Haven't been in gym yet . I'll give it a year see how I get on . People that go there are friendly.

Well, there are 3 members living in my home. Myself and my 2 sons. One son joined youfit in SandleFoot cove, Boca Raton, Florida. His monthly payment was $9.99. I joined a few months later and I was told the rate is $19.95 per month. Then my other son joined and they charged him $9
99 per month. Maybe because they were in their 20's they charge a lower rate? I think it's because they are scumbags and figured that as an adult, I could afford to spend more!?I've left reviews on Google, Facebook, Yelp. I will be calling the BBB, Tallahassee to see about the legalities.
Youfit Portsmouth are awful
Youfit Portsmouth are very poor. Jacuzzi is always broken, the pool and changing rooms are very dirty. The chemicals in the pool damaged 2 of my friends hair permanently. Communications with the company are very poor, you can never get a reply to what you need. It's difficult to cancel membership. Not value for money. Only one class which is often cancelled. There are swomming lessons so limited availability. The gym is tiny and poor. Sports staff are lovely but expected to be cleaners too and have to leave the front desk which isnt fair on them. I would not recommend at all.
You fit gym J7 Birmingham Dirty
The You Fit gym pool and shower areas are dirty and the floor tiles, skirting boards are covered in green mould. There are no Gym cleaners and the pool has considerable amounts of grit in it. It is rarely cleaned and the scum is ground into the tiles. The Instructions are very good and try to work with what they have. Basic equipment like resistance bands, fitness balls, yoga blocks do not exist. The gym is really accessible locally but it has a long standing reputation for being unclean locally. Complaints to the You Fit central membership are directed back to the Gym and no action is ever taken. The gym would be very well used by local people if these basic issues were addressed. It's such a wasted facility with huge potential. The dirty issues have been known and complained about for many years, but remain unaddressed. I am told this is because central resources management won't fund cleaners.

You Fitness/ ABC Fitness Solutions apply epredatory billing practices I could not visit any YouFit facilities months due to knee injury and work out of State relocation. However, they didn't allow me to cancel my men have a membership even though I emailed them proof of new residence and dosct's notes. YouFit outsources memberships management with ABCFitness. They denied my cancelation requests for months. At the end, I ended out paying almost $30 monthly for 8 months, without even been in Florida

Rejoined youfit Chester on Wrexham road. Impressed.
Unlike total fitness, it's clean, friendly , warm adjustable showers , warm swimming pool and jacuzzi, and much cheaper.
So glad I left total fitness and joined Youfit in Chester .
Highly recommen.
